This must be Kano Can't forget the fright i got when i arrived Ibrahim Taiwo road to resume at my new office in 2004 and i was confronted by the sight of 2 young boys pushing wheel barrows loaded with Garri bags of Naira notes in rubber band like this without any fear. I was like ''dem no get armed robbers for this place?'' Because in my ND hood where i was coming from, even the dough in your pocket is an endangered specie at a crowded B/stop Kano guys don't have respect for Naira notes at all |

Hmmm......
The only sadness I have about the victory of APC at the federal level is the obvious death of opposition politics in Nigeria simply because those gifted in the art have now been pushed to the centre.
PDP is not equipped to be in the opposition, neither can it play opposition politics. PDP couldn't run a credible campaign without OBJ (this was so glaring during the run up to the elections), PDP can hardly compete in a free and fair election (very evident in the way and manner opposition supporters were killed, attacked and intimidated away from the polling units in Rivers and akwa ibom states). PDP couldn't even put up a credible legal challenge. In short, PDP can't exist without the might of the federal govt behind them as they're seriously lacking in thought and strategy that does not involve violence.
I have no doubt that APGA has a better chance at being a credible opposition than the PDP. Hopefully the PDP would not muscle it out of a rightful victory in abia state on 25th April. |

PassingShot: Comrade, I have told you before that it is not possible to do any magomago with this one.
It's a case of "all eyes on me" as all attention of Okorocha and APC is focused on this particular election now.
If 2 agents were used per a polling booth during the proper election, they can afford to station five or more in each this time around.
This has slipped from PDP through rigging except voters actually vote against Okorocha. I believe you bro |

doctokwus: I assume that's d number of people with PVCs,thus eligible to vote. -However,average voter turn out has been 40%. Let's even assume that turnout can b as fraudulent as the highest of 70% got in Rivers state. This gives us turnout out of 79,000. Okorocha is leading with 79k + votes. -So assuming PDP were to find a way of fraudulently inflating voter turn out,and allocates ALL votes to Ihedioha, okorocha would still win. This rerun in Imo is a waste of funds, manpower and time. If INEC had even done d needed by checking d inflated figures in Mbaise, this rerun wouldn't have even been necessary. Infact, its not even number of folks with PVC. Its the total number of registered voters. The number of those with PVC isn't up to 80,000 as I heard sometime ago so really its simply an academic exercise but like I said earlier......fear PDP. Professor peller and Houdini na apprentice compared to PDP when it comes to abracadabra. |

Fear PDP......they can turn that 118,000 possible votes to 218,000 for ihedioha and 43,000 for rochas.
They've done it before in Akwa Ibom.....they can do it again in Imo.
Me dey fear PDP well well. |

codedguy1: It is true that all these are speculation but we can't but agree to a large extent regarding the reasons given against Ameachi being the SGF. He is too tempramental for that post.
If Ameachi ends up as a minister it also means he can be removed anytime the president feels he wants to reshuffle his cabinet, say 2years into the Buhari administration and their would be nothing Ameachi would do about it.
As it is now, Buhari can even scheme Bola Tinubu out of the equation and I believe Tinubu knows this, that's why he needs to plant his men in juicy positions at this early stage.
It won't be palatable for Ameachi if he ever falls out with this party, he can't even run home. The friction now is that politicians have fought tooth and Nail to wrestle power from PDP and apparently expect to be rewarded, but Buhari might be disposed to appointing technocrats for his govt to succeed which might not go down well with the politicians - we don work others wan come chop.
Hopeful we have politicians who are technocrats, the question is, do we have such? Who are they and how many are they?
Interesting times ahead. I can't argue with plenty of the things you said. The thing to do now is to just sit and watch |

hmmm.... all these talks are in the realm of mere speculations. I personally DO NOT WANT Amaechi as SGF. I'll prefer him as Chief of Staff who needs to learn from GMB at close range to be prepared for future possibilities (i see a future president or VP) or Minister of Interior or police affairs to show Mbu Anyway, let us leave Speculations.....when the time comes, GMB will take everybody by surprise with the appointments. His taciturnity will be exhibited fully. I wont advice anybody to place any bets on who will get what because you'll be in for a real shocker...... |

Gbawe: This you post sweet me die . Kai. How do you convince Nigerians you myopically insulted on accounts of their ethnicity, as if there is no tomorrow, to now join your effort to create something that no longer has national spread of influence and goodwill beyond the SE and SS? The North , in spirit, is no longer with the PDP and one saw this even in the body language of Muazu, PDP chairman, and many others who were taken aback by the sheer hatred and vitriol Mama Piss and the SE/SS preached against their region and people. Even politics cannot make a good and proud man accept such an assault against his own people he loves naturally. If fact many SW voters went off the PDP due to how it was hijacked by SE and SS elements who then led a war of bitterness and name-calling against the Yorubas. Some of our SE and SS brothers went too far going public with their hatred of the North and the SW, because they were sure GEJ would win, and now the lasting damage is done.
With that in mind, and considering the influence of the North in Nigerian politics, I wish 'goodluck' to those trying to resurrect the "biggest political Party in Africa" after GEJ has turned it into an enclave of petty, divisive and belligerent jingoists who do not know how to control their mouth and hatred for others. my brother, i dey wait jejely to see how this glorious opposition they've been mouthing will look like may 29th is almost here and may God see us beyond that time. Amen |

Those guys are just filled with hatred......and you can never succeed playing opposition politics if you don't havd the presence of mind...the calmness required and the patience needed to play it the way the SW did it perfectly.
You can't play politics of opposition with manifest hate for other Nigerians... That is why i laugh when some people delude themselves saying they'll rebuild PDP. How do they rebuild a once national party when they are agents of hate? and do not hide their disdain for Nigerians from other parts of the country? How do you go to the North to canvass votes when the northerner knows you refer to him as 'born troway' and 'nama rearer'? Its actually they who have boarded a 'one chance bus' |

Gbawe: Same here. I can bet any money most of these "GEJ till 3085" elements, probably about 95% of them, will not be here by September this year. We remained in opposition for four years from 2011 and came here daily, despite not having power at the centre, because we genuinely cared about Nigeria and wanted to see our dear nation gain good leadership.
This quality and desire is very important because it is what keeps us coming here day in and day out even when the spirit is very low because GEJ has let Nigerians down again. GEJ was mainly supported passionately by ethno-religious jingoists and haters who love the idea of resisting "Aboki" and "Yolobah" "gang-up and take-over" of Nigeria more than they love Nigeria. Let us see how long these sort of jokers, lacking pro-nation love and ideology, will last playing opposition when we know it is is GEJ they love and not Nigeria. A lot of them have already evaporated......let's see how long these ones lamenting here will hold out for |

Nigeria's population is about 180m. Meanwhile, only 15M (about 8% of the nation's population) voted for him. Your logic sucks my friend....whose fault was it that people didn't vote? Buhari's? Gej was elected with 22million in 2011 (even with the multiple registration that INEC had to clean up) which equals 12.9% of a population of 170million, is that not a failure mark as well? Remain in your room thinking of how to be negative about Buhari and his government. That does not change the fact that the oppressive and worthless PDP is gone from the centre. Buhari has not even begun his job formally and you are already having palpitations. Na to die when he begins to perform by putting your messiah (GEJ) to shame via showing that governance was never as difficult as the PDP deliberately pretended it was. More heartbreak on the way for you buddy. My bro, You know its not easy to do opposition?
