It's so funny how vultures and hyenas are coming all out to concoct all kinds of lies and propaganda just for the aim of grabbing power. Does Sule Lamido expect President Tinubu to announce his name among the heros of Democracy and confer on him an award following his ignoble role during June 12 annulment?. That would amount to pissing on the graves of the heros of Democracy. Does Lamido think history can be revised or rewritten?, unfortunately, he will have to live and die with the memories of his actions dinning with the devil.
It is funny how opposition are saying all sorts thinking that's the only way to curry public sympathy for votes. It's funny hearing Obi say Nigeria economy is crumbling yet Fidelity Bank which he owns 10% equity is declaring humongous amount of billions, Obi as we speak is one of the largest single importer of consumer goods in Nigeria yet he claims the economy is crumbling. In another instances, he claimed democracy is dead yet he criticizes everything and goes scot free, the kind of statements he can never utter in Niger Republic or Burkina Faso and get away with it.
Ameachi says he is hungry after 24 years in the corridor of power but he is presently collecting retirement benefits as an ex speaker and former Governor, even being a former minister, he still enjoys certain privileges than an average Nigerian.
However, one surest thing is the FACT that all the gang ups, coalition and frivolities cannot stop Asiwaju as the annoited man. He has been there before, seen it, done it. All these are nothing but child's play. There's a popular saying that Tinubu no be GEJ, let that sink in.

Politics › How Lamido Traded Off Abiola’s Mandate, By Dele Alake by TimeManager(op): 8:24am On Jun 23, 2025 |
One-time Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido yesterday came under scathing criticism from Solid Minerals Minister Dele Alake.
It was over what Alake called Lamido’s incoherent account of the June 12, 1993 presidential election. The former governor had faulted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s acclaimed role in the crusade to actualize the election, the results of which were annulled by military president Gen. Ibrahim Babangida.
Speaking on a national television on the saga, Lamido claimed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was part of the people who supported the annulment of the election.
According to him, Tinubu’s mother, the late Alhaja Abibat Mogaji organised market women from Lagos, to come to Abuja and show support for the then Head of State.
Lamido also claimed that the National Democractic Coalition (NADECO) was formed to fight for the late Gen. Sani Abacha and not June 12.
But Alake berated Lamido, who was the secretary of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), accusing him of teaming up with others to trade off the election won by the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola.
Featuring on a national television last night, described Lamido’s claims as tissues of lies from the pit of hell.
He said Tinubu gave everything he had towards the reclaiming of Abiola’s mandate.
“I feel very appalled at his own submissions, which I’ll ascribe largely to amnesia or at the very worst, an impairment of oblongata or memory loss in layman’s terms.
“Sule Lamido himself was the guilty party to the annulment of that June 12, 1999 election.
“Sule Lamido did not know so many things. He was Secretary of the SDP. Prior to this time, he was posturing as a leftist. The late Tony Anenih was the chairman.
“Unknown to Lamido, Tinubu played a major role in the emergence of MKO as a candidate well before the election.
“There were two factions that formed the nucleus of the SDP.
“One, the Peoples’ Front was led by the late Gen. Musa Yar’Adua, the second, the Peoples Social Party (PSP) was led by the late Alhaji Lateef Jakande, the late Adekunle Ajasin etc.
“These two caucuses formed the SDP. Tinubu belonged to the Yar’Adua faction. But on the formation of SDP, it became one party.
“The groundswell for MKO to become the candidate of the party at the Jos Convention was overwhelming.
“There was a stalemate. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar also ran as an aspirant in SDP since 1993. Atiku has been at the game since then. Babagana Kingibe ran.
“There was a stalemate in the first ballot between Kingibe and MKO. Then, there was horse trading to get Atiku to drop his ambition and align with the MKO group.
“This same Tinubu was one of the key people that led the negotiations to persuade Atiku to drop his own aspiration and align with MKO. This eventually happened.
“When the second ballot was conducted, it was obvious that MKO coasted home to victory. While that election was going, myself, Tunji Bello, Segun Babatope, were drafting MKO’s speech, which he read.
“After negotiations, the Yar’Adua faction had the upper hand and that was why Lamido became the secretary of the party.
“Then, the campaign for the election began. And Tinubu threw everything he had at it. So, it is totally false to say Tinubu only became popular after the annulment of June 12.
Alake faulted Lamido’s claim that Tinubu supported the cancellation of the election was an attempt to the former Jigawa State governor to cover up his evil deeds.
The minister said: “That is totally false and revisionism; it is an attempt for Lamido to cover his pernicious role in supporting that critical sacred mandate given to MKO.
