gidgiddy:We are highlighting the hypocrisy of those who call Tinubu a wicked leader but also voted a man who vowed to remove subsidy on day1 just as Tinubu did. |
"I can assure you it will go immediately... Subsidy I've said it before is organised crime, and I cannot allow it to stay a day longer"- Peter Obi, January 2023 |
Peter Obi cannot deny his own words.
|
It is no surprise that Peter Obi has stayed mostly quiet despite lamentations by his obidient supporters that the Tinubu administration is wicked and clueless to have removed subsidy without any palliatives already in place. The video below shows Peter Obi vowing to remove subsidy immediately. He even vowed that it will not stay a day longer, just as Tinubu has implemented. Peter Obi being a hypocrite was later quoted that he would have done it differently. This man has no integrity, but we already knew that from how he abandoned APGA despite promising to die for APGA as an Igbo agenda party. Please watch Peter Obi below on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrgp1pMZNSw |
Why has he done this again? The woman deserves to be praised, but Obi should be more nationalistic in his approach. He has surrounded himself with only his Igbo clansmen who inform him only about Igbo matters. |
Peter Obi has praised this Igbo woman, but refused to praise the Northern Muslim woman who return a higher amount of $80k in Mecca while on pilgrimage. When will Peter Obi change his ways? Curse777: Buharidgeneral:You know him very well. He did not praise the one that returned $80k in Mecca. |
Jostoman:All eyes on the Judiciary and the Mandate thieves. The will of the people remains sacrosanct. Tinubu remains the validly elected President of Nigeria. |
Urheadmaster:We knew Labour Party before Peter Obi. Gov Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo state ruled for 8yrs as a Labour Party member. They had both state and federal legislators from Labour Party Dan Iwuanyanwu was the party Chairman. Guess what? Peter Obi knew Labour Party and was even threatened by their profile that he refused to allow them use Ekwueme Square forctheir campaign forcthe 2013 gubernatorial election, despite paying the required fees. In fact, the Labour Party banners were destroyed in Anambra state.
|
Urheadmaster:E pain am die. All known PDP political prostitutes and ticket hunters, must not be allowed to dictate to the founders of Labour Party.
|
Very regrettable indeed. He just wasted the ticket of LP as an illegitimate candidate. We are watching the judiciary keenly. The ticket hunter must not be allowed to corrupt our democratic process with his desperate ambition that he must become President. Funny that the same corruptor of the process claims he is fighting for the process, despite knowing that his own candidacy on a party he was not a valid member is a grave anomaly. |
When he is detained again, he will start begging that he wants to go home.
|
hisexcellency34:That is why he is Nnamdi Kanu's true disciple. He is no more a terrorist than Nnamdi Kanu who some have tried to whitewash. No responsible government will release Nnamdi Kanu when he has a treason case to continue at the court. The most is to show him mercy and commute his expected death sentence to life imprisonment. |
IconicR:It is a mental sickness. |
Jostoman:Even Atiku is pleading with the court to uphold INEC's submission, but does not want The court to uphold INEC's declaration of Tinubu as winner of the presidential election. |
Naija na Lagos. We expected that already, so no news here. |
Could this be the overdue nominations? |
Zxcvbnmghtr:The upset is about the nonchalance of those in power in keeping with promises and timelines that they set. This is a simple matter that is the exclusive preserve of the Presidency, yet they have failed their own target. Does that inspire confidence over the weightier matters of the law? So if Buhari had not been proactive to employ the law to curtail the same delay he practiced, the Tinubu regime would have told us that Buhari took 6months to nominate Ministers, so we should not be in a hurry? The government of Tinubu must be admonished to be serious with the matters of governance. |
RenaissanceGuy:Agreed! But notice that we do not have any promise from Tinubu, that is why I faced those who made the promise and who are inside his government to ensure their Principal meets the expectations they have set. Except they set him up to fail. Dele Alake is known as Mr Strategy. What is strategic about making a promise and still being the one to come out later when the promise was due to claim until the President exceeds the 60days set in law, we should not complain? That level of irresponsibilty should never be accepted by Nigerians, more so those who want the country to work for all. If this was the UK, Dele Alake would have resigned in disgrace. |
