RomanceRe: Are Nigerian Women Really Against Polygamy? by Thomasankara(m): 2:19pm On Aug 06, 2023
is it May that rejected Yul or Yul rejected her,for all I know Yul treated her with disdain and less attention, and placed the other lady as priority over her, if Yul is interested in her and reach armistice with her to share the matrimonial bed and take responsibility of her and the children,it is constant that she will come back
Jovialjune1:
Only on nairaland you'd see so called guys crying on behalf of Nigerian women everyday, how exactly do you know what we secretly like and don't like? Are celebrities the basis to determine what all Nigerian women love? The fact that some tolerate cheating doesn't mean all of us will, an example is May.

Davido and Tuface had baby mamas before their wives married them, so they accepted it

Regina married a Muslim and a polygamous man and she is cool with it

May married Yul with no agreement of choosing the polygamous lifestyle, so he secretly cheated with Judy, a married woman with 2 kids, she divorced her own husband to become a proper side chick to Yul, she became pregnant and gave birth, that was when Yul decided to secretly pay bride price without his family and father knowing about it, he only came to spill the beans when gistlover threatened to spill it all, May knew of it all same as all of us, in public, Yul never wanted May to know anything, so how does Yul qualify as a polygamous man? She never accepted that lifestyle that's why she filed for divorce

With May's example, doesn't that tell you not all Nigerian women will accept that useless polygamous lifestyle?

Im afraid the way teenage girl and young ladies running after Married men these days, I think parents and religion houses should rise up in doing orientation.

Gone are the days as near as late 90s that young girls see married men as plagues, but now they are the one pushing them to Married men.

Indeed life is dynamic

Nazgul:
Nigerian women worship money. As long as you have lots and lots of it, they won't mind being your 20th wife.

Most of them attacking 2face, would happily spread their legs for him if the opportunity presents itself not minding that he's a married man, but would attack and blame him for sleeping with other women.

I saw a post on a popular Facebook group I belong to where someone asked "would you prefer a wealthy womanizer or a faithful broke husband". I was shocked when more than 90% of the replies from the females said they would go for the wealthy womanizer. That what do they want with a broke faithful husband. Who faithfulness help.

Our girls are just hypocrites that's all. They crucify married men for womanizing, but would openly agree to marry a womanizer provided he's financially loaded. Thus encouraging him to continue womanizing.

To your question Nigerian women are not against polygamy, they're infact the major facilitators of polygamy.

na lie hunger don reset most women brain for southern Nigeria now, all the perfect family philosophy have gone down the drain. People wey Destiny Etiko and Blessing CEO be their role models na eem u dey tell these? The only exception to it are the career women and those doing exceedingly well that seems to make selective choices these days
pansophist:
Women are individuals.

Some will not support polygamy, while some will. I also noticed that those that supports polygamy tends to be Muslims.

For example I've talked with lots of Gambian ladies, and they don't mind being the second, or third, or fourth wife, as far the marriage is in accordance with sharia law.

Polygamy is legal in Gambia, and even the present president is a polygamist. Also, Gambia is an islamic country. In northern Nigeria, polygamy is a norm.

But as a man, you will never be in shortage of women that will do defacto polygamy with you even in the USA, if you're very wealthy. Polygamy is not for the poor.

so northerners are your problem, you did not see someone that destroyed the regional government and opted for unitary, just because his region couldn't catch up with other regions and wanted the whole regions to operate at par,is that not greed? Out of the many 6 geopolitical zones in Nigeria, you chose to identify me as a northerner because you think I didn't align with your philosophy. Well if that makes you happy so be it.

Bubu4Sea:
Becos he did not go about shedding blood, he himself was now murdered?
That means to you he was instrumental to what he stopped?

U must be a Northerner.

Don't worry a shifting is coming to Africa.

When Nigeria breaks, we shall see what really goes on.
You Northerners will be free to kill urselfs as that's what ur accustomed to.
na scam there must be unwritten agreement between him and kaduna to hand over power to him, that was why kaduna did not consider him as threat. Na politics Dem just play out there

and never imprisoned the culprit is that not injustice,it shows he was instrumental in the grand plot and gave ideas to kaduna Nzeogwu, maybe he was not bold enough to execute it himself,he had to come through a junior officer. If not in military the seniors always take the fall when juniors execute coup

Druggie Ebola Tinubu wants to get the favour of the Western world, with the hope it will legitimize his fraudulent INEC Presidency.

So he is willing to help the French keep Niger Republic & Africa in general improvised just to get favour.

The French are trying to get ebola Tinubu to invade for the benefit of France.

The same way they killed Patrick Lumumba for trying to make things better for Congo.

The same way they killed Aguiyi Ironsi for trying to keep Nigerias wealth for Nigerians

Same way they killed Gadaffi for trying to make things better for Africans

The same way they killed Thomas sankara for trying to make things better of Bukna Faso

They want to remove the guys in Niger Republic becos they want their resources for Nigeriens

Africa is getting its independence bit by bit.

Once Nigeria becomes free we will break & be free of this evil marriage, so the south can prosper & the North becomes Boko Haramistan
But Aguiyi Ironsi was right for imprisoning and killing people?. The coup in Niger is even bloodless now.

PoliticsRe: What If Niger Blocks The River Niger Flow To Nigeria Dam? by Thomasankara(m): 5:55pm On Aug 05, 2023
I think Nairaland should be a forum whereby myths and conjectures are demystified, I keep wondering why nonsensical posts keep hitting the page these days. Op it would be more sensible had it been the topic was, what if the Niger government decides to create her own dam, will it affect the flow of water into the kainji dam? Having said that, does Niger has the financial muscle to execute such project for now?
PoliticsRe: What If Niger Blocks The River Niger Flow To Nigeria Dam? by Thomasankara(m): 5:44pm On Aug 05, 2023
even Nigeria cannot block the flow of the river, considering the enormity of the current. Kainji dam is not a swimming pool, but artificially controlled large mass of water along the river to generate electricity
aklid:
Let them block it, we have other dams
And are diversifying ways to generate electricity
We have more resources to do so than them
