Yes.
But then I have seen the hoohaa of some ladies and it looks so tattered.
I don't know if it is lack of circumcision or due to too much sex.
Women have different shapes of the hoohaa. It's usually not because of lack of circumcision or too much sex. It's similar to having different shapes of the mouth.
Childbirth and age however affect the shape with time.

Thank yousmiley
She says Hi

She sounded so sure of the dusting powder ish.
She's sure in her ignorance.
On the flip side, there are some chemicals in talcum powder that has been linked to cervical cancer.

The clitoris is the most sensitive part of a woman reproductive organs and is responsible for most women's orgasm. It's the reason some ethnic groups cut it to reduce a woman's sensitivity.
Family › Re: Using Dusting Powder As An Alternative To Circumcision Of Female Infants by thorpido(m):
Your own hoohaa wasn't touched as a child, was it?
I don't see any relationship between dusting powder and it's effect on c.lit.It definitely doesn't kill cells there.

Promiscuity to a great extent has to do with knowledge, exposure and lack of training. As a child grows(boy or girl),he/she is made aware of the changes in the body and the effects.Self restraint and sexual education/safe sex is also taught.

Congrats on the birth of your LO.

She posted pix of another man calling him her "boo of life", so I guess my instinct was right that she did that just to draw him back to her once she found out he had married me without her knowledge..initially he was ignoring all phone calls, etc even when I wasn't around..wasn't even really replying to her text or anything..but once she did that, all the sudden he's picking up her calls, etc..*sigh* I'm not dumb..just a hurting woman..we "fall for this stuff", cos of the treatment..the going over & beyond to provide no matter what. The times I ask for something, he gets it PLUS more if possible..the standard treatment we're supposed to be getting versus these American men treating us like trash..the cold part, he just had to be honest..I would've helped cos I've worked with many Nigerian men & seen the struggle to bring their families & the admiration & respect that I have for the culture in general..so please don't call me..I'm just a very attached woman that's hurting..
Keep talking to your hubby about the issue.Be smart to follow up on communication between them to know what's going on.
Most importantly, hold off getting pregnant now until your are most assured of your husband's commitment to your marriage.

No one is catching the story. SHe's got 4 daughters, the 5th child a boy died. She adopted a boy, but the husband is not interested in the adopted child and want his own BLOOD. Ivf can choose the Sex of the baby so all they need is a surrogate to carry the new heir. I don't think IVF clinic allow u to meet your surrogate, so they want to choose their own to make sure the baby is a fine boy. Wala
The baby will look like the parents. It has nothing to do with the looks of the surrogate.

Family › Re: What I Noticed Among Pre-teens And Teens In My Area by thorpido(m): 1:48pm On Nov 24, 2016
Sadly Op,that's the situation in many homes. The boys are out playing football or generally hanging out while the girls stay indoors learning to cook or manage a house.

When it's time to marry,it's these untrained boys that will be available.

Op,you stay in Festac?

Op,are you African American?
Family › Re: Just Some Objective Advice.. by thorpido(m): 9:54am On Nov 24, 2016
Yous should have asked all these questions first like the person above me said.

Are you African American Op?What you need to do is hold off getting pregnant now and use the next few months to evaluate your marriage.Families cover up for their children as you have observed so you'll need to be a good inspector gadget and make your findings.

Your husband might actually have a 'wife' back home.
Family › Re: Any Same AS Couples In The House? by thorpido(m): 5:16pm On Nov 23, 2016
merahki:
Hi...the chances of a both-AS couple have a child with SS is 25%....or one quarter, if I remember my genetics well ....and this probability/chance is for each pregnancy
Then, giving birth to a child who is AA ...25% too
Child with AS....50%
Because each chance is for each pregnancy, if a couple has four kids...it does not mean one would be AA, one SS and the remaining two would be AS....they could have all four as AA, all four being AS, all four being SS....or 3 SS, one AA, 3SS, one AS, and so on
It does not depend on the number of children....

