francizy:OK then. I wasn't there with you so I cant pretend to know what transpired there. Oh...so some hausa/fulani muslim profs have led the foremost university in the SE?? Thanks...I've learnt something new today |
tbaba1234:I know you're a Muslim and I know you'll find it wrong but I won't modify it. We are not discussing Islam here and I careless about the religion of GMB. He could as well have been a satanist for all the cares in the world. I voted for a honest, modest man not bogged down by materialism and I got me a honest and upright president elect. The Jews have theirs and the Christians have theirs too. Pls let's leave it at that. |
dafuturis:Of course you're very correct. If not for the thugs unleashed on the populace by PDP in rivers state, the votes would have reflected that the folks there also wanted change. GMB wouldn't have won of course but he would have pulled substantial votes. |
francizy:Have you checked the Nigerian map b4? Do you see the space occupied by the Hausa/Fulani Muslim north? Any man that thinks he can win a presidential election in Nigeria without an Hausa/Fulani Muslim on the ticket is a comedian. Democracy is a game of numbers......the earlier you internalise this, the better for u. Do you in all honesty believe a Hausa/Fulani Muslim can be elected a VC in FUTO in today's Nigeria? We are talking of the presidency here and history will always record it that gej got 8million votes from the north in 2011 & 3.4million votes there in 2015. I'll leave you to tell me how many votes GMB got in the SE in 2011 & 2015. You're free to believe I'm a Hausa Muslim or a Yoruba Muslim.....its your call. To add to your consternation again, let me tell you that pretty babe I met and married in the north is an Igbo girl. Islam has a violent streak but what is the solution? Shut the hausa/Fulani Muslim out of power? How do you do that in a democracy with universal adult suffrage? As long as we remain together, we MUST find a way to co-exist peacefully. |
Here comes the real deal.... Now the real PDP implosion begins......watch as accusations and counter accusations start flying from all directions |
francizy: Who started the whole betrayal tag? Who started a journey through 'history' to show the Yoruba don't like SE people? Who went on a long journey of revisionism? Who has been screaming that the Yoruba sold the entire south to the north? Who has been calling the Yoruba 'slaves' for aligning with the same folks the SS &SE have ALWAYS aligned with all through the 55 years of Nigeria's independence? Who called their own sons 'traitors', 'efulefu' etc for joining the APC? Pls my friend.....don't make me laugh. If GMB derails from the reason he won the popular vote, he will know its not for nothing that Yoruba produced the likes of Fawehinmi, Ransom-kuti's, Soyinka etc who have always opposed injustice and misrule by any leader be it Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo. The true opposition will start from the Yoruba e.g the lagos-ibadan press. You can count on that. |
![]() Ngige has warned them already that Opposition politics is a very hard life in Nigeria...dem think say na beans. I really can't wait to see Olisa Metuh doing opposition without the Might of the FG behind him ![]() The guy thinks it's like when he used The police to molest his son's school principal and teachers because of the son's misdemeanor http://www.nigeriavillagesquare.com/forum/main-square/61523-pdp-leader-invades-school-policemen-print.html https://www.nairaland.com/621267/pdp-leader-beat-up-vice-principal I wish him luck......that his if he himself remains in the PDP o....heard Ogbulafor is already negotiating ![]() |
Ezemust:What about Ihedioha? did he perform at the HOR that you wish him to replace Okorocha? How many bills did he sponsor that have any bearing on the life of folks in the SE? But anyway, I understand...... ![]() |
But of course... Ngige has warned them already that Opposition politics is a very hard life in Nigeria...dem think say na beans. Ezemust: @ the bolded. Relax pls....don't lose it at this point. We are having a civil discussion. The same way gej was voted in 2011 then booted out in 2015 for non performance. Simple Now, why should any person have a problem with that? |
What about all the insults during the campaign? |
Ezemust:Under ACN in the same election that you yourself claimed Tinubu and other Yoruba leaders of ACN supported gej and asked their supporters to vote for gej against their own party's candidate. When did ngige become a traitor? A bast.ard? An efulefu? Now reconcile it with the time APC was formed and then tell us how many elections ngige or any other APC candidate won since then in Igboland. |
Ezemust:The joke is on you my friend because the ngige and okorocha that were heroes to Igbo suddenly became traitors, bast.Ards, efulefu simply because they had the temerity to follow the amala and ewedu party of Awolowo's people. You're not crazy for party indeed. Answer if you can. Which candidate will you vote for if APC fields him/her? |
francizy:Just like the Yoruba voted massively for gej/sambo against their own son too. Truly there shouldn't be any issue with it. |
francizy:1st off, I lived and worked in the north for almost 8 years across 7 NW, NE and NC states and even met and married my wife there. So if you think you know them, I know them very very well too. your initial post didn't take into cognisance the points I bolded in this your recent post. If you knew the bolded, why paint a picture that portrays the northern Muslim as being intolerant of every other tribe? Gej got 309,057 votes in sokoto while GMB got 540,769 in 2011. Was it only Christians that gave him this vote? How do you explain that in the same 2011, gej got 1,175,954 in abia while GMB got only 3,608? Does that not give us an idea about who is more close minded? Or can this be more accurately explained by the PDP rigging machine? |
NgwaManNaija4LF:Says the n!ncompoop with the intelligence of a retar.ded rat that crawled out of a cave to muddle up a discussion between rational human beings. Go back to the hole you crawled out from. |
Ezemust:Let me indulge myself with your logic. would the Igbo have chanted TRANSFORMATION if gej was in APC (amala and ewedu party) with an Hausa running mate? |
