gratefulme40:Go back to the office, look at him right in the face and get the reference number. After which you can track and have proof of whether he has applied or not. I’m sure you will know what to do next. Without that reference number, I’m not sure you can really do anything because he can still give you false stories even though you have called dbs. But wait, shebi na the company suppose pay for dbs Or am I missing sth? |
tiptoe1:This is now very common. The sad part of this whole thing is that if a company’s license gets revoked, it affects its employees. Home office will not pity you that paid 5million or 10million to get CoS. Home office will not say that it’s your company that did not give you job to complete your hours. Once your salary falls below the required, there will be problem. My advice to anyone in this situation is to start looking for another company that can sponsor. There is what is called Home Office Sponsor Compliance Visits. These people know what to look out for. I pray none of us gets caught up in between these greedy employers mess. Lastly, I think most of us are too focused on care homes and all these small small companies that just got sponsorship license and leaving out the big picture. Guys look into NHS, don’t limit yourself. Band 3 HCA role is eligible for sponsorship…. Browse the nhs job website, filter out band 3 roles or higher if eligible and start submitting applications. Forget about whether they include that sponsorship is offered for the role or not, just keep applying. It’s not an easy task, but you will come back and testify in 3-4 months from now. |

mizGene:These insurance companies are funny ooo. Admiral gave me a higher quote for renewal despite having no claims for a year , I called and said that I wanted to leave, the agent reduced my premium by £250. I still left tho cos I got a better offer with marshmallow 😁 |
audrey54me:Lucky you…. |
audrey54me:Which band did you get the sponsorship for? And is it HCA role? |
My oga’s in the house, I need help on how to go about referencing. I want to change my job and I don’t want my current employer to have a clue about it until I give him my 4weeks termination notice. More like I want to get the job first before saying I want to leave. I have previously worked with 2 other companies that can give me reference but my potential new employer wants a reference from current employer. How can I go about it? Please I need all ideas I can get from you all. Thanks |
Progressivegee:Thanks boss. |
Progressivegee:Thanks for your response. I just read your previous posts. I have found a company that is ready to sponsor me, can I get the sponsorship and apply for visa without my current employer having a knowledge of it. Or would the home office notify my current employer when I’m being assigned a new CoS. Notice of termination for my present job is 4 weeks which I intend to give when I apply for a new visa or when my visa is out. Can I send you a PM? |
Anyone changed employer on tier 2 visa before? I want to find out some information. Thanks |
Wisdom7400:Some people just come to public forums and open mouth Waaa to display ignorance . I asked a very simple question and I am getting “ you are playing with fire, some people will sleep on the street of London, free has a price, the experience is horrible, blah blah blah. For a minute I thought I was in a wrong space ![]() |
ijeshaoflondon:What’s wrong with HCA job. I have been working as a HCA for over a year in this country. Or am I missing sth? |
hayesconcept:Nothing happened! I just don’t like the house to house driving thingy. I feel like I am not getting the most out of my time as time is money in this country. I am not having issues with the care work itself, I just don’t like the domiciliary part of it and would love to change employer. I hope I answered your question. |
