One shouldn’t even pay more than 70k for core i3 laptop. All these other specs mentioned are just market terms and not the most important things.

if this hits the right check marks like , gpu, cpu, display, ram and ssd efficiency, tecno would be loosing if they price this anything below 300k. Now if you price this 300k, I can get a MacBook for 350k , that will outperform this laptop due to optimization , get years of OS update and still give one a social status (let’s not pretend Nigerians don’t worship apple). Or with 300k, you can get an atleast decent gaming windows. Hope you get my drift .

But even as at now, I believe they are printing more Naira. The inflation we are expressing recently is caused by not putting those money (and it converted currency) into a productive use that's why it is causing inflation we are currently experiencing. So what I am saying is that we can take out the bad effects of printing more money strategically by using the printed money to increasing cum invest in plants and machines so as to increase productivity to beat its negative effects.

to achieve this perfect country you dream of, the government, CBN governor and banks must swear and agree to be transparent with the naira and dollar. They’ll swear not to keep money meant to be circulating, they’ll fund the educational system, get rid of these useless agencies handling projects , be ready to really invest in the production sector if the country, and trully get rid of tribal or sentimental appointments to those that will handle this productivity increase. If all these aren’t done first before printing more naira and making it public that more money was printed? Nigeria will enter Recession pro max Ultra.

If you are working for a private company, firm or person, expect all this nonsense.

Price range is what matters most, if the price is closer to a Macbook, Samsung laptop or other higher end laptops, why will I go for this?. Price will determine if this is a success or not.

Even if it was not used to acquire plant and machines, as is it now, majority of the printed money will end up in a very limited private pockets, which still in turn won't cause hyperinflation but better the economy a bit (under some conditions). However what may complicate things is if, those that ended in private pockets are being changed to dollars at the same time, this will cause many naira pursuing few dollars. Doing so would put more demand on dollar and could affect common goods (as we are still majorly import dependant). Printing more Naira can still be helpful but we have to be really strategic about it.

Kudos to your explanation. However, Nigeria's situation deterred most globally known theories from having effects due to a lot of peculiarities/variables because of our creativity (both negatively and positively). The true value of money is in productivity and the real sense of productivity resides with peoples' capacity and the resources under them. Print more money will help our economy at this time provided it is directly to acquiring plant and machines that will boast our productivity.
