Education › Re: Students Protest Over ASUU Strike In Ibadan (Photos) by Thomasankara(m): 11:33am On May 04, 2022
Oogway:
It is very sad that the minister of State for Education and the Labor minister (the two ministries primarily responsible for ending the ASUU Strike) alongside the Incumbent Vice President would have the effrontery to vie for the office of President when Millions of Nigerian youth lie ideal at home wasting their lives and years. As a point of reference it’ll take the highest paid professor in a Government university 20yrs to earn a net salary of 100million naira. Yet these ministers pay 100m as though it’s chicken fee so why shouldn’t lecturer’s demand better.

Also I blame the ASUU President for not being proactive, for being too laid back and not employing young minds to help in their agitation. ASUU is too laid back, the President should be on every television station and top social media pages like @instablog, etc telling the world how these individuals don’t deserve to vie for any office when they’ve failed to resolve the current educational crises which is their primary responsibility. It’s not enough to down tools and go home to sleep, these people want something, they’ve an ambition, threaten their ambitions and watch them settle ASUU ASAP. ASUU leadership is old and naive and don’t want to employ young brains to enable them use social media to their advantage.

P. S During General elections these same lecturers are the people politicians use to rig elections for themselves so why are they complaining of bad leadership when they rigged the leadership into power
ASUU na scam
If only you know a bit of the story below....

We can never forget the covenant between OBJ, His Father, His Church and that Igbo Man back then in Abeokuta.

A story that happened almost 80 years ago.

God will forever keep his promises and words on the life of a man/woman.

A touching, emotional and unheard of story.

God bless all the people involved.

100% True.
That is why he is God.
He keeps his promise forever and ever.
Same obasanjo that said that had it been he was born in the north, he would have been a muslim

Bros, I am a teacher in an elite A-Level college and I tell you, if I come to this world 100 times , I would be a teacher..

The perks of teaching in my institution?

6-figure salaries

Paid annual leave

Excellent lunch and breakfact

Salaries paid promptly by 26th of every month

School sponsored professional and self-development trainings nationally and internationally

13th-month salaries

Full payment of salaries even during 2 months of lockdown, ( with palliatives)

Approachable Executive Director ( God bless Mrs FKA)

Excellent welfare services for staff from junior to senior..

Nice accommodation for staff who live far

Flexible working time ( both online or physical) especially for a woman like me

I have lost count of so many online teaching professional diplomas my institution has paid for in Euros and dollars

The list is endless

I am not in a perfect place, but our complains are very very few..

Bros, teaching is the best if you are in a good and thriving school

Best wishes to all
Name of the school please

"The UN official is likely to visit the facility where 50k Boko Haram ex members reside"

Terrorism has eaten deep into this country...

Even the expatriates know a lot about this shit....

Na only God go save us...
Exactly my thought, so these people know more than we the citizens, they have first hand information about every happening. Even a Nigerian wouldn't dare visit 1,000 repentant terrorists, not to talk of 50000,I guess whenever they want to entertain themselves, they tune into channel Nigeria and call the citizens idiots, that's is why breaking this country will be very hard, the imperialists have a lot of stake in it. Anyone who wants to get freedom, should attack U. N first. The insurgency in the country is their brain child to occupy the citizens, so that they will not be freed from mental slavery.
