Why tell your parents all the details of her past?It should be your own decision to accept that or not.

Now that your parents have know about it,they will have their reservations and rightly so.
If you can't get them on your side, maybe you should move on.

Good morning, please I need your advise, matured ones. I met my boyfriend early this year and before we started dating I asked him for his genotype which he told me was AA. But few weeks ago, we went for genotype test and found out that we were both AS. we tried four other places and it was still the same thing. My boyfriend is of the opinion that we continue with the relationship and go for PGD(Pre Implantation genetic diagnosis) but I am not convinced. I had been a victim of heartbreak several times and this guy seems to be the best man I have ever met. please advise me. no insult please. I just find it hard to end the relationship
You will still suffer heartbreak again when you have to deal with an SS child.

It's not enough for him to break up with her, worst thing that a man who likes a lady should do is make her earn your trust again, shikena!

Alot of situations like this occurred with ladies, and they stay put, as long as he meets their criteria for a life partner.
In this particular story all I see is a man who can't handle the truth of her once been married not the number of years she took to say it
I hear you.How do you keep that kind of info for 11months...not 11days?You read her say he said he's not sure what other things she might hide.
How do you make a man earn that trust again?

Ha shocked emabinu ma, I was just joking, how much be the salary sef, that's like chicken change to you grin

If you ask me though, I will advice you stop beating yourself about this and move on, I think it's better to be friends with someone before a relationship, that way you would be free to tell them awkward things.

And don't listen to people blaming you for not telling him for 11months,it ain't your fault too, at least you did before he put a ring on it, you needed to see what he wants from you, to me men like that can't handle the truth, and it's not only about you not telling him on time, he would
have still bounced if you had told him on your first date
It was still better to tell him from the start.Info like a previous marriage and having had a child are not things you keep away.Anyone that asks for a relationship should know this from the beginning.

Orabamxy52,move on.If this guy wanted you,he would have mentioned it when lasrt you met.He even said,'just-to-keep-in-touch' and that is weighty.
Please tell any guy you want to date that you had a previous marriage latest on the second date.Let him make up his mind what he wants early.

Lol but all doctors are physicians. I was thinking you were going to name another specialist department away from gynaecology
All doctors are physicians technically but doctors who have a speciality in internal medicine are more specifically called physicians.
In medical circles, when you say someone needs to see a physician, you are talking about a specialist in internal medicine.

Is the woman in question your relative?Did you really follow up on the case and you are abreast with the treatment plan the woman is on?

Please don't just assume.

Patients can be placed on medication and given follow-up appointments on a future date.
Health › Re: Who Do Doctors Go To When They Fall Sick? by thorpido(m): 10:35am On Dec 03, 2016
If it's a simple illness you buy drugs and treat yourself. If it's something more serious, you have specialists in differents areas of medicine. You simply consult one in the area you need e.g if you are a gynaecologist and you are sick, you could consult a colleague who is a physician.
Sometimes you could consult a senior colleague too.

That expression 'tongues of angels' is a figurative expression which means a language angels can understand.

Do you know sir, that the whole tongue thing is based on faith. You say balderdash but believe it is the tongue of angels. Does your believe make it so?
You believe and receive by faith but the words are spoken words that you can hear though not understand. That is not faith because the words are audible.

You and your husband should work towards renting an apartment even if it's a room and parlour. It's the only choice you have.
Where you stay now can only breed all kinds of insults, gossips and jealousy.

And he claims she was making all this up, right?? Since I had to "go behind his back"..he said what else can he do to prove what he is saying?!?! I told him that he could call the girl on speaker & tell her it's over & there is to be no more contact & he keeps giving me reasons why he can't..
He's obviously not being sincere.

Interesting.

So, what is the benefit of speaking in tongues?
1 Cor.14:4 says,'he that speaketh in an unkown tongue edifieth(builds, charges his spirit) himself'.One benefit of speaking in tongues is that it energises your spirit. It gives you this inner assurance that you can do it,overcome whatever challenge you are facing. It also drives fear away from your heart. You have a sense of dominion. You can't speak in tongues regularly and be a fearful person.

Rom.8:26 says,'likewise the Spirit helpeth our infirmities for we know not how to pray as we ought'. Another benefit of speaking in tongues is that you are able to communicate better with God in prayer. The human mind is limited in communication with God.Speaking in tongues takes you higher in your communication because you are speaking a language that the Spirit of God puts on your lips.

Have you ever experienced "speaking in tongues" being translated before?
Yes,I have a couple of times.
It's at different prayer meetings. We all are usually praying but suddenly you have someone's who's speaking in tongues and the voice is loud and intense.Someone in the crowd says this is what she said.
Most times it's a message exhorting God or an instruction for the congregation.

Ordinarily I abhore divorce, but your case isn't ordinary now, is it?

All the best though.

I had a guy friend translate some texts between them at one point..and it's all I need to know..my guy friend advised to find someone else impartial to the situation to re-translate it so I can know he's telling the truth..but I don't know if anyone..then his family acts dumb & acts like they can't understand what the girl is saying to him!! There is no reason why this man would lie to me..he's hating to see the pain I'm in..he's confirmed all what is said on this forum..Nigerian families will cover up wives back home..I even confronted his brother & told them I have lost all respect for my husband &a family for covering this up..I confronted him with my newfound knowledge & he has had no response back once I laid it out before him..

This is his 2nd oldest brother I reported him to after I discovered once again he was talking to her a month after our marriage..we met in June & married in August.. this was NOT an arranged marriage!! I felt genuinely at the beginning that this was real..we have no fights & arguements between unless I catch him talking to this girl..

He's been reported THREE times behind this..with NO CHANGE!! If he had respect for his family & respect for me, this wouldn't be an ongoing issue would it?? And the fact his older brother didn't have nothing to say when I confronted him with my newfound knowledge..NOTHING..
Two months of getting to know each other? angry
I'm afraid you married a man you didn't really know. Was he the one who wanted the marriage done as soon as possible? As it stands now,he could have that lady as a fiancee and be hooked to you just for the papers.
Watch how events unfold for the next couple of months and decide what's best for you - to move on or wait it out.