“Lamido and SDP chairman sold out MKO’s mandate by accepting the National Interim Government (NIG).”
The explained that the late Alhaja Magaji went to plead with the late Abacha to restore MKO’s mandate.
Aside from actively supporting MKO Abiola and being one of those that convinced Atiku Abubakar to step down for him, he stated that even when he was behind bars, Tinubu was still funding the movement against the military.
“Tinubu was one of the funders and one of the organisers, one of the planners of all the protests, July 23, 24, 25 of 1993 against the annulment. This was way before Abacha. Abacha did not come until November 17, 1993,’’ Alake maintained.
He highlighted various instances to show that there was no truth in Lamido’s narrative, stating that it was Tinubu, for instance, that escorted MKO to go and see Abacha to negotiate how Abacha would relinquish office and hand over back to MKO.
“If Tinubu was working for Abacha, how would he be doing that? How would he be confronting Abacha frontally that he was in detention. And in fact, there was a time they issued a directive that he must be found, he must be brought in dead or alive.
“It was at that point he had to leave through the famous NADECO route. The Abacha goons were all over looking for him. And I remember that. So that was the reason that he left. So he didn’t run away,” Alake stated in his defence of the President. https://thenationonlineng.net/how-lamido-traded-off-abiolas-mandate-by-alake/

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has named a newly completed specialist hospital after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in recognition of his leadership and commitment to national development.
The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Specialist Hospital, unveiled on Thursday during the President’s visit to inaugurate key projects across the state, houses nine wings, including maternal and child health, radiology and imaging, intensive care, and special care units.
At the event, Governor Sani disclosed that the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority had approved the establishment of a cancer treatment and nuclear facility within the hospital complex.
He, however, appealed to President Tinubu to assist in actualising the cancer centre.
“That’s the only thing missing,” the governor said.
“We are seeking Mr President’s intervention to help us complete this critical component.”
In his response, President Tinubu praised the Kaduna governor for his vision and people-focused governance.
“We’ve witnessed progress. You prioritise people. It is only a far-sighted leader who cares about his people that can establish this for their health care needs. I am very proud of what you are doing,” he said.
“I can assure you that our intervention is not in vain, and we will grant it.”
President Tinubu arrived in Kaduna to a warm reception led by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin; and the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli.

Travel › US Clarifies New Visa Review Not A Travel Ban On Nigeria, Others by TimeManager(op): 9:09pm On Jun 19, 2025 |
The United States government has clarified that a proposed visa review affecting 36 countries is not a blanket travel ban on Africa or Nigeria.
The announcement came during a press briefing on Monday, where US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce addressed concerns raised by journalists about the status of the plan.
Bruce, in a June 17 press briefing in Washington, DC, said the move is guided by national security requirements outlined in President Donald Trump’s Executive Order 14161, which mandates stricter scrutiny of visa applicants to ensure they do not pose a threat to US public safety.
However, she stressed that geography is not a factor in the decision-making process. “The continent or location of a country is not a consideration,” she said. “This is about whether we can trust the visa information provided by each country.”
The visa review is aimed at assessing how well foreign governments manage key processes such as identity verification, security information sharing, handling of visa overstays, and cooperation with the US on deportations. Nations that do not meet the US standard will be asked to make improvements and will be given time to do so.
Contrary to reports suggesting a June 18 deadline for countries to submit action plans, Bruce said that was incorrect.
“They will have a considerable amount of time to rectify whatever the situation is,” she explained. “The goal is to reach a point where we can trust the process and the information provided by these countries. That’s how we determine visa eligibility.”
For Nigeria, this means no immediate travel restrictions but a continued need for cooperation with US authorities on visa documentation, security vetting, and related processes.
Nigeria was previously affected by a similar policy in 2020, when it was added to a list of countries with restricted access to certain types of US visas due to concerns over data sharing and terrorist watchlist information. After high-level engagement and system upgrades, Nigeria was eventually removed from that list.
This latest review appears to follow a similar structure, giving countries an opportunity to fix identified weaknesses rather than imposing automatic bans.
For thousands of Nigerians seeking student visas, work permits, and tourism access to the US, the key will be how well the government continues to collaborate with Washington on security and identity verification procedures. https://guardian.ng/news/us-clarifies-new-visa-review-not-a-travel-ban-on-nigeria-others/0

As part of the committee, Governors of neighboring states were also included, it shows the President 's deep knowledge of security mechanism, you cannot always watch over your own roof, you need your neighbors to watch over each other's roof. Ordinarily, these affected states should have a common channel for sharing Intel among themselves, fighting insecurity individually wouldn't be much effective. May God bless Nigeria.

