Bombblacks:He's the prime minister , so what? He's no different from the other MPs. Politics is more complex that just the Prime minister or President having a final say on things, except they are not practicing democracy. These guys are not dumb o. They have access to the best of lawyers in the world. They obviously didn't break any law, that is why even FIFA and UEFA haven't brought out anything to counter them, they are still consulting after over 24 hrs of announcement and they are yet to bring out any UEFA rule they broke. The only best thing UEFA president could do was rant in front of camera and issue threats without any legal standing. The fact that these big guys are so confident about it shows that they probably found a loop hole to exploit. The next best thing UEFA can do is to eat the humble pie and renegotiate with these big boys. Europe is not a banana republic, Any illegal declaration by any government or UEFA will be met with strong lawsuits by these big clubs and both clubs and UEFA probably knows that there will be no winner. UEFA lost all the cards when they failed to implement FFP rules to the letter to curtail the big boys , now they can't deal with the monsters they made. Let them enjoy what they created |
Bombblacks:I doubt it. Big cooperations all over the world budget for politicians lobbying money as part of their running cost. These guys are not dumb , they are smart, and they have smart and intelligent people I'm their employ who does crisis management for them and have anticipated the government getting involved Infact , politicians are the least of their problems because most of these politicians are owned by these big cooperations |
Bombblacks:The British government also got involved in 1992 during the creation of EPL from the national league, at the end of the day, the big clubs had their way and the government ended up forcing the hand of the FA to let them be. It's about lobbying bro. Infact, politicians are the easiest for big firms to lobby when the big firms want to have their way. Also, do you guys think these clubs haven't budgeted for this? or you think they just woke up yesterday and started bringing up Super league idea without looking at the possibilities, both legal and political? Something that Perez and his American friends have been planning for over 10 years |
handelex:Rooney has always been an intelligent guy. |
handelex:The bridge he meant is bridge of invitation to the super league ![]() The werey hear money , he start to speak in poetry ![]() |
Beorn:Are you minding them. Him and Pereira will just be doing endless sideways passes against teams that are defending without even taking any risk as an AM It's no accident that his best days was under Jose when we just sit back against any and every team hoping to counter . |
CapitalCee:yea , I noticed it too. Ole even mentioned it in the past before. He's now unpredictable with the ball and movement. The goals will come eventually. |
Eizzy003:Na just weak trolling just to get to United fans. Out of a the teams there, it's only France that have Portugal's clout. The rest no too sabi. Imagine if Germany has Jota, , Felix or Neto, I'm sure they will throw those Chelsea waste pipes into the bush ![]() |
chukwunedum150:Bad Very bumpy We are in 2021 and a while country like Nigeria can't give it's national team a good pitch. Which should be an easy thing to do. It seems those idiots at the NFF underated the effects of a good pitch in a team's football. There are some movements in the final third that the boys was trying to do today but bumpy pitches is just redirecting the ball anyhow |
isan:There's nothing that CAF can do about it. COVID is public health issue, and each country health officials take care of that. Most countries will want to trust their own Covid test results. But it seems some African countries want to weaponize it to gain advantage now by declaring fake COVID result. The fact that Benin rejected the Covid test results should tell you that they intentionally gave Iwobi a fake result and are also suspecting that Seria leone is doing the same to them too |
Olulong:Osimhen case is just like Rashford. Rashford is also wasteful at times, but it looks that way because these two make a lot of runs in the final third, they are not a "pass the ball to my feet" kind of players. They run into space a lot and they never stop making runs the whole game, that is why it usually look like they are the ones getting all the chances. |
DrLikita12:World cup is November 2022 |
Explorers:Of course they have armed guards. That is why pirates are also heavily armed and prepared too. Look at the way those Niger delta boys arm themselves with gunboats and heavy machine guns will give you a clue |
