Nnamdi Kanu will go down in history as the man who brought sorrow, tears, and blood to his peaceful homeland, and opened the floodgates for all manner of riff-raff like himself to make themselves lord over the cowardly people of the SouthEast. His death sentence for treason is as sure as Peter Obi's contribution to Tinubu's presidential success. |
onthehill:Who are the people? Are they the Niger coup plotters or the supporters of the election losers in Nigeria who have been lamenting over their loss without reprieve? Where did you see or hear or read the Niger coup plotters refer to Tinubu as illegitimate? Are they the electoral umpire or the Nigerian Courts? |
Tntsi:You think it is your Igbo Christian candidate they would have listened to, who is a nobody in African politics? So the opinion of an analyst referencing the lamentations of Igbos online, is the opinion of the Niger coup plotters? Keep deluding yourselves with your lies to make you feel better as a loser. |

This came barely 24 hours after the Senate unveiled the list of President Bola Tinubu’s proposed cabinet members at plenary on Thursday. So Sanwo-Olu was waiting for Tinubu who needed 59days for an incomplete list, before he sent his own complete list on the very last of 60days so he will not outshine his leader who decided to be unserious and fail the 1month standard his own aides and advisers set as a measure of seriousness? |
helinues:Those guys are a cancer to any democracy that is hoping to thrive. They do not believe in the rights of anyone else. |
Ghost11:Like typical Obidient fashion, you want your fellow zombies to cancel UBA because the same court you are hoping for to grant you victory, ruled in favour of another party in another case. You think Justice is only served were you are favoured? You guys are a nuisance to any sane society. |
Oh! Wetin go happen to all the Ofe Nsala ingredients that many have been buying to celebrate the famous Ofe Nsala day for 2 weeks? |
Rubbish |
Zxcvbnmghtr:Very sad for the cowards. They would rather protest against the government who lock up their shops, than protest against the terrorist who take away their freedom. |
How did this guy dig himself so deep into insignificance? |
How can tribunal announce a loser as winner? Did the loser proved that he won? Did the loser ask to be declared the winner and sworn in as President? Stop deluding yourself. All eyes are on the Judiciary. They cannot oppose the will of the majority that voted Tinubu as President. |
Evidence of poor planning despite having 60days to show seriousness. Not impressed with the fire brigade approach to partially meet a deadline that was supposed to be too much and double the time required by a serious government. |
I hope the Biafrans would come to this forum and regale us with pictures of how they are preparing their Ofe Nsala? Ofe Nsala day for 2weeks na enjoyment galore for those resident in the SouthEast. They have worked for it, let them enjoy the rewards of their labour. |
Praxis758:They are not barred, but already overdue for recess and have now been futher delayed by an unserious government that needed all of the days that Buhari's law allowed for the nominations of Ministers. |
Imagine what happens when a government is not serious enough to send the ministerial nominations well in time within the deadline. Now the Legislature will bear the brunt of the indecision and inefficiency at the Executive/Presidency. |
No be this same Enugu wey Ogbete market dey? The market wey faeces they line the ground like say na cobbled stones. |
My disappointment is that it took Tinubu 59 days to submit an incomplete list of Ministers, just to beat a deadline we were previously assured was too much time for an Administrator of Tinubu's caliber. This is the same Tinubu whose close aides regaled us in March 2023 with tales of how he already had his state cabinet set-up in 3weeks as Governor of Lagos State. They even promised that if his list is not ready on the 1st day, he would nominate his cabinet within 1 month as the standard time required by a serious government. My appreciation goes to Buhari for realizing that others might come after him and want to repeat the 6months delay to appoint ministers. If not for the 60days timeline that Buhari signed into law, it is obvious that Tinubu was not ready to name his ministers within 3months sef. I hope him and those aides who have now even been nominated to higher office, would learn from the folly of how they scuttled the ministerial nominations that should have underscored the readiness of the regime to promptly attend to the needs of the country. They have no choice because they willingly promised us renewed hope, so we must get it in full measure. |

Since Peter Obi no gree recognize her despite returning a bigger amount and occurring earlier than the hotel staff. |
Ol |
Penguin2:Very true observation. |
So Tinubu needed all of the 60days Buhari provided? What a shameful disgrace. |
IconicR:Obi no get memory. |
Obi need not worry with this lamba. MKO Abiola of greater stature in Nigeria, in Africa, and in the world, already paid the supreme price for our democracy in the aftermath of his Hope '93 presidential victory. It is only just and moral that the greatest of MKO Abiola's disciples, in the person of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reap the rewards with a Presidency and a mandate that is built on Renewed Hope 2023. |
Hahahahahaha! Mumu no fit finish for this world. |
This fraudulent candidate that corrupted the nomination process of a party is also talking? |
“People saying that the 103 is proof that actually 103 people were killed at the Lekki toll gate is a very grave error and I will not join anybody saying that. This is both the reality and compromise. Sanwo-Olu himself was quoted after visiting the hospitals around Lekki, in the immediate aftermath of the military and police crackdown at the tollgate, that 2 persons were confirmed dead. The propaganda that the anti-government and anti-Tinubu anarchists have been defeated over is that there was a massacre at the Tollgate. The massacre was at Ezu River perpetrated by Awkuzu SARS. |
Rayban25:Executive irresponsibility must never be condoned even if one supported the candidates in seeking for power. You think I supported Buhari or Tinubu to win just for the glory of office and not for the discharge of their duties? If one cannot meet a simple target set by his senior advisers and close aides, I would question the drive/determination/competence of that person to accomplish more complex goals that have been set. This delay to nominate Ministers does not show the seriousness to deliver on renewed hope. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Maybe Aso Rock is truly jinxed with failure and confusion. |
April396949:This is pure garbage. Dele Alake and Bayo Onanuga vowed that the Tinibu administration once sworn in, would not take up to a month to nominate his cabinet ministers. Dele Alake further argued that a serious government would do so within 1 month and not really on the 60days signed into law by Buhari the ministerial latecomer. |
This is failure by the Tinubu administration. Day57 and he is still running helter-skelter? No! No! No! It is disgraceful that the Tinubu regime has shown that Buhari was right to set such 60days deadline to prevent executive irresponsibility at the Presidency and at the state level. |
