God help me I can't wait for this to stop.
My baby is six months old. About two months ago, I noticed pains on a part of my right wrist. I didn't hit the hand. As I'm talking to you, I still experience this pain. Sometimes to carry my baby is war.
Am I experiencing CTL?

Good morning Sabi mamas

My 6 week old started crying at the breast. She will start by whining, turning her head, pulling the nipple, crying and then quickly taking back the nipple. She is EBF and has not pood for 3 days...She has also been farting loudly, smelly farts.Could it be the reason why she is like that?

Has anybody experienced this please?
When my baby was 6 weeks, she sometimes go a week without pooing. The doctors said it's normal in babies though she farts a lot. The farts were always loud and smelly.
As for crying when sucking, does she stretch her legs? She may be having gas issues.
Just google gas in infants for more information but if you can, take her to a hospital.

Family / Re: My 1 Year Old Child Hasnt Started Walking. Should I Be Worried? by TiffanyJ(f): 11:49am On May 07, 2020
Abeg leave that child alone, madam. She will walk at her own time, don't just try to force her. Children are not same and so you shouldn't expect her to do what another child is doing or what another child did.
Don't forget, some children get to their milestone early and others are late. Please be guided and don't worry yourself unnecessarily.
My baby is six months old without a single tooth but I saw another baby of less than 6months with two teeth.

Thanks for breaking it down for them. We just love to decieve ourselves in this country. Lagos should follow so it can share reasonable palliatives to every house in Lag and extend the lockdown. The resources of the state should be shared among citizens at this period. A civil servant getting 50k without going to work should appreciate. So many private workers are at home with no salary. And to even think it was revenue generated from private coy and other informal sectors that will be used to pay civil servant makes it a good idea. Without private sector and informal workers, the govt of a state cant employ much. We all need one another to survive this war
To me this is fair.

Can I ask you a question, are you one of those impacted? It's easy to say something is fair until you are the one impacted. Why should it be made mandatory for people to contribute anything?
I'm a civil servant in Kaduna. I understand that if my money is touched, it's to help the poor. If it doesn't get to the poor, that's between Rufai and his God

The term "donation" is merely to make their action look humane and excusable... The man never planned to pay full salaries! Can't say I blame him.

The future of this nation's economy is not looking good at all!
The 25% donation will come from senior public servant whose netpay after tax is 67,000. I respected him for making it mandatory for all political appointees to each contribute 500k and then from henceforth, forfeit 50% of their salaries. This is fair

Best decision?! Wow.

They will be feeding at home. Kids at home would be eating more as well. Prices have also gone up.

And we all know governors have several avenues to pocket money so 25% salary cut has no impact on them.
My sister, read the post well before you complain. The man is after political appointees and senior staff. He made it mandatory for all political appointees to contribute #500k each and from henceforth forfeit 50% percent of their salaries.
Senior public servant whose net pay after tax is 67,000 must also contribute 25% of their salary. To me, this is fair. No one who collects less than 67000 will be affected.

I do hope all political office holders would have a salary cut or better still, forfeit their salary for the time being because public servants and the poor masses are always at the receiving end.
Political office holders must each contribute #500k then henceforth, forfeit 50% of their monthly salary.
The 25% deduction is for senior staff. Anyone whose netpay is up to 67k after tax. To me, it's fair

I support this development. I especially love the fact that El Rufai has made it mandatory for all senior political appointees in the state to each donate #500, 000 to help take care of the less privileged.

Yes, I am in support of the fact that senior staff earning more than 67,000 as net pay after-tax will from henceforth donate 25% of their salaries. According to him, the money will be used to help the less privileged.
Even though, I already know that not everyone will get, but at least, some mouths will be fed. I know some people that got foodstuff during this lockdown.
At least, he has the insight of making Wednesdays lockdown free day. If the state is not locked down, lives would be lost.
I was at the market last Tuesday during the lockdown free time and believe you me I was shocked. People don't even observe social distance at all.
May God help us all from hunger and this deadly virus.

good afternoon mamas, can I give otrivine child nasal drop to my 3month baby,if I can,how can it be used. I will really appreciate ur answers.
My baby was a month plus when that nasal drug was prescribed by a Pediatrician. He said I'm to use it for only a week, morning and evening. I did and it still didn't work on her. It may work for your baby, though.
My advice? Don't use the drug unless prescribed by a doctor. Please take her to the hospital.

Hello house, I hope we are doing well at this time.

My 6month old boy is not breathing well. His breathing is as if he is snoring. You could hear the sound of the breathing. This has been happening since he was a week old.

We met the ENT doctors who prescribed some medications like vit c, augmentine, Puritin and em profem. After taking the medications, nothing really changed. The breathing is still same.

I am really worried. Mothers and med practitioners wey sabi, pls help!
Don't just sit at home and keep wondering. Please take him to a good hospital to see a Pediatrician. Not anyhow Pediatrician o. If there's a teaching hospital close to you, take him there.
I always prefer teaching hospitals because they have good Doctors.

Hello everyone,
Please can I travel with a ten day old baby by road for 8 hrs trip?
I want to charter a car for myself and her to travel to another state for some time because the one we live in presently is having issues with corona/covid19.

Is it safe to do an 8hr trip with a ten day old baby? Has anyone here done that before?
Thanks
Since you will charter the car, I think it will do. My baby was 10 days old when we made a journey of over 2hrs. I know a woman that made a journey of up to 7hrs two days after her baby was born.
First, you have to make sure baby is comfortable and well covered.

I reached him and complained, he was saying that we didn't discussed about battery. I showed him the evidence he is still denying.

And for the faulty battery that needs replacement written on the screen and keyboard, his excuse was that it is UK used the laptop would not be perfect ai.
That he is not aware of it.
Something that is very conspicuous?

Who would skip such details when selling a laptop?

All in all, this is where he stands.
That
1.we didn't discussed about battery duration(evidence showed we did), I did asked him for both the HP and lenevo.

2.that he is unaware of the keyboard and battery replacement issues, that it is London used so it wouldn't be perfect. And that he send the laptop the way he received it, I shouldn't blame him.
who would sell a laptop without checking for any fault? Besides in this case the fault is very conspicuous, immediately you on it you'll see it, and the 0 that isn't you can clearly she its different from the rest of the keys.

3.that he sold the laptop to me at a very cheaper price and am complaining?

He refused to respond to my massages and call that I should do whatever/or take him to anywhere he is not going to do anything.
I reside in Kaduna and have been following this thread because I have the intention of getting my kid sister a laptop from him. I'm glad you brought this here. Let me stand by and watch how he would handle the situation.
You've accused him of not being fair, let's see how he would respond to your accusation. After all, there's always two sides to a story.
