Ariani: No Yoruba founded Olukumi. They met Igbos on ground who welcomed them and who they called "Olukumi" meaning "my friend". Anyday the Yorubas in Odiani ( original name of the place you call Olukumi today) what to go back to Owo and join their Yoruba cousins, they would be welcomed. But if they choose to remain in Odiani, then they have chosen to be Igbo and assimilate fully as such, which they are already doing willingly. Grammer olùkùmi means my friend in Yoruba not eboe okay? zero8zero is olùkùmi and he disagrees with you |

Igbos have several different type of lutes, classifed according to string and size, however these seems to have gone extinct. nice thread this is how it should be no bashing of others to raise yourself up kudos |

Tho I don't really see much details about them but I'm sure they're also indigene do you know that the real name of Tapa is Nupe? that sango's mother was Tapa? The Nupe are indeginous to Nigeria's north central that they were once part of the Oyo empire? maybe there's another Tapa though :-/ |

tollyboy5: I don't like the name odua republic because a Yoruba nation can't include all odua race so why do we popularize the name "odua" there are other names that could define us better not Odua republic. Except we want to rewrite people history and add what is not. Ijaw of ondo are not odua descendant, egun of badagry are not Odua, tapa of oshodi are not, even some Yoruba sect have a variant story of their race different from the popular once.we can't force name like 'odua' on other race who are path of us. Tapa of Oshodi? |

Nigerians just wanna be tops in everything coz they were told 50 years ago they're the giant of Africa. So the Kenyans have an edge in that thread - I'll honestly give it to them. no they have no edge Kenya has absolutely nothing on Nigeria Besides ghanians,Nigerians, south Africans are all against the Kenyans on that thread I'm very active on it |

... I don't know if he's got another moniker . This forum is not foolproof though, as your canceller has demonstrated, so it might be a futile exercise. the canceller is living a frustrated life I can assure you of that it's not a normal task to follow about 30 people that make an average of 20 posts per day each and start cancelling one after the other and get banned within 5 minutes and go to create another account with a temporary e-mail and continue where you left off and continue the cycle he's been at this for about 4 years I'm sure his brains get liquid sometimes yeah the forum is just like any other forum(it's old though) but we love it |

TMKsouth: U guys like dissing the north but you're just as bad. I remember reading that the south has a birthrate double the size of SA. In SA we have 2 to 3 kids on average, southern Nigeria 4 to 6 and the north a bit more than that. it's not up to that the south has an average of 4 we were farmers and hunters primarily before colonization and we are used to at least 3 children and we take care of them unlike the north that has an average of 6 and dont take care of the children - now that's the real definition of "breed like rabbits" |

I know you've been banned like a million times, that's why I don't intervene when that guy scratches out your posts coz its probably just revenge for your own toxicity , especially in the politics section which I don't frequent much.
You guys are killing me about IG , and yet u keep running after him starting stupid battles.
U asked I explain my second paragraph. Yeah, I used to get a lot of bans - been here for 3 years now. By my previous life I meant when negative comments used to get to me and I would go all nuclear with the insults (and hence get banned). But after learning how Nigeria functions I can now distinguish who's harmful and who's not, and respond appropriately. I barely have anything to do with IG lol @ the canceller lol you can't let insults get to you that's a fundamental rule to nairaland all the supermods are bias if someone like me who's already on the watch of the mods insult I will get banned in less than 10 minutes there are people who are ready to report me that's why I don't insult directly I always find a way to twist my way around while still serving the person |
