MalcoImX:Don't mind them! Nigerians are corrupt that's why! Most of their wealth is not from a legal source that's why they are all afraid! Buhari said he was going to fight corruption and that's what he is doing! |
project8:Why chicken out? Have you heard of the word whistleblower? ![]() Let me not waste my time with you! ![]() |
Liberty90:Is Buhari a billionaire? I didn't know that! Tell me more. Do you know how many middle class parents in Nigeria whose children school abroad? Your comparison shows you lack simple analysis. Studying abroad is no big deal! |
MosesNG:Thank you sir Some people's foolishness stinks! They keep supporting evil because of their blind hate for Buhari and sadly these are tongue speaking Christians hating. I wonder what is being preached in churches these days. They habour so much hatred for the President such that no matter what he does, they will still hate! I can tell you that man hasn't seen Ben Bruce before. |
erusen:Not everyone is as silly as you guys. Ben Bruce has been tweeting about how to run the cou try with just common sense and yet he can't run a common company. I may or may not have but I'm won't criticise someone else for not doing well if I'm not doing well. It's not a matter of having or not having a company. Some of you need to have your certificates torn and burn for failing comprehension! ![]() |
So the common sense senator cannot even run a common company yet he wants to tell President Buhari how to run Nigeria ![]() |
project8:So if the EFCC and CBN didn't notice how come is in the media? Some of you always want to sound intelligent but end up showing your ignorance. Do you work in the EFCC or CBN? |
Liberty90:Your ignorance stinks! How did Akpabio become a billionaire if not a trillionnaire? Does he have an industry? What does he do for a living? Please don't make that silly mistake of adding thieves to hardworking wealthy people. Why should anyone fear if your wealthy is clean and you can prove it? |
Now the Niger Delta Avengers if truly they are concerned about the common man should know where to direct their fight to. Niger Delta leaders... For those of you saying it's a lie, I just pity you that's all I'll say for now. ![]() You keep crying and wailing everyday about the economy and at the same time supporting people who are destroying the economy; is that not foolishness? Continue wailing.... |
Barely 24 hours after news broke that the EFCC has frozen the personal account of Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, former Akwa Ibom State Governor and Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio who is currently being investigated by the EFCC over allegations of embezzlement of public funds and looting of over #2.7 trillion from the coffers of the Akwa Ibom State Government hurriedly withdrew #17.4 billion from his bank accounts. The withdrawals were made simultaneously in Abuja, Lagos and Uyo the Akwa Ibom State capital. The money were withdrawn from Akpabio’s account in Zenith, Stanbic IBTC and GTB. An aide of the Secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Government (SSG) coordinated the Uyo withdrawal, an associate of the former Governor handled the Lagos withdrawals while a senior legislative aide at the office of the Senate Minority Leader took charge of the Abuja withdrawals. Investigation by our reporter reveals the withdrawals were done within a period of four hours. Also, fear, panic, anxiety and apprehension was visible in Ukana, Akpabio’s ancestral hometown as an emergency meeting of Akpabio’s immediate family was summoned secretly on Tuesday night at the Ukana country home of Senator Akpabio, just hours upon receiving the news of the freezing of the bank account of the Governor of Ekiti State. Sources privy to the meeting confided in our reporter that the likelihood of the EFCC freezing the accounts of other members of the Akpabio dynasty was also discussed. A visibly shaken family member was alleged to have faulted Akpabio’s call for the immunity clause to be extended to principal members of the National Assembly, insisting that apart from compelling the anti graft agencies to beam more searchlight on Akpabio, his advocacy is capable of instigating a more aggressive investigation on the finances of Akwa Ibom State from 2007-2015, especially coming at a time Akpabio’s former finance commissioner and colleague in the Senate, Senator Bassey Albert is also asking for amnesty to all who have looted the state treasury. A cousin to the Senate Minority Leader who benefitted from several contracts running into billions of Naira when Akpabio was Governor was said to have been cold and sober all through the meeting and hurriedly cancelled his trip to Dubai. He was initially billed to travel to the emirate country with his family. The meeting which lasted for more than three hours was also attended by a regional manager of one of the new generation banks in Uyo. http://www.thekillerpunch.com/efccs-freezing-fayoses-account-akpabio-withdraws-17-4billion-zenith-stanbic-gtb-accounts/ |
egopersonified:Wow... I'm so proud of you. I really like the way you reason. What you said is actually true. The era of going to school to graduate and get a job is gone! The era we live in demands innovative thinking and creativity! |
