BlindAngel:
Good day Nairalanders, I bought a Toyota Camry, popularly knows as (Spider) about a week and 3 day's ago, and since then I'm spending close to 200k on fuel alone.

The next day after I bought the car, I bought 20k fuel for learning how to drive, before I could drive along the road to and fro 6 times, the fuel finished and the car stopped.

Since then I have been buying 20k fuel on a daily basis.

3 days ago I took it to a mechanic, they changed the nose, I don't know if I got that correctly, but I will attach the picture.

They changed the fuel filter, spark plugs, fuel Injector, and 0 two sensor plus others but yet the problem still persists.

Yesterday, after they finished working on it, the mechanics assured me that it'd work, but advised me to buy a good amount of fuel that it might be the cause of the problem, he said I should stop buying fuel of 20k downwards. So I bought 46,000 naira fuel to test it and I snapped the fuel kilometer reader on the dashboard, before I could drive anywhere the whole fuel finished in the middle of the road, I thank God I had some liter of fuel on a gallon that's on my boot, I brought it out filled my fuel tank and the car moved.

When I got home I checked my dashboard and saw that I only drove for 18km before the 46,000 naira fuel finished.

My younger brother Is saying that it's because of the recent cost of fuel that it might be normal, please expert in the house is this normal?

If it isn't, I'd be selling it and getting a Toyota Corolla. I'm so fed up.

Below is the before and after picture of the kilometer reader on the dashboard before I tested the car with the 46k fuel I bought, few moments after the mechanics were done working on It.

Modified : I'm trying to upload pictures of the dashboard, before and after and also the nozzle, injectors, plugs that was changed, but seems the size is too big, I'm having difficulties uploading them.

I think fuel is leaking out of the vehicle

Take the car to a good car mechanic who can check the tank, fuel rails and even the nozzles for leaks

Even if you disconnect all the car's oxygen sensors, maf sensors and even straight pipe the exhaust, it should not consume 40 litres in 18km...that's almost 2 litres per km..

Driving isn't by who is this or who is that..the days wey you drive go come safely, you are a good driver at those times..d day you no come back while driving, driving has shown you that no one on earth is a perfect driver.

EducationRe: Does Food Influence A Child's IQ Development? by thiefnubu(m): 7:51pm On Sep 10, 2024
A child's intelligence and retentive memory is mostly influenced by genetics..

Some kids are gifted from birth, irrespective of what they are fed..while some kids are born to be "average", no matter what

Besides intelligence is multi dimensional..while some kids are book smart, some are just born politicians, sports men, artisans, criminal masterminds, etc

So remembering or not remembering what is taught is not a definite measure of intelligence

WeddingParol:
Critical thinking is seriously lacking in this country.

If the picture he displayed is the father's vehicle, that was an head-on collusion.

That Danfo you saw there is a raw iron, anything that could make it deformed that way is not a minor accident.

Also, there was no way he could have ran away successfully in that condition with the vehicle that people wouldn't hold him down.

To crown it all, the tribalism statement seems like a way to gather sympathy particularly from bigots.

Please pardon my bluntness.
Mr Critical thinker, if you had looked properly before jumping to conclusion, you would have seen that the Danfo Photo was clearly labelled 'file Photo", meanig that it's not the vehicle in question, but was lifted off a previous news page for illustration.

Secondly, the Facebook page where the op copied the news from has its link right there on the article..but instead of you to quickly go to that page to check if that danfo picture is there as well and is stated to be the actual vehicle, you decided to critically think yourself into the bush, forming Sherlock Holmes on nonsense.

Thirdly a simple image reverse search, which will take you less than a minute, will have shown that that danfo pictire was used by guardian newspapers to report a totally different traffic accident

Its people like you that will set question for themselves and answer their own question instead of answering what the examiner wants answered..When you get your fully merited F9, you start screaming victimization, not knowing that you highly overrate your intelligence.

Image 1..meaning of file photo
Image 2.. Screenshot of Guardian news link carrying that Danfo Photo

Why will I be bothered about the sharing of porn magazine by someone who walked into the church ?

It will even enable me as a Pastor to know which of my members are into porn...

Nevertheless you should know that Portable has no right to slap that Pastor. Also know that as long as the Pastor is doing God's business that is not a problem.
There is time for everything.
Since he is doing God's work, he should walk into a mosque in the core North and preach..

Religion doesn't give you any right to interfere in other people's association and relaxation...

How did he spoil his business?

Maybe Portable should have put a sign on the wall of his business premises telling the public that he does not want people who preach to come and disrupt his business.....
Don't be silly

How would you feel if someone entered your church during service hours and started distributing porn to you and your church members?

Would you still say that your church should have put a sign saying that distribution of porn in its premises is banned?

He is lucky sef that Portable didn't beat him into a coma...the same Nigerian Constitution that guarantees freedom of Religion is the same Constitution that guarantees freedom of association...

Its been a while i visited nairaland and i decided to visit today and check the auto section and boom! I see RIP GAZZUZZ!
MY heart raced and i felt a cold sensation while processing this news. I feel terribly sad on his demise.

I was privileged to meet gazzuzz a few times some years back. We met through a group chat then before we became friends and met in person.
We had drinks together whenever we met at ogba or Ikeja and i remember how he always buy shawama to bribe his "madam" as he fondly calls his wife when we stayed out late and she starts calling.

He was very kind and one of the most honest person I met in my life. He helped me financially whenever i told him i was broke "oya send aza sharp sharp" as he will say. He gave me great advice and offered to change the engine of my 406 for free when the engine knocked and fix my car for free whenever it developed issues.
I was looking forward to seeing him when next I come to Nigeria but hearing about his death was a big blow to me.

He was fearless and adventurous and a very good driver. He can drive and travel at anytime. I was once texting him and he told me he was driving and texting coming from Jos I think to lagos. I told him to be careful driving at such high speed and chatting on phone. I never knew accident would claim his life one day even though i learnt he didn't drive but had the accident when he took a public bus back to lagos after he delivered a vehicle out of lagos to a client.
He fought for his life but later succumbed to his injuries sadly.

God knows best and it was a great honor and privilege to meet gazzuzz in person and i wish i spent more time with him. May God grant his family the strength to bear his demise.
I will miss u 😢 I can't believe you're no more gazzuzz.
Who will call me "DSS MAN" as you fondly call me. Rest on my friend 😢
Na part of wetin we dey talk be dis

Just wish the dead nigga a good rest and don't say things that will stain his memory

No one who wishes to live long texts and drives ...much less doing so at high speed... doesn't sound good no matter how one looks at it

May his Gentle soul rest

This is one death of someone who isn't my relation that actually made me cry

Such a brilliant and extremely promising person gone just like that...This guy was legit on his way to being one of the top four automobile dealers/Mechs in naija

This guy gave me free advice when I wanted to buy my first car in 2018, and also set me up with a buyer of a car I posted for sale here, all without requesting or collecting a dime...

I detested after market CNG installations in vehicles, of which he was a very strong advocate for. And I never wasted any opportunity to put it to him with all my muscle, while sometimes attacking his person inadvertently in the process..

But he never reciprocated the insults, and instead took pains to explain to me his position and at most, ignored me and my bad bele. He was very focused and also very peaceful...

May God give his family the fortitude to bear this very painful loss...
