The crime is heinous no doubt but can we be rational and leave politics aside when addressing issues like this.

How is Buhari connected to this act? Is it because he shares the same ethnicity with the culprits?

The security operatives, local heads are to be held responsible for this. I don't want to believe that this is the first time an incidence of this would be happening in that community. If you find out it may have happened before but maybe not to this extent and something most probably would have caused it.

I'm a supporter of the General and this is in no way a defense of this heinous crime. But the question is what did the security operatives do to check this and what will they do to prevent another occurence. They aren't paid to seat in their offices or are they?

Nigerians genuinely interested in the progress of Nigeria, and perhaps still undecided, should watch the two interviews. Without boring Nairalanders with details, I will say the most important thing about Buhari, which I have seen in other leaders who went on to be great and pivotal in the development of their nation, is his inherent integrity and sincerity which prevented him from lying and making all manners of promises. Insincere politicians who are potential misrulers always lie and make promises they know they cannot deliver on because power for the sake of it is what they are after. They need the people's vote to get that power and will say/promise anything to get those votes.

If Buhari is only interested in reaching Aso Rock for the sake of that consideration alone rather than because of a genuine desire to 'fix' Nigeria then he could lie and promise heaven and earth as GEJ did 4-5 years ago. The man will not even compromise his personal integrity by lying to Nigerians !!! He did not make the interviews about the PDP and was not interested in savaging them as many wold take the opportunity to do given the monumental maladministration of our ruling Party. This is man focused on what he must do . The decency, focus and honesty of Buhari is apparent. there was no talk of anyone remembering phone numbers or the drinking habit or health of other Presidential candidates. No personalised pettiness at all. Just an upright and regal focus on the issues with Nigeria matched by an obvious passion for delivering change for the better. Allied with his legendary focus and will, then Nigerians can be rest assured this is a man who will work passionately for the ordinary man and lead him by example. Buhari, proving his superiority above the PDP looters hounding him, confirmed the truth of what is written below with these two interviews.

Wow op thanks for sharing this interview. I was kinda watching the part2 of the interview, and once again I will say am very impressed with buhari. I love the part were he said he won't marginalize any gender, as long as you are well educated, you are a specialist in any field, the door will be open for you.

Buhari also explained how he will diversify our economy by reviving our industries and heavily investing in agriculture. General buhari is one fine educated man who knows what he is talking about. I will watch the part one anytime am free.

Change is the most common feature in the entire uuniverse. Continuity is a very temporary phenomenon in the universe. We have continued long enough with the PDP. It's high time we had the long overdue change in Nigeria.
This is another opportunity that we shouldn't miss in this country again. We had missed many good opportunities of having or retaining good leaders in the past. These were people that would have turned the lot of this country around for good - especially for we the masses. All the prayers you have been praying in your churches, mosques, shrines, synagogues, etc, have always been answered with the good leaders he has never failed to bring your way. But a section of the country is bent on stopping the process of bettering our lot in this part of the world. Wake up my people. Nigerian masses, wise up. Stop being deceived. Stop being lured into deeper and deeper suffering and abject poverty. Your God will only provide the way for you. He won't carry your legs to walk the path. Because you are a being with consciousness and freewill.

This same America is very much interested in our elections. What do you think the reason is? Think!
Everybody all over the world wants Nigeria to experience this change. Ordinarily, the west won't support a radical like Buhari to preside over a strategic nation like Nigeria. But the overriding need for this change surpasses their sentiment.
