This is not about fantasy football, it is about accepting that this players are not good enough for Chelsea pedigree. Though I didn't watch today's game but with what I was reading here I began to imagine the players that could take on the game on his own but alas there was none. I dont know who to bring in but I am sure there are several players who wont cost a dime and would give us more than what all this players would have given us. Zaha for example won't be as useless as any of pulisic and ziyech neither will coutinho a proven, tested and trusted attacking midfielder who I have long advocated for before he went on injury would have done better than Havertz and mount COMBINED without us going to break the bank . As for me experience over all this unproven youth players .

i'm not an ageist but once a player gets to 27 years, for me their career is over, unless it's Ronaldo or messi level of player and kane isn't, his injuries are ankle injuries, those ones get worst as the player grows older, we should commit all our resources to haaland, we have a project with young players asides mount that should entice the guy, we can get messi, it's not beyond the realm of possibility, he will boost our brand and draw alot of clout to the club.

No one is hyping Mount but many people can't stand the criticism meted out on him and they feel they have to defend him, although some do that to the detriment of Havertz (which I am against.)

There is room for improvement and, at his age, Mount will definitely improve. Zidane and Iniesta didn't become world class in the blink of an eye.

Mount is not the type of player you rate with goals and assist just like iniesta, they are crucial players for any coach or team. Mata with all his goals and assist only few coaches that can use him, he is average in his primary duty as a player. Mata play like Bernardo sylva in his prime.
