Intrigues......clandestine movements......dare-devil plans.....Satanic schemes...
Naija is never short of drama....
But why must we be so complicated as a people? why must we try to complicate the simplest of things to the detriment of the well being of our nation?
''Na too much sense dey kill monkey''...... Nigeria makes this statement a truism every time |
Politics › Re: Clash Of Ideas: Saraki Differs With President-elect Buhari On Assets Declaration by theV0ice: 3:11am On Apr 19, 2015 |
Saraki and GMB do not have any clash of ideas. It's only a desire for mischief that will make someone say or believe that.
GMB has said he'll insist his political appointees declare their assets which is a first step to whatever additional steps he'll take to fight corruption in his cabinet and the country.
Saraki is not a political appointee but an elected official and he didn't even say asset declaration is against fighting corruption. Rather he wants us to know it's not enough neither is it the only means to fight the hydra headed monster.
I see no clash at all. both are right however you look at it. |

chuna1985: U have spoken well, buh Lemme tell u a very honest truth, Its very hard to be a member here without insulting people sometimes , u kno why, Many Nigerians in nairaland reason upside down. many are outright annoying ... nice nyt. Not true. If you're returning fire for unwarranted insults, that will be understandable but to throw insults spontaneously isn't cool and will never be cool. wish you a fine night indeed |

chuna1985: Being a gal does not attract insults where I come from. it was ur actions that prompted my attitude Being able to bridle your tongue, temper your speech and watch over your general reaction is a veritable sign of maturity. Nothing on earth should make throw insults at a stranger on a faceless forum simply because you disagree with him or you felt he made a wrong statement. What happened to 'correcting' him and moving on? Some did so and they didn't die you know? |

i think GMB is more concerned about the folks he can directly influence. these are ministers, heads of agencies etc whose appointments are solely his prerogative.
he can't insist elected officials like senators, governors etc. he can only encourage them to and he knows |

If the below is true....
''....Dr. Gabriel Adah was one time Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly....''
Then Rochas really fought against the odds to be leading with almost 80,000 votes after the last round. I expect him to see it through despite the alleged partisanship of the REC |

Politics › Re: Why Are Some Jonathan Fans Still Hating?? by theV0ice: 6:15am On Apr 18, 2015 |
dafuturis: Exactly, GMB would have sure pulled a reasonable amount of votes, say between 25-35%. Every test poll conducted saw Buhari winning by very wide margin, online poll conducted by Naij.com, NL, even the ones conducted by GEJ facebook handle, need I mention that of AIT . Okupe was advocating votes and support for GEJ on a programme (can't placed specifically) when his audience started chanting "change". GMB victory was written in the sky, moon, stars everywhere. Absolutely everything was reflecting a defeat for GEJ, GEJ was so clueless that he didn't realise his campaign team adopted image attacks strategy on GMB kept drawing more and more fans to GMB camp ( am an example of this, used to be a 'fencist'), I was forced to research about GMB, the result of my research made me love him and so rooted for him.
God bless Nigeria At least the PDP now knows how not to run a presidential campaign. They'll be wiser next time |
