AustineJohn908: FG is the fault cause UTAS has be n completed since but the FG is stalling it testing. That's very good to know. Let's all blame the government who should sit and expect it's employees to bring a payment systems. Very funny. It's just a game of big thieves pursuing smaller thives. |

thejourney200: I beg to differ. ASUU is caused more pains than gains to the Nigerian students. They keep fighting for their selfish interest and use the students as pawns. Despite the funds released to the institutions, have you seen any improvement in infrastructure? If they feel they are not okay with their salaries, they should resign. After all, our minister of science and technology is proud we are finally able to manufacture pencil. What does that tell you of our education system? Thank you jare. |

Thiwalade: You need to ask the right questions
Why pay for ippis wen UTAS is free? This government likes wasting money.
UTAS will flush out ghost workers too.
Brain drain is imminent. doctors are leaving the countries en-mass very soon Lecturers will follow suit since you don't value them. You'll be left with secondary school teachers to teach university students. Oh I'm well informed. In as much as we appreciate home based soft ware. The logic behind its development is ridiculous. How does brain drain come into what we are saying. It isn't today brain drain began in Nigeria. If a problem should be tackled in Nigeria, it has to be holistic and not just a segment (academic staffs alone) what about civil service. |

FG's pity is still very much on our side than ASUU's..
ASUU don't even know what they want.. Thank you very much. This is someone who knows what's going on. I know it's affecting the students. But think big. It's not revitilization they are shouting for oo. It's IPPIS o. That's the core issue. |

GeezBitz: chill bro, why you say that are you FG or you are IPPIS? anyways I feel the government has its own share on anything they make via IPPIS that's why they are forcing it on the lecturers, why not consider the ASSU mode of payment UTAS since they said it was free? unlike the IPPIS that isn't for free. common sense shows the government ain't looking out for the benefit or good of students and lecturers on this case. Look at the big picture before you comment. |

Proffwhyhurry12: Sincerely we need to support ASUU, if our Elites cannot send their wards to the university they created definitely they knew something is wrong.
I will partially stand with ASUU, cuz of unseriousness of government, they seem not to worry about the masses again Yes the Government may have their issues, but what is really the big deal? You want to give your employer a platform of how he will pay you? You want him to honour the agreement of 2019 agreement, which you know no government honours many promises or would we say fulfil 100% of demands. You want them to renegotiate 2009 and abi 2013 MOU, and that's why you are striking, does it makes sense. You say IPPIS, is not good because of the perculiarity of the university system, then sit with government and readjust the current IPPPIS platform and everyone is happy. Well my guys, trust me, ASUU does not mean well for the students. The government isn't working, that we know. But if everyone turns up and says we are striking, nothing would make sense. Why always the ASUU? Trust me it's political and greed motivated. Do you know the number of ghost workers that IPPIS fishes out. They said it has irregularities, that is very common with any payment scheme which would be readjusted with time. A lecturer teaching in 3 universities and collecting 3 salaries, with poor contact hours with the students. That is just one example of many others. Now ₦30 billion is ready to be shared with ASUU, NASU and SSANU, but ASUU insisted it be for then alone. Government agreed. Where they are now, is which platform? Government is saying, register on IPPIS and get the money, since UTAS they brought up isn't complete yet. ASUU is saying No! UTAS is it. So whose at fault now? |

There is a level of talent you have , and university is a downgrade.

Most Northern Muslims won't understand modern Islam, unless they visit UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Bahrain and Oman.. most of them are stuck with books written 1500 years ago by friends of Mohammad, wife of Mohammad, Son in Law of Mohammad, this Hadiths are personal opinion of the authors and at best unproven heresay from Mohammad's preaching, imagine the whole Shiite ideology is based on Mohammad's Son in laws written and not from Quran
I beg our Christian brothers and Sisters to please travel to Gulf Arab Countries to understand Islam, Northern Nigeria, Pakistan, Afghanistan are just Africans and Asians balkanizing Islam, just as some brain dead African Christians have made total mockery of Christianity
. Do we need to travel anywhere? We just watch and observe how they are and what they do? Thanks to the media. The countries you called above like Saudi, don't you think its because they are accepting westernisation, which the ones here are killing people for. They just permitted women to drive cars was it 2 years ago or so. Or you wanna call Pakistan and Afghanistan where war has been their countries moto. For me personally, I grew in the North of Nigeria. I have been told, it's a sin for unbeliveres to rule. They can do anything to collect leadership. It's a crime punishable by death to blaspheme against the prophet. It is a crime to have civilized life in the city such as club houses and co. To mention but a few 80% of countries where Islam is dominant are lack freedom and peace. For me, only Jesus Christ brings true peace. And you see us running to other climes to have a good life and yet we enslave people here. |

360degreess: .. Don't use small percentage to judge the whole religion. Not surprise, why won't you like your religion when everything about immorality is permitted. That is what you people keep saying, that it's only a few that makes this and that comments, but the question remains, what are the majority that think straight doing, concerning those few tarnishing the image of the religion? . Also, you feel we permitted immorality of all sorts right? Answer is we do not. God hates sin and tells his children to hate it to. But here we are in real world full of so many happenings. Every true child God wrestling with his/her own sin(s), or short comings so to say. But Christ who died has paid the price, that we may be justified and hence all things are past and we are new, thus, we are above the law of sin and it has no dominion over us. Then He sent us the Holy Spirit, who then assist us all when we fall, and guides us and name them as many as possible until the perfect day, either when we close our eyes to death or till he comes to meet us. What a more better way to live, that being miserable in self righteousness outwardly while committing hideous things inwardly and claiming saints. What a pity the bondage you suffer? |
