What is the experience so far?

What stacks do you use now? Do you still code PHP?

Well it’s been a great experience so far. Yes I still code in PHP. Js and python also. Most notable experience is that I was able to develop myself to consult for foreign companies and work with developers from around the globe.

By the way, I am a lead software engineer(a junior engineer when I started this thread ) and can offer one on one training and also mentor you on how to be a senior software engineer plus tips on how to get remote jobs with foreign companies.
Nb. The services are for a fee.

9 years later. PHP has really evolved since then and I actually still use it a lot in my day to day tasks.

is it public universities with lecturers using same notes since 2010 that are not glorified secondary schools smh. Go to LinkedIn and see where products of private uni are. The creators of jobberman and paystack were private uni graduates.

Easy man. Jobberman founders graduated from OAU.
Summary is that creating good products does not depend on whether you attended a private or public Uni.

Well, it's more like a full time remote job. Most of these software engineering remote roles works the same way I guess.

Job Description: Translating business logic to code, writing unit tests, reviewing PR's, conducting Interviews, software architecture. I use primarily PHP, Python, JS and any other language as required by the project at hand.

You should be able to earn much more than that. I think you should subtly ask for a raise. If you are a valued member of the team, I'm sure you will be obliged. Been working remotely for almost four years now as a Senior software engineer/Tech Lead, I am fortunate that the company is in UK, which is virtually same time zone as Nigeria.

Omo I Tried making a payment with one website like this , No verification nothing at all within seconds My Money disappeared and normally have to verify with OTp and other stuffs but This one just removed 96k from my account no questions, I got WHAT I bought sha but I still deactivated the card and Transfered all the money to My other account and deactivated the Atm Card too it was really scary walai. And OP, Since the Bank said they deactivated you card, They should be held responsible.

Most likely no issues with the website. Most foreign sites , all you need to make payment with your card is the card number, the security digit at the back of the card and that's it. That's why it's not good to have one's ATM lying carelessly around.
