Solidkay: Dear OP, thank you for your observation,
I'll like to point out to the fact that Nigeria as a nation is losing her grip on a whole lots of things if not all.
I'll also have to blame a government on this, both past and present,
Is it not in this same Nigeria that it has become a popular saying that a Yahoo boy has a brighter and better future than a 1st class graduate
And our education bodies proved them right by awarding a #100 cash prize award for a first class graduate
I stand to be corrected but everyone going into any reality show business has the sole objective of raking in millions, meanwhile the education sector doesn't look promising at all. |

UjuJoan2: Nawa ohh
Let me understand . . . you cheated on your wife and fell in 'lust' with the other woman (your wife's close friend), who is also married
Now she is cheating on your with both your bosses, and you are jealous and bitter. . . . emotions you have no business feeling, since she is not your wife and you are not her husband.
I would call this poetic justice if I wasn't feeling deeply sorry for your poor wife.
The woman is a sleeping around, her husband is sleeping around, you are sleeping with her therefore exposing your own wife to severe health risks and diseases. Oga, you will not make heaven oh.
Anyway, now that you have repented, you need to go back to work and learn your lesson. Of course the lady will come running back to you when she realizes your boss is just getting his own share of the National cake. I hope for your sake you will be strong enough to say NO!
That's the problem with you men. You have a loyal wife at home, yet chose to disgrace her by sleeping with her close friend, thinking she loves you. Hear me now . . . No woman will love you and be true to you more than your own wife. Instead of wasting time chasing shadows, consider going back to your wife and fixing that which you have broken, and restore the love you rightly owe her.
I hate cheating men with a passion, but I'm getting older and wiser, and decided not to be too harsh and judgemental. But just know that I'm saying a million mean things to you in my mind. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastors Buying Private Jets Won’t Make Heaven – Pastor Giwa by Timblaze(m): 8:29am On May 03, 2019 |
HigherEd: The jet in itself can never be the problem. With God, intentions really ultimately matters. God cursed Cain for Killing Abel from the wickedness of his heart. That same God vindicated Moses for killing the Egyptian who was oppressing the Israelites.
The Law of God states that "thou shalt not kill" yet David slew thousands and God never said a word. The day David murdered an innocent man and committed adultery, he paid dearly for it. What differentiated all these killings and their varied responses from God was motive.
If a person genuinely in his heart believes that a Private jet amplifies his capacity to preach the gospel then he should go ahead and purchase the jet. The wrong thing would be to buy it to show off or compete or to make such things priority over direct charity.
It's amazing but God does not hassle or compete with humans. The bible says in Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them"
Whatever you desire! The bible is making it clear that the desires of his children matters and is only secondary to God's desires... If as a Christian you desire poverty you will get poverty, if you desire wealth you will get wealth... preach on |
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastors Buying Private Jets Won’t Make Heaven – Pastor Giwa by Timblaze(m): 8:26am On May 03, 2019 |
lonelydora: Pastor Giwa, it's nobody's fault that your members are not very rich to gift you a PJ. Those pastors buying PJs are using it to propagate the word of God. That Jesus trekked during his time because there was no car/PJ doesn't mean Pastor should trek.
Do you think if Jesus existed now, he won't use a PJ? Jesus used a colt no one has rode on, meaning he wanted the best for himself.
If Dangote and Tony Elumelu owns PJs, why won't men of God own same too. "Every good thing comes from God" says the scripture. Na poor man dey talk say Guinness stout dey bitter.
The earlier you all change your mentality about Pastors, the better for you all.
That's how they also argue about using phones to read bible in church. We all should then go back to Scrolls and not even the paper bible.

Politics › Re: PDP Plans To Obtain A Court Injunction On Monday To Stop Announcement Of Results by Timblaze(m): 8:12am On Feb 25, 2019 |
Yankee101: Nigerians have an Esau spirit.
The ability to sell their birthright for a morsel of bread and a ladle of soup
The results at the polls are not being announced and much sorrow, blood.and tears have been shed at the polling units
Buharistans seek to force themselves back to power in a brazen manner. I've always said that if he accepts this, Tinubu's plans will pan out and Osinbanjo will become a puppet President. Be careful what you wish for.
I think it's high time i gave up on Nigeria. People like us will benefit no matter who is President. It will have just been nice if people that understood an economy, or can identify requisite talent needed to grow the country came to power. But i can't keep sending money to Nigerians to help feed, pay for school fees, go to the hospital etc If a nation cannot rise up and fulfil the true meaning of it's creed, i won't sacrifice myself for people unwilling to be saved. Even salvation in Christianity requires the sinner accepting salvation.
As you lay your bed, lay in it Nigerians. The economy will likely falter. Monies will be stolen. A new level of impunity (enter Ameachi, Yahaya Bello, Elrufai Et alia) will be unleashed. Lawlessness will grow like the pangs of childbirth without the ease of birthing. Generations will be born and die in Nigeria without knowing what kindness or a functional society looks like. Fulanis will rage. Yahoo, kidnapping and robbery due to hunger. Religious persecution will hover. Hunger will swallow the land. Unfortunately, it is the hardest Buhari fans that will be hardest hit. The iliterate almajiri, the fanatic young graduate looking for a job and the market women tricked by a 10k naira loan. INEC and other appointed officials will have lot's of looted money but no good roads to get them to a hospital on time when they fall ill. If there are, there won't be any good and qualified people at hand, becaise they've all fled to Asia, Europe, Americas or the Carribeans because of hunger, if they get a doctor or nurse there won't be any equipment or drugs to treat their ailments.
Rwanda was a war torn country in 1994, today she uses drones to deliver blood supplies to remote hospitals.
Ghana was chased out of Nigeria in the 80s with Ghana must go mantras, today nigerians are being chased out of ghana because we've overstayed our welcome.
We've had oil and gas for ages, now the Niger Delta is polluted, NNPC is richer than states and operating like a cult with secret transactions and accounts, pension funds of future generations is being looted, the people don't know or know but do nothing about it. No real ongoing investment in future technology. We don't have robotics, AI, Neural networks or chip making learning centres. We are walking into the 22nd century to compete with sticks and stones.
In the 80s you could go to Kaduna and get your UK visa same day via 3rd party submission, today there are no such consulates spread around or the liberty to travel to any nation of your choice. If you do you face scrutiny for your skin colour and the sins of your countrymen. Visas are harder and will continue to be harder. Only the best of Nigerians will get visas easily, allowed entrance to better other economies while naija suffers.
Neither Atiku nor Buhari were supposed to be elected president. Both have failed Nigerians at different times in history. Any of the young educated folks should have been better. But because only a major party can win an election, the choice became the best of 2 evils. Nigerians at various levels (military, INEC, even young corpers and some voters) decided that for a morsel and a ladle of soup, Nigeria's collective future was not important.
Adieu my former motherland.
If I've never settled for America in my heart, tonight as i cry for my old nation in my heart, i look to me new nation and tell myself with a sigh, WELCOME TO AMERICA! |