You are very correct! An average Nigeria youth complains a lot and believes that he or she shouldn't do anything but wait to be spoon fed by the government. In as much as the government has its own responsibilities, times have changed, the economy is growing tighter by the day so expecting goodies from the government is not what will happen soon. I also think that youths because lazy because the last regime really gave out money to people for doing nothing and so most youths are not used to working for themselves rather they are used to be being given money for doing nothing, I mean nothing. They are lots of millionaires from the last administration who got their millions from doing absolutely nothing as such youth is really against the FG fight against corruption, because they realise that they need to make refunds to the FG. Good thinking Sir ![]() |
I just wanted that FTC seat that's all! Read my comments below ![]() |
Wailers won't be happy to read this ![]() No matter how much they try to bring Buhari down, he keeps rising... ![]() More is coming! By the time the N power takes off eh... Nigerians as usual will start saying something else... ![]() |
Wailers won't be happy to read this ![]() |
Udom is a scam and an impostor, Akwa Ibom people did not vote for him! Akwa Ibom is now a state with no direction yet instead of focusing to govern, he is all over the place with his sychophants spreading propaganda of industrialization. The transition committee that are about to be sacked were very useless. All of them did nothing even to sweep the streets. The streets are now very dirty and most of them do not even go to work. They all relocated to Uyo from their Local Government Councils. It's a shame that Akwa Ibom is part of a state that is looking for bailout, a state that used to get between N20bn - N30bn every month during the oil boom all thanks the trickster of uncommon transformation, Godswill Akpabio. He made most people in Nigeria to believe that Akwa Ibom was 'okay', so what suddenly happened? Another set of compensation on the way because the new council charimen will still do nothing! |
Itoroetti:Who is stopping you from wailing... Go ahead and wail ![]() Meanwhile, I'm blaming everyone including the government at various levels; Federal, State and Local. Go and farm and stop expecting food from the FG alone, what are you and the state and LG doing? ![]() |
Where is the University? I only see Kachikwu with villagers or are those the students? I'm confused her, show me the University. ![]() |
yaki84:Well I'm not here to exchange words with unserious complainers like you. You can keep on complaining about government not spending money on the importation of rice etc I won't open a thread to tell people to be industrious when I'm not myself. People like you are not progressive or inspiring. To me your comment is as useless as my shit in the toilet because immediately I get up I just flush the shit away ![]() Totally useless!... ![]() |
Y |
deji15:Thank you for your observation. I wish the mods will get the thread to front page. I see miles and miles of uncultivated lands even in the villages. At a time like this, if we have more food supply then the hardship would have been much lighter. Let's be industrious guys, those countries we are expecting food from are very industrious before they can feed our large population and making money too from our being lazy. Let's start eating healthy foods with preservatives ![]() |
newbornmacho:Come lover boy, we dey talk farming and food you dey talk love. Na love she go chop? ![]() You no go go find land begin farm before you come dey talk love here... ![]() |
Earth2Metahuman:Seriously, you been go school and you been dey attend lectures and also dey lisyten to your lecturers. Good boy! Bank will now have to reduce their interest rate and lend money to businesses because free government money is not here again. ![]() |
mikolo80:If the LGAs get their allocations straight to their coffers from FG, elections to the councils will be interesting and good candidates will contest and development can really be micro managed at that level. |
mikolo80:What do the various Agricultural agencies of government doing sef? It's only FG that you will hear talking of farmers, the LG don't do anything concerning farming. We need more farmers to give us more food instead of crying about the high price of imported food! |
mikolo80:Hahaha... Some banks dividend can be embarrassing. imagine getting 37 kobo You are right, more cooperatives need to take up farming and stop discussing politics ![]() |
cindybella101:For me, I can make do with subsistence farming but to overcome this food shortage, then huge amounts of money needs to be invested. Some Nigerians who steal money and keep abroad should bring it back and invest in agriculture. There has to be food. Government too at all levels should give out loans to small farmers to become big as well! You can't imagine how large the farm I always dream of having. I just want to cultivate one LGA out of the 774 LGAs in Nigeria only me. ![]() |
einst3in:I wonder people complain of foreign rice being expensive when there is local rice. ![]() If you must eat rice, eat Abakaliki rice forget Thailand rice if you can't afford it ![]() Better still, grow your own. ![]() |
mikolo80:yes, I agree but it will take a very long time as far as farming is concerned. We need large scale farmer. From 1000 hectres up... |
chimah3:That's nice! Kudos to your parents, but you know that's just one in a million. Selfishness and greed has taken up everywhere. |
mikolo80:It's sad! People that have money to invest in agriculture prefer it to liein their accounts while they cry for lack of food! People with money need to tap into that huge market! |
punditogwo: ![]() That's funny! There's no wisdom in it! |
