FTBOY:if you can't use your 'real' age on a 'reality' show, then you have no business being called 'real'. lemme stop there before peeps ask me if I've seen his birth certificate. lol You don't like TBoss at all. fair enough. I don't really like her too. but I developed a soft spot for her due to the hate from the 'real people' she actually had a lot of annoying behaviours. quite immature for her age. and it was obvious her previledged background gave her a sense of entitlement. funny enough, I think she was a bit 'real'. because, she could have hidden those defects while on the show. but she didn't. |
FTBOY:Lol. Nigerians and this 'real' stuff sef efe didn't even use his 'real' age. the guy is claiming 24. and bisola hardly lets u guys see her real face. make-up to the rescue. in fact, its almost impossible to stay true to yourself when you know there's a camera recording every move you make. every word you utter. make una forget this 'real' stuff joor |
igwebuike01:no deceit. its obvious that most of our states are not doing well. the governors just sit back and wait for handouts from Abuja. IGR is nothing to write home about. maybe you reacted to the 'south-west' in my post tho. but I was only pointing out that I've not left my comfort zone for some time. its not abt politics or ethnicity or tribe. the problem is general. even states in the south west like Oyo,osun, ondo and ekiti have to do more. |
Fifthcolumnist:Its all good the IGR of most of our states is not up to 10% of the allocation they get from the FG. This coupled with the 'usual' poor governance issues is why I'm of the opinion that most states are not viable. I'm an accountant and I consult for businesses. audit and tax consultancy. my firm is a start up, so I target small businesses. overtime, I have come to realize that majority of these businesses are in Lagos and Ogun. I once went to Enugu with a friend in 2015. stayed in emene, just opposite the airport for like a month. and I liked the town. serene and calm. no hassle. the governor was very popular. ive forgotten his name now. but his nickname was gburugburu. lol But we found it hard to get clients. the few businesses around already had their own consultants. most believed they were not making enough to be able to afford the luxury of consultancy. Very frustrating. so I had to come back home. I think its easier for traders tho Hope you can see it from my perspective now |
Fifthcolumnist:I didn't say nothing happens outside the southwest. I only said I have not been outside the southwest in a year. when I said other states have to do better. I was reffering to all states apart from Lagos, including other states in the south west. in fact, I believe the only states that come close to being self sufficient are Lagos,Ogun, rivers and maybe kano. I'm not uninformed. rather, you failed to comprehend my post. due to your biased preconception. and I still insist that other states still have a long way to go. by the way, I have been to Enugu, aba, PH, Abuja, kano, kebbi and makurdi in the past. its just that there's not enough in most of these places to lure people back. that was my point the way you jumped on the south west part makes me think you're one of the tribal warlords here on NL |
Fifthcolumnist:I think it's beyond NYSC. I for one have not left the southwest for about a year now. and I am someone who enjoys travelling The issue is that there has been absolutely no reason for me to go to the east or north for a year now. No reason The other states need to buck up their ideas. they need to become economically viable first. Then people will be attracted to these states. a bit of tourism will help too. |
The fact that the Lagos Abeokuta road isn't on the list is laughable. this road runs along alimosho local govt (the biggest LG in Nigeria in terms of population). The road is always busy...every day of the year. A five minute drive from tollgate to Ikeja can take up to an hour...even on a Sunday. Most of the other roads on the list are usually busy around festive periods. |
kelsidengkucio:wow! thanks a lot help me send to thinkative90@gmail.com |
kelsidengkucio:I've not. Been trying to lay my hands on it for years now If the movie is ranked the best ever made, I won't be surprised. I'm not a fan of prison movies so I was sceptical at first. But within a few mins, I realized this was different! |
RevolverOcelot:Bro, u no suppose quote the whole trash nau. the gabbage is now on all three pages of this thread. Me wey never get light since Oct 2016... e dey do me like say make I place curse on the guy |
Senipapa:don't doubt it. the movie touched me to the depth of my soul... |
kelsidengkucio:I have watched Shawshank redemption like 10 times. I will take the Andy and Red characters to my grave. favourite lines: warden Norton: Lord. its a miracle. man up and vanished like a fart in the wind Andy: remember red, hope is a good thing. maybe the best of things. and no good things ever die. red: I had like to think that the last thing that went through his head, other than that bullet, was to wonder how the hell Andy Dufresne ever got the best of him Lol |
