Please all the gurus in the house. My brother got a COS issued on the 24th August 2023 and the work start date is 23rd December 2023. Please, is there anything wrong with the work start date ? Considering the fact that COS is only valid for 3 months and hope this won't bring any issue with UKVI.@ AdvanceDNA and others please!
The work start date is fine.

In the case of my wife COS from an NHS. Maintenance was ticked Y and they also added sponsor note stating only main applicant is covered.
Which is exactly what the ECO is asking.

So ticking maintenance is not only clear as day and night especially when you have dependants.

The ECO wants to be 100% sure the maintenance is also applicable to the dependants.

Hence the reason they asked for either a sponsor note or just simply show your financial evidence (bank statement)

Okay.......u so realize applicant can 5 kids plus husband...me i have not seen NHS sponsor entire family for every overseas aplicant..

If ticking sponsorship automatically translates to sponsoring the tire family no matter how many they are.......so why is ukvi asking her to provide account statement or note from sponsor?? .

if there is not additional sponsor note saying entire family is sponsored together with the apllicant....ukvi now ask applicant to present account statement for their dependents or get the sponsor to attach additional sponsor note......
Valid Question. There is a reason why the phrase (and dependants, if applicable) is mentioned

Hello ..thanks for your response, my prospective employer says they can assist me with the transfer of sponsorship ( it's dormicilary to residential care home ) what are the things they want to assist with, from your experience, thanks again.
The only thing they can assist you with is to issue you a CoS and probably tick maintenance if you are less than 1yr in the UK

I’m confused why people are complaining about lack of shift or jobs. I may be wrong but I think the problem is either they don’t drive, have a car or have license. Shift yakpa for where I dey. But only if you are mobile. Things I did that I think helped ; get a car with insurance, get ur int driving license before leaving , most imp before u leave get used to road signs and driving instructions via the gov.uk site. If possible pay the £15 hazard perception multi trial test. Then Watch tons of YouTube vid on how to pass the test.
Hopefully this helps someone.
Lucky you! People are really really complaining about lack of shifts/jobs, all thanks to GREEDY employers and this has nothing to do with driving.

Please, is International driving license different from the normal one drivers obtain here in Nigeria and if different how much and how can one get this international driver's license please sir.
Don’t stress yourself, the normal Nigerian drivers license carries more weight. Don’t bother yourself about the international license.

Using her car on test day should be charged as normal driving lessons on a hourly rate.

First time I’m hearing this.

kindly advice, if you will, which supporting documents comes in and which goes out as this time I'm applying from inside . Thanks
I recently updated my visa as I changed employer, I didn’t upload any supporting document.

If you have lived less than a year in the UK and your employer didn’t tick maintenance in your CoS, then you will have to show financial evidence.

Good evening house. My husband got his COS today but his work start date is says April 2023 and the COS duration June- Sept 2023. Also the salary stated is £20480 which doesn't seem to be the going rate. Is that a mistake or something?
Everything is wrong about this CoS, from the dates to the salary. The employer needs to make amendments. I stand to be corrected tho

Do you think it's worth it selling everything back home without a real job with shift to cater for your needs in the UK?
Definitely No. but most of these disreputable care companies tell them that there is no job, yet them go still chook head. DESPERATION

Even the writer of this article said it;

He says: "Some of them are told before they arrive, 'you won't have a job, you're only arriving here'. And they do pay a lot of money. It's just a way to get to the UK."

Please guys, my CoS came out of the 17th of July. Maintenance was not ticked. The start date on it was 31st of July but because maintenence was not ticked, I had to do the 28 days proof of funds which will be complete tomorrow. My question now is that I am about 21 days late of the start on my CoS. Will this be an issue with my visa application. Although the expiration date of my CoS is 18th of October. Please advise me.
Don’t worry yourself too much about the start date.

Your employer can always give reasons & inform the home office about a new start date upon the successful outcome of your application.

As long as you apply before the CoS expires, you are fine.

1. No one will penalise you for accepting 2 offers but since you cannot work for both NHS Trusts, why accept both offers? Besides, you dey spoil road for those wey dey come for back with the Trust you will be rejecting.

2. You see that time that the first Trust is taking to give you CoS, the second Trust will take the same amount of time, if not more. So what is the point?

3. No NHS Trust will ever ask you to pay for CoS. The cost of CoS is chicken change to them.

4. How best to manage the situation: Pick one offer and reject the other one now by letting them know you have accepted another offer. Wait patiently while your CoS is being readied. Since you have gone far with the first Trust, stick with them cos the you don't want to start the process all over again with the second Trust.

My CoS took at least 5 months, likewise Tier4Dependant 's. Patience is a virtue

I hope this helps
No lies bro. You have said it all 👍👍👍
