Nooil:
Why should people be 18 and above?
Hello Nooil. Thanks for reaching out and for your concern.

You see, ethically, researchers need to get the consent of people before conducting survey research on them.

In Nigeria, anyone below 18 falls into a protected class of people referred to as minors.

By law, minors cannot consent; their parents or guardians must give consent for them to participate in any survey research.

Since we want to be as ethical as possible while conducting this research, we will have to and must obtain parental consent to conduct survey on anyone below 18. This, at the moment, will complicate things for us, and we lack capacity to do.

Thank you once again.
InvestmentFree, Simple & Short Feasibility On Maize Farming by TheSparrow(op): 2:44pm On Jun 16, 2020
Hello all. We have hundreds of fertile and secure farmland, best suited for maize/soya farming, in Kaduna state available for lease to interested persons.

We've written a free report to provide new-entrants with firsthand information of what it takes to engage in maize/soya farming.

Summary

Nigeria produces a wide range of agricultural commodities, which could serve as raw materials for industrial production and food crop for human consumption. This dual nature of these crops makes them to be in high demand and two of such crops are Maize and Soyabeans.

Maize/soya are cereal crops that grows across a range of agro-ecological zones in Nigeria, though it is grown slightly more in the Northern part of the country. Two types of maize are grown in Nigeria, the yellow and white variety and due to its rate of adaptability, Maize is not a seasonal product and some of the major producing states in Nigeria includes Kaduna, Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Yobe, Jigawa, Gombe, Taraba, Plateau, Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, Nasarawa ,Niger and Zamfara.

As shown in the write-up, the cost implication of cultivating one (1) hectare of land is two hundred and fifty thousand naira (N250,000). This covers the cost of farmland lease, farm preparation, hybrid seeds, fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides and farm labor.

One (1) hectare of land is expected to yield an average of 4 tons (40 bags). When cross planted with soyabeans, an average yield of one and a half (1.5) ton of soyabean is also expected. As at now, the average cost of maize is ten thousand five hundred naira (N10,500) per bag while that of soyabeans is eleven thousand naira (N11,000) per bag.

Assuming that after harvest, the price of maize becomes nine thousand naira (N9,000) per bag and that of soyabeans becomes ten thousand naira (N10,000) per bag, it implies that a minimum return of five hundred and ten thousand naira (N510,000) is expected from cultivating maize on one (1) hectare of farmland within a period of four months.

PoliticallyInco:
After filling out the survey, permit me to make the following comments

The question on the various things that can be done to curb rape should have been multiple choice. I, for instance, do not believe that a single approach needs to be adopted.

I believe in guaranteed and stiff penalties;awareness creation, even in schools to the youngest students as part of sex education class e.g teaching them how to respect women and principles of consent etc; safety and security awareness for ladies on the interim before other preventive measures start to gain grounds and take effect; etc.

Overall, good work. And I hope the data you collect serves the purpose it is intended for which hopefully is to make a difference in the society and protect women from rape.
Thank you for taking your time to complete the survey and also for your valuable recommendation.

Please note that your recommendation have been implemented.

Warm regards
