And FYI, Chelsea was actually a solid side right before the criminal bought us, we were constantly in top 6 at least 8 years before he did. I think we even got to the UCL semifinals before he came. I am not criticizing the players individually but the set-up. Our system lost to their system. Our midfielders individually are better than their midfielders individually. Tuchel should have played all three together.

If we were to play 3 of them at once, it means we would have sacrificed the fluidity of that front 3 or played 4 at the back.

Playing 3 at the back meant Chalobah and Rudiger kept Diaz and Salah quiet all day.

Imho our tactics was spot on. We did everything right except put our chances away...