Emeskhalifa:you would be surprised |
Emeskhalifa:lol. everything is not about efe bally is the son of a late senator from kano. elite northerners have been voting for him like its a governorship election |
southpole:so getting punch drunk at every opportunity appeals to you northerners. am I missing something? |
OP, how did you guys get to Ogun state from ondo without going through Oyo/Osun states? I'm confused |
tellwisdom:Platinum lounge, Spices lounge and 2nite club are popular night spots in Enugu. Orange room and 40/40 are well known in owerri too. Is it afonjas that patronize those clubs? In fact, owerri is popular for its night life, hotels and runs girls. There is a strip lounge at topten arcade on nnamdi azikiwe road in umuahia. if these establishments aren't making tons of money every weekend, they would have packed up. or are you going to claim its the Yoruba's that are crossing the Niger to patronize them? Stop turning everything into a chance to show your bigotry. |
masonkz:Sorry to burst your bubble, but most peeps watched the show basically for the philandering. You can easily deduce from the 'reactions' after the parties compared to the 'reactions' after the tasks. parties, truth or dare games and even diary sessions were more popular than the tasks. if viewers voted based on how well housemates did at the tasks, TTT would still be in the house. So YES, its the philandering, kisses, bedtime gropings, suckling of boobs, partying and drunken acts that made the show interesting. maybe you found the tasks more interesting tho..... |
masonkz post=5t dpn4804578:Lol I don't even understand where you are coming from the obvious truth is that if he had come out clean about his marriage and avoided all the girls on the show, you all would have called him a boring old papa and he wouldn't have lasted this long. He gave the viewers what they wanted - controversy and sex. unfortunately for him, it wasn't enough. Simple! |
PatriotTemidayo:Good, let him go face the music behind closed doors in their house. I want there when they tied the knot. next! |
masonkz:they are all lying and acting for you guys. its a game. you can't be urself with cameras shadowing your every move 24/7 he lied about being single. and so what? I wouldn't be surprised if he already discussed it with the wife beforehand considering the money at stake |
masonkz:they are all lying and acting for you guys. its a game. you can't be urself with cameras shadowing your every move 24/7 he lied about being single. and so what? I wouldn't be surprised if he already discussed it with the wife beforehand. |
good for them let's watch as Nigerians react to this like the chemicals we are. matters of national importance - show apathy and complain. other people's private matters - press p, poke nose and turn adviser. |
nice back in it! 2-2

shhladyj:lol. he was very strict. the fear of babasanya was the beginning of wisdom back then . he would give some senior students a piece of paper with 'wanted by the principal' written on it. if you offend, they would flash the paper at u like it was police ID.lol. na to start pissing for body oo |
babyfaceafrica:Good morning principal. Good morning teachers. good morning friends. good morning enemies. Lol |
khalifahsparkles:Part hypocrisy. Part lazy thinking I'm sorry to derail explorers thread a bit, but this has to be done because its quite annoying to see people misunderstand and misconstrue Islam. Those pictures you find 'disgusting' have very little to do with Islam. we shouldn't confuse tradition with religion. Arabs of all religions - Muslims, Jews and Christians wear hijab, not just because of religion, but because of tradition. Actually, North African Tuaregs are known for their culture where men cover their hair instead of women. Islam preaches Modesty, Yes! Those women are Muslims, Yes! Is their own form of modesty enforced on them by Islam? Hell No! You may find the act disgusting. but don't always jump blindly into conclusion and say Islam is oppressing women. Here are the verses in the Quran that address the issue of dressing for women. Read and be educated Q 24:31 and tell the believing women to lower some of their gaze and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which necessarily appears thereof and to wrap a portion of their head covers over their bosoms and not expose their adornments except to their husbands, their fathers, sons, father's sons, their brothers, brother's sons, sister's sons, their women..... Q 33:59 O prophet, tell your wives, your daughters and the wives of the believers that they shall lengthen their garments. This is better so that they will be recognized and not molested. God is forgiver. Merciful Q 24:60 The elderly women who no longer anticipate marriage commit no errors by relaxing their dress code, provided they do not flaunt their adornments, but to abstain from doing so would be better for them. God is hearer. knowledgeable |