In summary......there could be that extremely lucky couple who may have their desired number of kids without any having SCD....but the reverse could be the case too....25 percent SS.. In in 4, for each pregnancy....

But well to do couples who both carry the sickling gene can have tests pre-conception to know the genotype of their foetus....and can decide to terminate every pregnancy with SS foetuses and carry to term and be delivered of the healthy ones- AS, AA
This costs money though, and then there is the issue of the "sinfulness" of this to consider

So we have a trifecta of issues associated with AS vs AS marriages viz
- the 25 percent chance of having SS for each pregnancy. Having one SS child does not guarantee that the next wont be an SS....remember sicle cell crises people, heartbreaking to see.....the respiratory problems, the anaemia, the bone pain, the death, the strain and stress on family, and more cry
- the high cost and possible unavailability of pre-conception tests
- the ethical/ morality considerations - abortion, guilt, blame, etc

It costs less than a thousand naira to get a genotyping....at least it did before June this year...
Most times, it is ignorance that makes people not go for genotyping....or more rarely to ignore the results
The second and arguably more dire reason is religion....some religious people praying it away lipsrsealed
We said the same thing dear,it's just the interpretation of the statement,'it depends on how many children they have'.
What I mean is that the more children they have, the higher the chances that they could have an SS child.
If they had just 2 kids, both might escape the sickle cell but if they have 5 children,it's unlikely that one will not be SS carrier.

You'll find a surrogate mother if you visit the clinics suggested.

The baby is usually not breastfed!!? Mhen, I don't think I would ever want to try this! Why would you not breast feed your baby or choose for the baby not to be breastfed?

Read(Red) all the plights of guys about women rejection. There's always a woman out there for every man. You just need to lower the qualities or standard you seek in a woman. No woman is ugly as long as you have little cash to tvsh her!
The surrogate mother usually gives up the child soon after birth. That means the baby can't get to breastfeed.
Sadly, not all babies get to breastfeed because the mothers fail to lactate,so the child has to be fed with formula.

I believe in both parents living together(married) and raising kids! But no one knows the Op's reasons for wanting to tow this route! But I'll advice the OP to date that lady and then marry her legally.

To the ladies that talked about fertility clinics and surrogacy......this question might be silly but I need to know; if he wants to go by this, then who breast feeds the baby? I understand someone donates egg and a surrogate caries the baby and delivers. Kinda confusing, can you ladies explain this better in a layman's language?

Thankyou
The baby is usually not breastfed. The child is fed with milk formula. In exceptional cases, you might find a nursing mother who is willing to breastfeed the baby.

Research well on it, If u're abt to get married to one. Also does ur partner know abt ur genotype?... I read somewhere last week abt a couple (both AS) they had healthy kids (I mean no SS) Pls talk to a medical practitioner on ur stand so u can know what u're abt to face.
@bolded,it's possible but rare.it also depends on how many kids they have.

@Op,if you're not married yet,it's not advisable.

Lai lai. No-one wants an extra mouth to feed in these times, especially a mouth attached to medical bills and requiring 24 hour care. His family and friends will descend on her with all the Pastors and Imams in this Nigeria, armed with enough Emotional Blackmail so that she forgives and keeps him with her. By the time they are done with her, they will have her crying and pleading for him to forgive her for neglecting him, which is why he cheated. They will convince her that it is the will of God, that to send him out is to condemn her and her kids to an awful life and hellfire. All to avoid having her pass the buck to them. That's the Nigerian way wink
She has to be a strong woman to handle this.It will be tough for her to abandon him.She surely will face pressure from all the people you mentioned.I pity her.
She might be forced to take care of the unborn child when it arrives.

were it to be a sin i trust the bible would have adequately mentioned it. remember the jews of the new testament trying to yoke the converted gentiles with the law of moses. it is worse when the sin coiner is a religious head. toothpaste is unnatural
Lol@toothpaste is unnatural.

Op,the bible doesn't address it.It would have been expressly stated if it was a grave sin.
It's religious people who imagine things and make doctrines out of it.
