During civil war, they left almost all their investments in the north and West. But today, how come they are everywhere again.

A friend told me of how his state government got envious and chase them away from the state built trade center and reallocate all the spaces to the indigenes.
Igbo traders went and bought a large expanse of land from a community in the state and built standard trade centers.

unfortunately the government trade center became a ghost town due to the indigenes inability to raise funds or face the rigors and exigencies involved.

You people love peddling falsehood. The thread was not about if Ironsi changed Nigeria from a federation to a Republic. It was about if it was Ironsi that abolished Regionalism and introduced unitary rule. Republic simply means that people are now self governing. I asked two questions

1. How is it possible that Ironsi abolished Regionalism when all 4 Regions he met when he cane to power were still existing the day he died?

2. How is it possible that Ironsi introduced unitary rule when the four Regions not only existed, but had resource control and fiscal federalism?

Decree 34 only standardised and unified the civil service. The decree neither abolished the Regions nor introduced unitary rule

The Aburi meeting did not last for 2, 3,4 months. It lasted for a few days.
Yorubas, Hausas, Fulanis and other Nigerians had 2,3,4 months to adopt confederation, what did they do? They went and started creating new states that was not agreed on, in Aburi.

Today 100s of months down the line, they still haven't adopted confederation. Ojukwu restructured Nigeria fairly, but other Nigerians have kept Nigeria skewed.

You hit a wrong wave on the side of Biafra. The following countries did not support Biafra: France, China, West Germany, Republic of South Africa, Rhodesia ( was not a country), Czechoslovakia, Spain, Portugal and Israel (was fighting war against Arab countries for its survival) in 1967. Zambia (which was independent country and formerly Northern Rhodesia) recognized Biafra so did Haiti, Ivory Coast, Tanzania and Gabon. Please be mindful that recognition does not equal military support.

West Germany supplied all G3 assault rifles and Mercedes Benz trucks used by Nigerian army. All the Ak-47 used by Nigerian army was variant of Chinese made Ak-47. Austria supplied Nigeria army with Steyr trucks. Government of France, Portugal, Spain and Czechoslovakia did not support Biafra in any form because British lobbied them to stay away from the internal conflict in its former territory. However individual groups and persons from the aforementioned countries helped Biafra and some paid the ultimate prize. The greatest supplier of arms and ammunitions to Biafra was Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Remove or pull down every investment established by igbos across the federation what will be left is majorly desert.
