I don't know why you have to quote me again when my initially responce to you met a curt "OK" as an answer. Why quoting me again? |

Ibime: Most deeplying playmakers do it more than him. Timbros is confused by YouTube compilation where they will take a whole year of actions and show them back to back. We watch the same 90 mins, bros does not lift his head to do those passes. Pogba, Debruyne, Henderson, Modric will do more of that in 7 games than Jogginghoe will do in a whole season. So it's not if he can do it BUT how many times he does it? We are gradually getting there. |

Ibime: We are talking of a precise assist, dropping the ball in a small pocket of space for striker to score, not throwing the ball into acres of space on the wing for fullback which midfielders do many times a game, much more than Jogginghoe. You said he's done plenty, remind us of one. I don't know how to post gifs or videos here that's why I referee you to YouTube. Whether the pass ended up as assist or not is out of Jorginho's hand. The recipient of the pass has the responsibility of converting the pass to an assist. |

Ibime: Please remind us when Jogginghoe assisted something like that without going back in ancient history.
Nothing wrong with Hojberg actions when Leeds hit the post. The ball was cleared by Spurs defence away from him into the Leeds player. Camera angle makes it look like ball dropped closer to him than it did. He still pressured the Leeds player to hit the post in the end What do you mean by ancient history? Even that assist yesterday is history now. Past. Whether one day ago or one year ago, it's history. Don't get me wrong. I never laid the blame on Horjberg for that incident or not. My point is, if it was Jorginho in that same position in that sequence, you guys will surely find a way to blame him. We wouldn't have heard how camera angle distort the positioning. AND Horjberg never pressured that guy. |

popizaino: I wanted to comment as the match was going on but I avoided it because I knew jorginho fan boys will bring something unrelated or completely different to compare with it or give stupid excuse that it is Lukaku who is too static to be assisted. What is special there that Jorginho haven't done over and over again? Go and watch the highlight of the first woodwork that Leeds hit. Focus on Horjberg (spell check) in that play sequence. If Jorginho did what Horjberg did there, we won't hear the end of it. He was just fortunate that the ball ended up hitting the bar. Just rest. The comparison is all in your head. |

raumdeuter: No one cares what you did some years back, football is about what you have done lately, That is why a Mourinho is at Roma nowadays Atletico will not be judged by where he met them 11yrs ago but where they should be right now. Na someone take take Barcelona from perennial UEFA cup team in the early 2000 to where they are one of Europe's elite, Na someone take Chelsea from midtable to one of Europe's elite, They have all continued to improve the team or left
Ferguson met Man Utd mid table when he first arrived, No one was expecting and telling him that Man utd should be midtable 15yrs into his reign. You think because Moyes met West Ham in lower half he would not be expected to take them above that? LvG took Bayern from UEFA cup to CL final within a year the moment he fell to 3rd in the league he was fired, No one was considering what he did for them 9months earlier
When you consider that his current squad has the likes of Felix, Griezmann, Lemar are all big money signings, Valencia Villareal and Deportivo are not his mates, None of them are buying a Griezmann or Felix type of player at this point.
If Tuchel goes on a losing run for 1-2months he would be sacked regardless of where he took the club from or what he won since he took over No one will give Tuchel a pass to finish 6th just because of where he took the team from or what laudable things he has won in this short time just like it was done for RdM
When the topic is Jorginho, Its you that will come and complain that no team plays defensive football to achieve anything, but when its Simeone now, Atletico should be content with fighting for 4th in La Liga and qualifying for CL knockouts with 7 points because of where he took them 11yrs ago
Simeone is one of the highest paid coaches in world football, So he is expected to be delivering like one all the time not just 7 or 5yrs ago Stop arguing just for the sake of arguement. 10 years before Simeone, Atletico have never made top 3 in LA Liga. 10 years after Simeone, Atletico have NEVER finished outside top 3. Consistency is the key world here. 2 LA Liga, 2 Europa, 2 UEFA Super Cup, 2 UCL finals, 1 Copa Del Rey, 1 Spanish Super Cup..... This is not a flash in the pan. His consistency will make Atletico NOT to sack him even if he have a terrible season now. No be everything be arguement. |

Amoto94: Then giving his thoughts on the Italian, he said: "I would say I don't have words, for the fact that I learn a lot watching his teams as a manager, the movement and many things.
"He showed it at Juventus, (Inter) Milan, Chelsea, and if the club rely on him 100 per cent they'll have success.
"My first season here was tough in terms of results. Every manager needs time, needs investment, needs many, many things to be there for a long time or have success, especially in this country.
"I have incredible respect for the fact that when I watch his teams I feel there is something new I can learn, and I can improve.
"He arrived (at Chelsea in 2016) and his impact was clear, many teams started to play five at the back. He won the league fantastically well. What happened after, in the second season, I'm not involved. But I think he made his stamp on this league and especially his players."
Guardiola added: "Arriving as a manager in the middle of the season and changing many things is not easy.
"In this country, play every three days, a lot of games, and all the managers need time, and unfortunately in football, we don't have time. I had time - the club gave me this time, and I'm grateful, but all the managers need time, to try to convince the players to follow what you feel."

I think Tuchel and chelsea board want to do a swap deal with Tottenham for Kane so they keep on playing him not to at least reduced his price tag too much. Football is an entertainment to we fans but mostly business for club owner and his workers. Rest with this your wishful thinking. Levy can NEVER sanction that trade. You know how stubborn Levy is. Add the London rivalry thing in the equation. Nothing indicates that Conte need Lukaku (I say need, not want). And let's be honest, if dem bring Kane and Lukaku side by side, no coach will choose Lukaku ahead of Kane. Rest with the agenda. |

Raumdeuter as a football loving fan living in Yankee, I want to direct this question to u you specifically.
Super Bowl vs Champions League final, which is bigger? Put everything in consideration. Money, prestige, viewership etc etc.... Which of them is bigger?
The average American will say Super Bowl while the average European will say Champions League. But from a neutral perspective, I want to know which is bigger.
Every other person can contribute. Especially those living in diaspora.

You compared him to Klopp, calling me to see, I then brought it to your notice that he hasn’t won any trophy from the scratch for Chelsea.
For him to achieve that, he’ll need to beat that same Klopp you compared him to. Saying he hasn't started and finished a tournament is watering down the trophies he won. In less than 400 days, he has won 3 quarter of what Klopp has won in more than 5 years.... And all you could say is him winning a tournament he started? |

The above statement is a fact. It doesn’t matter if they are currently playing in UCL or not, it’s a fact that they won’t win it this season. Same way it’s a fact that Tuchel hasn’t won any tournament he started for Chelsea.
At least wait for him to win Klopp in Carabo cup before you start defending that statement. Why do you feel the need to constantly point that out? Does it in any way reduce the impact of his trophy haul so far? I can even say that your notion is very wrong because he started and finished the UEFA Super Cup which ended in a trophy. |
