I agree with the write up. The number of folks who screamed gej will/must win in 2015 is more than those who did same in 2011 yet the man could only manage 53% of the votes he got in 2011. This more or less proves the OP is right. GEJ was scammed left, right and centre by his so called supporters. I saw a lot of young people take it upon themselves to go into the streets to canvass votes for buhari like they were doing evangelism. You didn't need to be told these guys were not given a dime but most likely would have spent their own money on the arrangement. I know quite a number who did. |
doctokwus:hmmmm.....i'll have to agree with you eventually i think the most important thing to them was keeping GMB away from govt.....they didn't mind if GEJ doesn't continue. even GEJ himself knew the game was up. His strategists had already told him he stood no chance but GMB mustn't get there. let's watch and see how the remaining days will pan out but i'm sure these guys have not given up |
that's nice |
Hmmmm...... This looks and sounds rather far fetched but Orubebe's actions that day were scary and it was very obvious it was part of a carefully written and planned script. Then the joint statement from US & UK was a confirmation that something was really amiss. The fact that they had to interrupt their nuclear negotiations to release that terse statement is a further confirmation. The remaining days before May 29th are indeed pregnant. In any case, thank God for his mercies |
How is he a stranger?? This is evil politics at it's peak |

omenka: ![]() No my broda. The news Said 100million naira in dollars. Its not 100million dollars |
Who will lead this opposition is the billion dollar question. Shouting opposition is easy.....truly being in the opposition is a different kettle of fish |
Chiaka:Me too |
Chiaka:Why is it so difficult for toads like you to talk without displaying the poor quality and little quantity of grey matter in your head? Is murdering chief Adube, his daughter and 3 sons a part of the 'democratic' process? Or you're simply oblivious of the matter being discussed but feel desperately obligated to make a post? When you read the OP and other news sources, then realise that PDP is also complaining in Imo, Nassarawa, Lagos, you can come back and talk reasonably. |
Very true Better to have strong parties with strong systems than large parties with strong individuals. Parties are meant to institutions not beholden to any benefactor for its day to day running. The party should be self sustaining. PDP used to have some semblance of internal democracy, better than AD/AC/APC but they went ballistic since last year. Hope they retrace their steps. |
Chiaka:Nobody wants a one party system but how do you ensure the country doesn't become a one party state? Is it by encouraging the murderous rampage in rivers state and akwa ibom? What will you do if APC does exactly same in subsequent elections? Did anybody ask PDP not to complain? The question is why tag APC 'bad losers' because they complained about some elections when PDP themselves have their own complaints? |

A lot of Hullabaloo has been raised over this issue so i wish to bring up as many pictures of these scenarios for NLders who love to raise dust unnecessarily to obsess all they want or for genuine thinkers to ruminate over. In these pictures, you'll see your hero or Villain deferring to another person. Now judge as you like Others who have more can supply as well

may she remain arrested wicked girl abi na young woman ![]() |
God bless the honest woman may she be continually favored by God and men amen |
Medley:If you can't see the contradiction in the bolded, then it's Unfortunate. If Metuh agrees there were irregularities in the elections, why will PDP go ahead to congratulate the beneficiaries of the irregularities? what is the congratulation for? for masterminding irregularities? Of course with all the killings of supporters of a particular party, how were the supporters allowed to vote freely? Which sane supporter of APC or independent person would go out to vote in Obrikom where an APC chieftain named chief Adube was slaughtered with his 4 children, 2 brothers and gateman while his 2 old wives were made to watch? Do you know how many people were killed that particular night in Onelga of Rivers state? PDP would always win in Rivers state in my estimation but they should have done the 'winning' with some sense, heart and respect for human lives. How anybody believes there was actually 75% voter turnout (highest in the country) in Rivers state in such a bloody and murderous atmosphere is truly surprising. |
I thought some 'wise men' said its only APC that challenges election results? What is this complaint from metuh of PDP about? |
thotsofnaij:And you assume that all what you wrote up there justifies the tag of 'no man's land' on Lagos but not on calabar or lokoja? |
ITbomb:I've thought of everything i could miss if Jonathan leaves...as in things of good report...... NOTHING AT ALL......ABSOLUTELY NOTHING I wish him the best anyway. He tried his best but he was way out of his league in that office. |
Some monks in the Catholic church also take vows of poverty or renunciation of material things I think. Its very similar to that described by the op although they dont carry begging bowls about like the almajiri but I'm sure they also rely on the charity of the willing |
Hmmm.... My question is if not that PDP too are complicit in the case of so called under age voters, why didn't they try to stop it? afterall they control the security forces which they even used to imprison people like Okorocha and Oshiomhole in the south? Who can say for sure that PDP are not even the ones who used under age voters? Abi the guys shouting about this went to check which party they were voting? I think I'll manage an underage voter situation because both parties have equal opportunity to help themselves unlike the case in the SS and SE where guns, knives, machete etc were used to chase both over aged and under aged voters away to enable ghosts line up to thumbprint ballot papers. Imagine Rivers state with all the blood shed a day to the election and on the election day proper having 75% voter turnout? The way they scream this under aged voting self, you'll be forgiven if you start assuming only children live in the north. GMB won in Benue too, a state he's meant to be hated considering his tribe and religion. Will you also blame it on under aged voting? |
Alfamann:Seltzer, you know as well as I do that this site encourages tribalism. It has little or nothing to do with whoever the OP is. Bad and hateful topics, news sell on NL whoever posts it. |
NgwaManNaija4LF:If not that you have less intelligence than a toad, you would have realised your rant has nothing in tandem with my post which you quoted in your childish attempt at busybodiness or the post of the guy I was responding to. Now crawl back into that cave you escaped from and let me reply your more intelligent comrade. |
voxpopp:all is well that ends in the bank account my friend......no matter how many are destroyed in the process ![]() |
![]() Elder Eziachi always enjoys killing somebody's 'joy' ![]() I'll be back to comment when i finally get what to write |
.....because nothing sells like bad news or hateful comments. they drive traffic like mad and that's what the bosses here crave traffic which then brings money....eventually morality is a 'clog' in this particular wheel of progress |
per second news ko....per second biling ni Rubbish blogger wants to get traffic tell another lie abeg |
thotsofnaij:And it's simply because the name Nigeria wasn't yet given then Hope Calabar as capital of the Niger Coast Protectorate, Southern Protectorate and Oil River Protectorate ring some bells? |
ThisMeansWAR:alright brother cheers |