helinues:We must always hold the government to task over little things, else they would fail over more serious matters that would have dire consequences. There is no dire consequence yet to the lateness of the cabinet nominations, but it shows the nonchalance of the government to keeping with their promises. Does the APC want to remain under the ignominy of its All Promises Cancelled epithet? You want to continue struggling to win national elections? If not for the 4 horse race of the presidential election, would the APC be in power now? At what point would the party and its government learn to move fast and deliver to the expectations of its dwindling support base? |
Malory:Keep shut and stop looking for mandate to steal. The only landslide Obi won is the erosion on his native Anambra. |
helinues:Your excuses only underline that the Tinubu government did not plan for the contingencies that are expected when putting together a cabinet. He did it in 3weeks as Governor, what stopped him from maintaining his own standard? Now he is struggling to meet up with the standard set by a notorious cabinet "latecomer". That is not inspiring at all. |
Malory:Every supporter of every candidate told us their own candidate is the best. I repeat, politics is over, we are now in governance. |
helinues:Excuses! This is the same Tinubu that Dele Alake reminded us that his state cabinet was formed in 3weeks as Governor of Lagos State. Why would Lagos get to Abuja and then suffer stage fright? Or are you saying Dele Alake was irresponsible in defining how long it would take a serious government in naming its cabinet, regardless of the expected protocols involved in finalising the list? |
Malory:So all those who have failed in the past did so because they had no "peoples mandate"? Be serious. This is about governance, not politics. |
Gunayo:How can a delay of governance favour you and your family? Can a delay of the fire fighting team favour anyone whose house is on fire? |
These 2 failures of the infant Tinubu government are close Aides and Senior Advisers who promised Nigerians in March 2023 that we would see a marked difference in the Tinubu administration, as it concerns the readiness of the Tinubu government to hit the ground running in terms of forming his national cabinet. They both individually set a timeline of 30days ahead of the 60days timeline signed into law by Buhari, who ironically is the 6months late comer that did not want his predecessors to be like him. Today is day 54. Today is also 24days overdue for the serious government standard they set. Dele Alake has suddenly gone mute. Bayo Onanuga has no official role in government yet, but we know he is a close confidant of President Tinubu. A government that has proven to be unreliable in its promise over a simple matter of cabinet nomination, despite the many months of post election transition, and is now struggling to meet the lawful deadline of 60days, cannot inspire confidence in even its most ardent supporters. This begs the question, how prepared is the Tinubu regime to tackle the serious and complex problems we have as a nation, if it cannot attain a simple milestone set by its own top officials for a mere nomination that is the exclusive preserve of the Presidency? Are we on another roller coaster ride where indecision and delay is the order of the day? Is Tinubu "shocked" that his ministerial nominations are yet to be released by himself? Morning shows the day. What I can assure is that however unprepared the Tinubu regime is to meeting up with the challenges of national governance, him and his team have no choice but to perform the job he sought. At day 54, we ask Tinubu to stop being unserious, casual and irresponsible. Nominate your cabinet today and move fast to recover lost ground of the current public perception that the Tinubu regime does not have the capacity to deliver on its own renewed hope. Speaking with one of our correspondents on Friday, the Special Adviser to the president-elect, Mr Dele Alake, disclosed that it would not take Tinubu up to 60 days to assemble a team of competent hands for his government.https://punchng.com/tinubus-cabinet-ready-30-days-after-inauguration-alake/ |
famology:You should be crying that the Tinubu regime is not showing the seriousness that could deliver on the renewed hope ambition. Are you not worried that the same people who set a 1month deadline ahead of the 60days rule, are now scampering to even meet up with the 60days? |
sarkinbauchi:This is absolute rubbish. Today is day 54. So we now have to thank Buhari for lawfully and forcefully keeping Tinubu within 60days to nominate his cabinet, otherwise he would have also taken 6months to do so? Did Dele Alake and Bayo Onanuga not promise us that Tinubu would nominate his cabinet within 1 month? Is today not 24 days overdue according to the "serious government" standard that they set by themselves? Initial gra gra critics have been fully vindicated. What a shame. |
Hahahahaha! These clowns really put their hopes on Elluuu Pi. |
mightyhaze:What did Edo gain from the self-inflicted pain on themselves? All those mouthing it now have a bitter taste in their mouth. Even Nigeria is now Lagos. |
