Business / Re: Is 200k Enough For Someone To Quit His Job? by thithi(f): 1:25pm On Sep 08, 2009 |
For health reason, i will advice you to take some time off and take care of your health. 200K is not enuf to start biz, but look into pure water. |
Business / Re: Can 150k Be Manageable For Cyber Cafe by thithi(f): 1:22pm On Sep 08, 2009 |
For cybercafe, i dont think that will be enuf of a capital. Though, i am not sure of the cost of the ISP at present, but call some ISP provider and find out how much it will cost. However, The rent for a space alone will probably take all that money. Then, you will need some computers, monitors, printers, fax machine, some networking equipments and furnitures as well as some licencing for softwares. So i dont think that will be enuf. Dont know much about the ice block bz. |

knight4u: There is something called recession out there and Nigeria is not immune to it. temmytanny: Without his action, the bank might have collapsed and more would be out of job, it is called restructuring. Oluschenco: That is true, however, anyone that resulted into robbery cos of losing his/her job, must have always been a robber before, just never used the skill with guns. eunisam: Sack is cos they need to restructure and they need to tight their wallet, cos time of free money is over. They now realize that some of the expectations on the marketers are insane. Some of the people losing their jobs in Nigeria has always been unemployed"ly" employed, or how do u explain someone that has job and cant provide for his/her family, or those that dont even get paid for months? |

Soludo was just at the right place at the right time. Nothing in the economy of Nija shows that the naira will be valued high against $$ anytime soon. |

Seun: Nice response, never knew you were that smart from when i was blocked for nothing, but with this your response, i respect. There is a need to be sure they are fake marketers before they are banned/weeded out as suggested. |

I am not too sure though, but chances are that 300K will not be enuf. Cos the bride price alone aint cheap. Take this to the family section and you will get better response there. Also, the woman should be able to know the estimate of the cost. Good luck |

Business / Re: Micro Finance Loans-how To Apply by thithi(f): 4:18pm On Sep 07, 2009 |
You sounds like a marketer that works with/for a micro-finance bank, that is a great things, however, you forgot to mention, the rate. Cos i am sure the rate is out of the planet, and almost no fresh biz can survive on such rate. Imagine someone that took out a 1 million Naira to start a biz, Mr. A has used most of the money to buy equipments and pay for some services that is needed for the biz to start up and be alright. Now for a fresh biz, it will take some time for the biz to grow and be making money, could take time, so while the biz is growing and not really making money, then, how would he service the loan? I just wanna learn |
Business / Re: How Profitable Is Kerosene Business? by thithi(f): 4:12pm On Sep 07, 2009 |
d special: These are the kind of things that i think it is ridiculous and sounds fishy, if you have an idea about the biz, the meaning of a forum, is a place where everyone shares ideas, and not really where people just refer to their mail. 2 Likes |

Business / Re: How Much Did You Exchange The Dollar For Today? by thithi(f): 3:56pm On Sep 07, 2009 |
lawrencead: There is nothing for the CBn to stabilize $$against. The govt needs to make some decision to the best interest of the national economy. That being said, it is the plan of the CBN {govt} to make sure that the difference btw the official rate and the black market rate is not more than 2 - 3 Naira, cos of the people that are buying at official rate to only sell it to the people and make money, which i will not blame them, cos if i have the opportunity to do same, i would. |

Survey the market Find a reliable source of getting new products and what is not common in the market. Target your audience/clients. Price is right. Get a great location, that is accessible, secured and well decorated/neat. Have promos. Network Happy sales |
Business / Re: Anyone Got Cheap Fairly Used Laptops For Sale? by thithi(f): 3:51am On Sep 06, 2009 |
I will never advice anyone to buy a used laptops, cos computer can develop a mind of its own at anytime, and how do you know you are buying something nice and not a liability. I will advice to actually get money and buy something reliable and brand new. buy an Acer, buy a gateway, buy asus sef, and leave the dead used laptops alone. If you need a brand new laptop, america specs, although what i called cheap might not be cheap to you sha. |
Car Talk / Re: V4 And V6 Engines - Why Nigerians are Running Away From V6? by thithi(f): 3:46am On Sep 06, 2009 |
german007: In a 4-cylinder engine, there are four pistons rising and falling in four chambers. A 6-cylinder engine features six pistons and produces a theoretical 50% more power than the same 4-cylinder engine. While a 4-cylinder engine might hesitate when you press on the gas, a 6-cylinder will tend to be more responsive, with greater get-up-and-go. The 4-cylinder engine is standard in smaller cars, as the relatively light weight of the vehicle makes it an economical choice with plenty of power for average motoring needs. Many models include a 6-cylinder engine upgrade option. More cylinders equal more power when comparing the same engine models. If deciding between a 4 and 6-cylinder engine on a new vehicle, there are a few considerations. The smaller engine will be less expensive and should get slightly better gas mileage, {just on gas}. The disadvantage of a 4 cylinder is a lack of power that might factor in more for commuters and travelers. For hilly or mountainous areas, the 6-cylinder engine would likely be a better choice Would u want more? 2 Likes |

V6 all the way, you feel the power, the performance and you are in control. 4 cylinder is just better on gas, but wont trade performance for gas |
