Health / Re: What Do You Call This Toe Injury? Pls Help! (Disturbing Pictures) by Thundeh(m): 4:57pm On May 07, 2021
Unknown8:
Hey guys, hope y'all good.

So there's this wound on my big toe, which developed by itself, just like that. I've been suffering this injury for more than a year now.

I've taken many medications and treatments, all to no avail. I've met 4 deferent doctors, who apparently do not know what that is or how to treat it, they just dress it and prescribe some medicine, and that's it.

I just discovered recently that it's an Ingrown Toenail, after some research on the internet. And according to what I read, it needs a surgery to remove the Ingrown Nail, but all the doctors I've met do not know what an Ingrown Toenail is, and they usually tell me that it doesn't need a surgery.

Guys pls, this thing is really painful. I can't even walk properly with it. If you are a doctor here who knows about this, I beg you to not ignore this post

If you have experience something like this or know someone who has, pls tell me how to treated it. Thank you so much.

It will mean a lot if this thread could reach the front page to gain more views. Pls I really need any help I can get. Thank you!

Yes it called Ingrown Toenail, I had this similar issue some 13 years ago,. I went through a lot of pain most especially at night and initially thought it was witlow until otherwise. I suffered this for close to three months until someone referred me to R-Jolad hospital at new garage Lagos, and the doctor said the only way forward was surgery. They operated by removing completely my left toe in a less than 30minutes surgery operation. Though the after operation pain at that night was something else. Within two weeks the toe was completely healed, though the toe shape has never remained the same with its right counterpart. So go to a general hospital or if you live in or around Lagos go to R-Jolad hospital at new garage Lagos for the surgery asap. The doctor then made me to understand that it can go for years unhealed if surgery is not done. The attached pics is the aftermath of my nail after 13years.

Hmmm
Updates well Xiaomi is trying in terms of updates the redmi note 9 pro comes with Android 10 already

But it's sure to receive android 11 as well even though it may take time
For example I use a Redmi note 8 and I'm awaiting an android 10 update with miui 12 and probably it will arrive before the end of the year or early next year I think it's taking so long because they are trying to push an already heavy miui 12 together with Android 10 to the users

Phones like redmi note 7 and redmi 8 have received android 10 already, as well as redmi note 8 pro and countless devices I can't actually mention

With Xiaomi it's not android system updates that are intriguing but the miui updates while they way they release updates for some of their phones may be slow they still do a pretty good job with updates
Thanks for your honest truth. Again I want to know about its maintenance, such as: Do they have a replica of Carlcare anywhere in Nigeria? How expensive are its parts such as screen, battery, panel, etc? How quickly/soon does its screen got broken when fall?

I'm back now
And here are my findings

There are 3 phones from 3 cool brands that suit your specs

The very first is
Xiaomi Redmi note 9s
98,000

The second is
Umidigi f2
At least 89,000

The third is
Samsung galaxy a31
92,000 (black Friday)

Now these 3 devices are very similar

They are all 6gb RAM and 128gb ROM
and they all have 5000 mah battery

However their processors set them apart from eachother

In terms of processing power the Xiaomi Redmi note 9s is the absolute winner of the trio because it's got a powerful Snapdragon 720g

The Umidigi is in second place with a mediatek Helio p70
And the Samsung in in third place with a mediatek Helio p65

Now all these phones are very good phones no doubt, they all come with a quad camera set up

But only the redmi note 9s supports 4k video recording
Let's not forget that if you wished you could get gcam for the redmi note 9s to further enhance its already impeccable camera performance because it's running on Snapdragon

Now let's get down to the screen
The Redmi note 9s has an Fhd+ LCD ips screen
LCD screens are known to be color accurate

The screen resolution is at 1080 * 2400p
So it's really high and if you get videos at 1080p or play a game that can be upscaled to that level you'll have a crystal clear and crisp experience
It's also got a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and will hold for drops as high as 6ft (it can probably withstand fall damage from greater heights but 6ft is the only review I've seen)

Now the GPU!!
The GPU is an adreno 618 I'll gonna skip all the tech jargons and give it to you plainly
It's an insanely good gpu

I use a Snapdragon 665 myself with an adreno 610 gpu and I know the kinds of games I've run on "very high" graphics settings

With 6gb ram and a Snapdragon 720g CPU that has top speeds of 2.3ghz of 4 of 8 cores multi tasking wouldn't be a problem at all

Now for the bonus
Miui 12 is one of the best UIs out there because it's got loads of features that includes hiding apps or second space which simulates another android device on your phone almost like the multiple users function on windows
And it's highly customisable too

I implore you to watch the video in the link so as to have a full understanding of MIUI 12 multitasking functions which minimises most system apps and social media apps as a floating window on top of whichever app you're currently using without having to switch from one app to another

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1abcyZgL-EU

Redmi note 9s is really the phone for you
Bro I love your detailed analysis on this device. Want to ask you a question as a layman on mobile phone, does redmi note 9pro or any xaiomi phone support updates e.g android 11 or 12?

Naija doctors and their conventional way of child birth, why do they continue to wait for as long as 24hours labour? They could have induced her with injection that will quicking the delivery not up to that time and without CS. I'm talking from experience though.

I wonder why some people cannot answer simple question without insult. Of course I know distraction is a major reason but some churches lay emphasis on it as if it mandatory in the Bible. You hear the pastor say "Let us close our eyes for prayers" rather than leaving them to use their discretion.

Hello Nairalanders,
I Want to know where closing eyes for prayer session is mentioned in the Bible. Or better still who started the act of shutting eyes while playing.
Then, if it is not Biblical, which denomination started it. Please matured answers required.
Thank you.

MOBDRO is my favourite satellite service provider........
Yes bro. The only time I watch matches at viewing centre is when I don't have much data on my phone, when the data network is bad or when my phone battery is low. But bro wait, it's only a mobile app na or do they have Internet pay TV service so as DSTV.

It depends on what you mean by right holders...in my location I watch premier league, la liga, champions league etc. Guess what I don't have dstv, bein sports show all those leagues you listed...tstv is using bein sports and not super sports...
You're very correct bro. I have been watching Epl, LaLiga, champions league, qualifiers, etc for more than a year on my phone courtesy of Bein sport stations through Mobro mobile app. So with TSTV partnering with Bein sports, it's very possible to watch all live matches.

Do they show different EPL matches simultaneously.
Yes they can. For you to be rest assure of that, go and download an android app called Mobdro. Install it on your phone and wait for this saturday afternoon when EPL matches will be played simultaneously. Open the app, go to sport section and scroll down to Bein 1 - Bein 10, select any EPL match of your desire and thank me later. Infact I only go to a viewing centre to watch football maybe when I'm out of data, when my phone battery is drained or a friend ask us to go watch together.

I used Wifi in my office for my business but at home I use Glo data to browse. I know the Network is slow but in the past days it has really been frustrating. I have had to take my home based internet business to my office which is against my work policy.

If you are experiencing same poor data speed with Glo, how are you coping? Any other alternative? I am based in Lagos.
In fact snail speed is the right word to use for Glo internet network. I have called their 444 customer service times without numbers, all you hear is it will be resolved. it got to an extent that I have no other choice than to sub for an mtn simultaneously with Glo.i think it's high time Glo stopped engaging in internet service cause they don't seem to fix their epileptic services.
