hensben: Was last game against Liverpool not a prove enough, I mean he had a winger on the bench or warner that will be more suitable as a winger so that giroud play CF. 1st half against Liverpool, Havertz played number 9 in a 451 formation with Werner and Mount on the wings keeping eye on TAA and Robertson respectively. Havertz only swapped positions with Werner few periods in the game. I asked you a question you didn't answer. Do you think Lampard will play Havertz in the wing if natural wingers (Pulisic and Ziyech) are available? |

My last experience of driving via Owerrinta connecting Etche through PH was hell. And it is hellish when it rains
I don tell my maami say na video call for now.
Last week my buddy asked to pay me to use my car to Umuahia whereas he has his own car o

I no fit use that Owerrinta road. It's better I reach Control, Owerri then start head to PH. I doubt if PH - Aba expressway can EVER be smooth from beginning to end. DExponential: Our players don't like looking up. See Werner and Havertz again This would have been a clear run on goal. Fabinho wanted to play the offside trap but Werner was clearly onside. With his pace, Warner could have been face to face with the keeper in less than 2 seconds... Put Jorginho in Mount's place in this exact setting, Werner should have had a goal to his name by now. |

Skimpledawg: Yes o. Drove past there last week and the progress of the work there is amazing.
Garrison flyover is near completion as well. I give it to Wike, man is trying.
But, I have reservations. Who should shoulder the responsibility of Etche-Umuahia road? Federal or State cos that road is badly bad. Can't even go back to see my parents at Abia cos of how bad the road is. I dey pity my car.
Also Ph-Aba road, who go do am? Person no fit travel again cos say road no good. Etche-Umuahia na Federal I guess. But the PH-Aba from Intels to Oyigbo one lane is done now... The worst area now is that Imo gate axis towards Obehie (which is in Abia State). I only drive my car to Aba when it is absolutely necessary. The last time I drove to Aba, I regretted it. Coming back, I even contemplated connecting Owerri then PH.... That is how much I regretted using my car. I've not been to Garrison in ages. |

izzou: Nowhere did I blame the loss on Jorginho. My annoyance is why he couldn't score it, knowing how crucial it was needed.
For one to win a match, you need to score. I'm just surprised some people feel it's normal to lose that , coupled with the fact that it was nonsense sef It's his first miss in 9 EPL penalties so let's cut him some slack. It's unfortunate that he missed in a crucial moment. |

izzou: If Kepa didn't happen, we would still have lost...
You can't say we were still in the game, and act like the penalty miss wasn't that important
It was I don't like doing the "if" thing in football. But if you want to go that lane, let's go there... If Jorg scored that penalty, it would have been 1-2 and we would have still lost. BUT If Kepa didn't happen, it would still be 0-1 till the penalty. If Jorg scored, it would be 1-1 and we get a point. Kepa made the whole match hopeless. At 0-1, we just needed one moment of magic, one set piece, one free kick, anything to score and we level it. But at 0-2 its impossible to come back in the game. N.B: I'm NOT justifying Jorginho's miss. I was really mad at him.... After all the hard work Werner put in to get that penalty. BUT Kepa is to blame 98%. |

popizaino: Sure...... I would like the later, but that's not to say lampard should be losing back to back against his pairs. In fact 2010 under ancelloti proves that knowing how to win big teams goes along way in securing the title . You can't compare our squad of 2010 to today. Those were seasoned men in the game. Lampard is building for the future. Majority of our players now are in their early 20s. Think about how this group of players will be in 4 or 5 years time if we can keep them all together. I'm not too bothered about this season or next. My problem is for this players to stay together for as long as possible. We will still dominate England and Europe. I'm very sure of that. Its just irritating the kind of instant success people expect from the club right now. Is it because of pressure of the unnecessary trolling going on here? Maybe. |

izzou: So because people lose, that's enough justification for anybody that loses?
Apart from the first goal which I understand was clinically taken, there is no justification for Jorginho to throw away that chance just because "anybody can lose it"
See the weak penalty sef He is not justifying Jorg. Penalty miss happens. That's football. What rarely happens is a keeper assisting an opposing striker to score. At 0-1 we were still in the game till Kepa happened. |

BikeMan: We were playing a balanced game until Chris had to do what he did (knowing the kind of keeper he has, I doubt he would have done that with Cech behind him). It was still a game we could have held our own until Kepa gifted another goal.
I'll give Lampard one more week to fix his shît because this is not the team we want to see. I'll wait for him to start using a front four of Pulisic, Havertz, Ziyech, and Werner. So far he's just struggling with drab football. One week or what? Make una stop all this rubbish wey una dey type abeg. Its irritating to read. |

popizaino: No....... but there is something called bragging rights and aside that, it also helps to boost your teams confidence going forward. Bragging rights you say? Ask Man United fans how their bragging rights is going... If you want to win EPL, beat the smaller teams thoroughly, then get as much points as possible from your rivals. Would you rather win big teams and go trophyless or lose to the big teams but win trophies? |
