Good day house, please what is the reasonable range to pay a builder for construction of fence and plastering of a half plot of land.
Someone is requesting 450k for block setting and plastering alone, please help with a reasonable amount for this workmanship.

You need to give clearer picture of the work to be done, what's the size of the area to be plastered? and also length of the fence

Don't know much about Court stuffs, but the way people are calling out for it here got me start thinking, personally I don't you guys have a case to take to the Court, I don't think there's any legal binding to force the NNPC management here... they can give thousands of reasons to why they put the recruitment on hold

Court wise I don't see any case, perhaps may be national assembly, using Media creating awareness etc might help ..... just saying

one more thing, how do you cope with workmanship? I have one site at pyakasa, opposite lugbe, the labourers n artisans in that axis aren't much professionals as per construction industry is concerned

For the concrete, you used 1:2:4, is the ratio by weight or by volume? can you share more light on this ?

Prepare this, do that, manage those etc....all these for 35K, I wonder wetin go remain after transport

I have an elder brother who graduated 6 years ago with a first class in electrical engineering, he obtained his msc from Ukraine, since then he has been less fortunate with jobs, all efforts to nail a good job prove abortive. He is underpaid where he is working now as programmer. my issue now is,i was shortlisted for NCS documentation and I'm not planning to take the job,I don't know if it will be possible to give him my credentials to embark on NCS screening since it is not doctored? the guy in question looks so much alike with me and studied the same profession with me, would it be possible for him to take over my position without affecting him in the service since I have moved on for something else.

From your write up the guy really needs it n he deserves it from you, but I'm a kind of person that likes to play safe, I don't wanna give room to my enemies, I don't know who, or when n through what means they will try to dig dirt on me.....I don't know you, but it's possible you might become an important person in the country in the future, n this kind of things are what will start haunting you n may be even your down fall...... play it safe, research n enquire more to see the implications, way the risks to reward ratio n see if the risk worth taking

Rather try get strong connect to change the APL from your name to his, I think that is doable n been done before....... peace

There's been a turmoil boiling in there between their GR and some staffs (Union department to be more precise), infact he transferred them (around 30 of them including the chairman of the union) all to other states like 2-3weeks ago, they filed some complaints in collaboration with NLC n NLC has issued a warning letter to the agency to reverse his action or they will storm the place....

i learnt a few clinics does refractive surgery in nigeria but haven't verified and of course trust it to be very expensive . You could also discuss with your Dr on using contact lenses if you are tired of using glasses regularly

and actually it's been a long time since I visited a doctor, cos Everytime I go there, it's just changing of glass lenses, nothing more n the sight keeps diminishing

That's the exact figure, my younger cousin is working there, entry level 10 is that amount, she entered there like 3years ago, na Fowler gave her the appointment himself, as of then the salary was around 200K, after getting her APL with couple of months, that's when they added an extra 50K to the 200K.... n it became what it's now

Ministry of foreign affairs, not so good, their salary is just like other ministries...don't have the idea of travelling to other countries just because you hear foreign in it's name, only the lucky ones get that privilege, if you believe you're among them, then fine for you, otherwise you'll be left with just your salary, not so much there as per your basic entitlement is concerned.....n for agencies under the ministry, I can't say much, but I believed most agencies are better than their mother ministry.... good luck
