I started my Domaining journey April, 2021. I bought my first domain (VegasFacelift//king) in June after taking a paid class.
Thereafter, I started buying other names one after the other. I came across this thread through a friend we took this class together (Emeraldfynest). Out of frustration, I decided to take Mr Iyke's class in September 2021 and I bought more domain names after that, still no sales. I desperately outbounded and followed up Hoping to make a sale before the end of 2021 but alas, nothing. I thought of giving up but I kept seeing sales reports here and newbie sales alerts too
People like HighestPopoori, Holurinde, Humblemax and GPexchange really motivated me to continue when I saw their sales.
I got to the 15th domain and I decided to stop right there. I am presently Serving and till now, I have no savings cos I kept buying domain names with every available money I could get.
It was my 10th domain that got sold

Please do not give up on this business. I remember times I'll spend 6 hours through the night reading this thread, hours surfing through ED for names, reading PDFs and all...

Fine, you're entitled to your own opinion as I'm with mine. The impression any random person will get in this thread is that domainers are cashing out massively, maybe in the past yes, but things are not all that rosy anymore.

It's good to let people understand what is going on because you don't know the extent of frustration some guys are experiencing, albeit quietly because of no sales yet they keep seeing tidbits of sales here and there.

If you will be honest, how many domains do you have in stock? How many have you sold so far since the last couple of months? What is the ratio of domain in stock/domains sold?


Even established domainers that have been in the business since over 10 years already acknowledge some of these points I listed here, you can check on namepros.

I'm not saying all these to discourage anyone but for people to be more realistic to avoid being frustrated.

Coming here to post random sales doesn't really tell the whole story, it can even be misleading.

Creating a Grey account is very simple. To verify it, you need to submit your International passport, Driver's license, National ID or NIMC slip (Go to NIMC center near you to print a coloured NIMC slip), and your proof of address (power bill, water bill, phone bill, or bank statement). To convert to naira, you need to add your Nigerian Bank account, and follow a simple screen instruction to convert your funds from dollar, pound or euro to Naira, and transfer same to the naira bank account for a fiat withdrawal.

(1) For the Bank Address, I opened the account in Ado- Ekiti but the bank branch is not operational again...Should I use the bank address closest to me?
(2) What will the bank contact name and telephone number be?
(3) Is ABA # same as routing number?
