I married for love and I know my wife married me for love.Of course in marriage other things are important but I can confidently say that our foundation is love.
Marriage for other people may not be about love.In Nigeria especially,love is the least of it.Money comes first most times,status,the job he/she has(I had some colleagues who only wanted nurses),time/age(a lot of ladies just have to settle down with the available),tribe(nna,na from my village or nothing)etc.

I would agree that what he did was rather crazy, but l would not entirely agree that it was selfish. He has always put his family first and he was able to raise his children until they were old enough to understand the decisions they made in life.

He cannot only live his life to please everyone else. Look at it this way he spent the first 65 years of his life being someone everybody else wanted to see and now he is spending the last years of his life being whom he has always wanted to be all his life.

He played his part when he was a husband and a father and now its time for him to live his life the way he has always wanted to live it, not the way society had always wanted it to be. Its crazy in everyone else's eyes but thats what makes him happy.

Jesus spoke these words:

And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as [a]presenting all that I Am], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son.John 14:13

He said pray in My Name.He said the Father is glorified in Jesus when you do that.It's a mystery but God answers in the Name of Jesus.

As for the jews, there are various hadiths that confirm the jews in arabia had knowledge of Muhammads arrival. Here's the two I could dig up.

"Bring forward the most learned among you before me."  When that man came forward, he and Muhammad spoke in private.  Finally Muhammad asked him, "Do you know that I am the Apostle of Allah?"  The rabbi answered, "By Allah! The Quran says Jesus mentioned Muhammad by name, something the current bible may not directly contain , but the dead sea scrolls recovered speak of Muhammad and prophecise his coming as well, why isn't this in the bible? Where did it go? Like I said, Muhammad was sent with the Quran which sheds light on the truth about the bible and torah, not the jewish propaganda that fills it.

well to me and i know to other Catholics, its very productive and it improves us spiritually especially the sorrowful mystery. I pray everyday for the grace to be consistent in praying the rosary. It has really helped me in many ways. So kind sir just say you dont pray it because you dont believe in it but not that its not productive.