Ezemust:Which is why I'm still asking you why you and your friends screamed to the high heavens that gej didn't need the SW to remain president, If you believe SW leaders were the reason for the buhari brand? Were you simply lying to yourselves? Or you want to pretend you didn't see such threads? Since you believe Yoruba always vote their own, why did gej waste 6 weeks trying to beg and bribe the SW for support? GEJ got 1.6million votes from the SW, who gave him those votes? |
francizy:Can you say for sure that no Hausa/Fulani Muslim voted for Jonathan in 2011? Can you also confidently say non did in 2015? Where then did the almost 8 million votes he got in the north in 2011 come from? Are u admitting Jonathan rigged? |
Ezemust:Which they didn't choose with bakare in 2011? Do you know how many times gej, PDP, your friends online told us gej will trounce GMB in the SW because osinbajo is a lightweight and tinubu is a spent force? If gej knew this and you knew Yoruba would always vote their own, why did gej waste 6 weeks begging and pleading with the SW? Wasn't that a very unwise decision and action? |
Ezemust:Which is why those who know will tell you Jonathan didn't lose the elections in the north......he lost it in the north central and most importantly.....the south west. Unfortunately you and others didn't feel the SW was important until elections were postponed when gej practically relocated govt to SW The same SW and Northcentral voted for him in 2011. Why? Because they all including I assumed he was going to be different but he proved us wrong by supporting the creation of more cabals........sadly. Also, since you believe in the idea of stronghold, why accuse the north for voting their own? When abia did exactly same? |
Ezemust:I've not seeing a state where the inhabitants hate their PDP governor as much as abia state yet buhari scored less than 10% there. How do you explain that? Also concerning the bold. If you truly believe it, why are u bitter GEJ lost? Is he expected to win everytime? Or you've assumed buhari must not win? Is it no longer democracy because GMB won? |
Ezemust:Who voted buhari in Benue state? Is it the Muslims too? |
sCun:Of course it did. We all know the northern establishment or Kaduna mafia has always liked power. It didn't start today but GMB can't be considered a true member of that power cult same way OBJ can't be considered a Yoruba regional politician. The northern poor are the bedrock of the fanatical support GMB enjoys in the north, not the elite or the power mongers. They're all in PDP and they threatened gej in 2011. Interestingly the same man who made the threat of Nigeria being made ungovernable for gej is Lawal Kaita, a man GMB jailed in 1984 for fraud and who is now a PDP bot member and gej till 2019 campaigner. Also You're accusing gbawe of predicting northern hostility but the man at least proffered ways gej could succeed inspite of it because he truly cares about Nigeria. You and your friends have also been prophesying doom and SS&SE hostility for GMB without advicing on how you think he can override the storm to better the lot of the country. What is more important to you? GEJ winning an election or Nigeria moving forward? |
torkaka:Exactly. This is the exact thing I told an Igbo friend 2 days ago. Let's assume the north didn't like Jonathan at all, hence his poor showing. How does anyone explain GMB, a Fulani Muslim defeating Jonathan, a christian in Benue state (predominantly Catholic) with natives that are believed to dislike Fulani muslims and a governor that is one of the staunchest and fanatical supporters of gej? Anybody who doubts the fact that nigetians wanted a change should study the votes in Benue state.....he'll get his answers |
sCun:And how many times did you see OBJ, his wife, his spokesmen, his close allies etc come out to use that card of 'northern gang up' against buhari in 2003? How many times did u find obj use that line as a defence against critics? How many times did obj come out to say the north was against him? If GMB starts using 'expected SS hostility' to him as an excuse to under perform, he'll simply sound the death knell on his presidency because a leader should find a way to succeed not look for excuses to explain away failure. Thank God GMB isn't known for avoiding responsibility. How many times have you heard him avoid taking responsibility for all his past actions? Even when you guys painted him as a devil? |
Isn't this whinning about an election loss getting stale?? GEJ lost, GMB won......get over it pls. June 12 annulment also seemed like the action to end humanity but here we are.....22 years after. I too do not see anything like 'God's vindication' of Fr Mbaka's stance......the priest simply spoke like a Nigerian affected by the lack of governance that GEJ displayed. What is it about this betrayal rubbish? Is there no space for independent thought again? Chekwas Okorie, a qualified igboman also contested.....how many Igbo voted for him?? Is that not the worst form of betrayal going by the writer's logic? |
Gbawe, you actually have shamed critics who have been accusing you falsely. To think that you didn't hide your disbelief of gej's abilities but you still gave plenty useful suggestions on how he could succeed. You've shown you're larger than your small minded traducers. Even your past posts they dug up absolve you of every accusation of bias and shows someone who is truly interested in the success of Nigeria. This I can say for most GMB supporters....at least down south. Like I say to those who pray GMB fails, "just ensure you've secured the citizenship of another country" ![]() GEJ lost, GMB won.......get over it or die in your bitterness. Your choice really. |
tuniski:And the same gej and his team started fighting the PVC and card readers as if they forgot they released money for it. What did they become afraid of?? Election loss?? Buhari can't fight PVC because 'america will know' according to GEJ so don't get worked up unnecessarily. |
jcmaiah:No problems. Nigeria was scammed by jona's 'I had no shoes' mantraa and Nigerians booted him out 4 years later. Same fate awaits GMB if he forgets what brought him there like gej did. PVC has no time for nonsense or childish pampering in the corridors of power. |