Politics › Value Of Human Life Greater Than That Of Cows - Tinubu by TimeManager(op): 7:46am On Jun 19, 2025 |
President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday set up a committee to help restore sustainable peace to Benue State following last Friday’s massacre in Yelewata community in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, which saw around 200 people killed.
Members of the peace committee selected by the President include former Military Governor of Benue State, Gen Atom Kpera (retd.), Senator George Akume, Senator Gabriel Suswam and Samuel Ortom — all former Benue governors. The Paramount Ruler of Tiv Nation and Chairman, Traditional Council, Benue State, HRM Prof. James Ayatse and Paramount Ruler of Idomaland, the Ochidoma, HRM Dr John Elaigwu, are also on the team.
Advising the Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, on the importance of stakeholder management for peaceful and progressive governance, Tinubu urged the governor to champion the activities of the peace committee, which also includes federal officials, and non-indigenes living in the state.
“Let us meet again in Abuja. Let’s fashion out a framework for lasting peace. I am ready to invest in that peace. I assure you, we will find peace. We will convert this tragedy into prosperity,” the President told Alia at a town hall meeting at the Benue State Government House banquet hall in Makurdi, the capital city.
The meeting included the Secretary to the Federal Government, George Akume, traditional rulers and former governors of the state. The governors of Kwara, Imo, Kogi, Plateau, Ondo, and Nasarawa also attended the meeting.
Tinubu stated that the peace effort would yield sustainable results only if it were broad-based and collaborative, calling for synergy with neighbouring Nasarawa State, whose governor, Abdullahi Sule, was also present at the meeting.
“I want the traditional rulers — the Tor Tiv, the Och’Idoma and others to be included in this peace committee.
“The Governor of Nasarawa is here and the Governor of Benue is here, let’s create that synergy for peace, development, and prosperity.
“We’re here to govern, not to bury. We’re here to raise families, not to lose some,” he said.
The President called on the people of Benue to support Governor Alia, urging communities to embrace peace and inclusion.
“This is a very critical time. The governor needs your help. Let’s have a committee with non-indigenes incorporated."
He assured the state of the Federal Government’s backing and his personal resolve to end the cycle of bloodshed, saying,
“I give you the assurance that we will find peace, we will convert this tragedy to prosperity again and again.”
At Wednesday’s town hall meeting, Tinubu directed the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, to immediately arrest those who perpetrated the heinous killings.
“I expect there should be an arrest of those criminals. Let’s get those criminals,” Tinubu told the IGP.
While thanking the military high command for their response so far, the President expressed dissatisfaction at the lack of arrests days after the mass slaughter.
“Police, I hope your men are on alert to listen to information. How come no arrest has been made? I expect there should be an arrest of those criminals.
“Christopher (Chief of Defence Staff), thank you very much. I watched your comments. I know you can’t be tired of staying in the bush, including Oluyede (Chief of Army Staff) and the Air Marshal.
“Thanks to all of you, but we need to keep our ears to the ground. Let’s get those criminals, let’s get them out,” he said.
Tinubu also charged the heads of intelligence agencies to improve their surveillance and response systems.
“DG NIA and DG DSS, retool your information channels and let’s have tangible intelligence that this will not occur again,” the President said.
He urged Governor Alia to allocate land for ranching and directed the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security to follow up.
He called for blood donations to support those receiving treatment at the Benue State Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, where he had earlier visited victims and medical staff.
While underscoring the importance of peace for sustainable development, President Tinubu implored the Governor to ensure Benue was peaceful, adding that the circumstances of his visit this time should not have been a reason to visit.
“I wanted to come here to commission projects, to reassure you of hope and prosperity, not to see gloomy faces. But peace is vital to development,” he said.
“The value of human life is greater than that of a cow. We were elected to govern, not to bury people.
“Governor Alia, you were elected under the progressive banner to ensure peace, stability, and progress. You are not elected to bury people or comfort widows and orphans. We will work with you to achieve that peace. You must also work with us.
“Not everyone will like you in politics. They hate me, too — like hell. But here I am, still your President. I made a promise to protect democracy, freedom, and prosperity, even for my abusers and accusers. That’s leadership.”
Alia’s plea
In his remarks, Governor Alia appealed to the Federal Government to establish a Special Intervention Fund for communities affected by repeated violent attacks across Benue State.
“Your Excellency, while we continue to mourn our losses and rebuild from the ashes of pain, we humbly urge the Federal Government to consider establishing a special intervention fund for communities affected by these incessant attacks in Benue State,” he said.