Explorers:I'm talking about vessels that will want to take the south African route due to the blocked canal Obviously the ones parked together at the entry point of the canal are well protected. Also, it seems you think I was talking about the ship that was blocking the canal. No I wasn't. I was talking about the ships that will have to take another route to get to Asia, which is by going around Africa, and they will be vulnerable to the somali pirates along the route. Piracy is not an easy thing to stop like you think because pirates don't attack ships on river ways or Canals, they do it on open sea where their chances of escape is higher. |
LMS1:You think it's easy to police an entire sea? |
Explorers:It doesn't stop anything. How many of them will Navy ship monitor at the same time. Las las, Pirate go still collect their own share along the way. |
smartsmith0907:On the contrary, we were unlucky, also coupled with the heroics of the benin goal keeper. It was benin that almost got lucky to take away a draw, unfortunately for benin, the better team won at the end |
humility33:It just looks like Aina didn't come to the party because he probably played to instructions. He didn't bomb foward a lot because Sanusi is doing so on the other side. From the match today, it seems Rohr gave Sanusi more license to go foward and understandably so, as he's the better attacker out of the two full backs. |
Sanusi showing us why he walked into the Porto team. If you are good, no team or coach will send you on endless loans |
12large1:Make Rohr cut soap for our local coaches na ![]() |
KingAlabi:I still believe Solskjaer decision to sell Lukaku was rushed sha. |
Clementoke:4-4-2 is the best option to me sha. That wayzl, Chukwueze and iwobi can play in midfield as RM and LM. Both iwobi and Chukwueze especially have played that position in their clubs multiple times so it won't be new. |
Olulong:It is CAF that is useless and don't do their job in sanctioning countries that do such nonsense treatment to away teams. That shit is even worse in CAF club competitions. Imagine doing such nonsense in Europe, UEFA would have sanctioned such country and these hostile behavior to away teams would have reduced to the barest minimum |
seniorkachion:Ships that pass through the suez canal pay tolls bro. The canal is literarily one of Egypt's source of revenue. The canal pass through egypt only, they built it and it belongs exclusively to them. So don't make it look like they suez canal is international waters. It's not, it belongs to Egypt. Before the canal was built, European ships go round Africa via the cape to get to Asia, which usually takes 2 weeks, but they can get to Asia via the canal in just 1-2 days |
BlueMann:Keep trying to paint a woeful City team with good brush. If I didn't watch the game I would probably think City was unlucky , meanwhile Barca wasted a lot of goal scoring opportunities in the opening 30 minutes of the game. Let's say you are right, a d every one took their chances, Barca would have won by at least 6-2 anyway. |
KingAlabi:Ole no be coach abeg. I used to be an Olein Person, but my eyes have opened to some realities about the guy. We will continue to shit on VDB because he's not a player that can do things individually like Bruno and the rest. The guy is a system player and such players get confused where there is none. No be here we dey when Chelsea fans were saying most of there players were shit during lampards reign. it got do bad for them that they began to doubt the abilities of Kante who has been one of there best players since he got to the club. The moment lsmpsrd was sacked, it became clear that he was just a clueless coach and those guys are not bad, after all they have won trophies in the past with some of these so called deadwoods. |
Leyqute:Thank God we now have Technical director that will make that assessment with the coach as well. May be this time, things will be different I hope |
eph12:Yea, I remember. But I won't blame Woodward for that deal sha. It was a bad one. Even under normal circumstances, Daniel Levy of Tottenham won't have done that deal too. But the man wanted to satisfy Mourinho to avoid complain. Now my guy don dey complain again ![]() |
KingAlabi:But Mou got his transfer targets at spurs now. Why is he complaining again. I remember that Spurs had to unwillingly agree to Madrid's buy back clause on reguilon just to satisfy Mou and to prevent Man utd from getting him. Yet Mou is still complaining. Well , I doubt it's true that it's complaining sha. I remember him saying that he has a better squad at Tottenham than at Man utd, and rightly so |
Pacesetter123:once upon a time, they use to tell us that Mourinho can't throw away a 1 goal lead, let alone a two goal lead. Mourinho is well and truly finished ![]() |
handelex:Even on twitter. It's now fashionable to abuse him. If any United player can't get an erection with their girlfriend, the twitter and online people will blame Ole, no rationality and objectivity when it comes to Ole, just abuse him and inshallah Very pathetic trend. |
eph12:Fred is usually the deeper midfielder in charge of recycling possession. Tom is the one with the license to go higher up, and the higher you go up the pitch, the lesser your touches |