Governor Alia said the fund would support the rehabilitation of displaced persons, reconstruction of destroyed homes and infrastructure, and the restoration of livelihoods, especially for farmers.
He reiterated his support for establishing state police as a lasting solution to insecurity, while pledging his administration’s full commitment to building a safe, stable, prosperous Benue State.
Also speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Benue State Traditional Council, Tor Tiv, Orchivirigh Prof. James Ayatse, praised President Tinubu for being the first sitting President to personally visit victims in the hospital in the wake of such a tragedy.
On the recurring spate of insecurity in the state, the monarch took time to address misinformation and mischaracterisation, saying that land grabbing was at the core of the decades-long conflict.
“Your Excellency, it is not herder-farmer clashes. It is not communal clashes. It is not reprisal attacks or skirmishes.
“What we are dealing with here in Benue is a calculated, well-planned, full-scale genocidal invasion and land-grabbing campaign by herder-terrorists and bandits,” the monarch told Tinubu.
He cautioned that mischaracterising the crisis had led to inadequate responses and accused some political actors of exploiting the situation for selfish gains.
“Politicians in the state are busy politicising the crisis, passing blames instead of joining hands to address the crisis. We hear that some politicians would even prefer that the crisis worsen, so it would serve as a basis for declaring a state of emergency.
“This is unfortunate. Any politician who prays for more people to die for such a project is working against the wishes of the people of Benue State,” he said.
He therefore appealed to President Tinubu to restore peace to the state and every part of Nigeria.
“All we ask of you, sir, is to stop our weeping. Give us peace in Benue State, so our people, primarily farmers, can return to their farms and continue to produce food for Nigeria.
“I heard a story about a challenge in a place in Kwara State, and you rose and gave them peace in Kaiama. You can do that for Benue.”
Killings condemned
Meanwhile, the Northern Elders Forum on Wednesday strongly condemned what it described as the persistent wave of killings and violence engulfing Benue State.
It described the situation as “genocide” and a direct consequence of government inaction, political complicity, and systemic collapse. In a statement signed by its spokesperson, Professor Abubakar Jiddere, the forum stated,
“The situation has degenerated into unrestrained bloodshed and lawlessness, turning communities into killing fields and exposing the utter collapse of governance, accountability, and security.
“Benue State, one of Nigeria’s critical agricultural hubs, plays a vital role in national food production, youth and women’s employment, and economic stability. Today, this once-thriving state is under siege.
“The lives of its innocent citizens are being violently cut short, and its socio-economic structure is being systematically destroyed, while the government stands by in silence, helplessness, or worse, complicity.”
It added, “In Guma and Logo local government areas, another 200 lives were wiped out. Thousands have been displaced into squalid, unsafe IDP camps with no access to healthcare, clean water, or basic necessities.
“Medical services are overstretched and collapsing. Women, children, and the elderly are dying in silence while the government looks away.
“Let it be clearly stated: this is not an ethnic conflict, as it is deceptively portrayed. It is an internal political crisis, one that has been allowed to fester due to criminal negligence, partisan interests, and a complete failure of leadership.”
Also, a religious group, the Concerned Christian Youth Forum, expressed concern over the recent spate of violence in Benue State, calling on authorities to strengthen efforts to restore peace and protect lives.
In a statement on Wednesday by its convener, James Adama, the group appealed to young people in the state to remain vigilant and play a role in safeguarding their communities, while urging leaders at all levels to take decisive steps toward enhancing security.
[The group said, “The systematic extermination of innocent civilians has reached a level that words cannot adequately describe.
“The suffering of the Benue people is a tragic reminder of our collective failure to protect them from those who seek to continue the rain of violence and chaos.
“We mourn with the families who have lost loved ones and call for urgent action to ensure peace and stability return to the affected areas.
“We stand in solidarity with you and are committed to working together to ensure that justice is served and that the perpetrators of these heinous acts are held accountable for their actions.” https://punchng.com/tinubu-assembles-top-brass-ex-govs-to-end-benue-killings/

Politics › National Assembly Transmits Landmark Tax Reform Bills To Tinubu by TimeManager(op): 2:14pm On Jun 18, 2025 |
In a significant step towards overhauling Nigeria’s fiscal framework, the National Assembly has transmitted the landmark tax reform bills to President Bola Tinubu for assent, marking a critical phase in the implementation of the administration’s Renewed Hope economic agenda.
Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Senator YemiAdaramodu, confirmed the transmission during a press briefing at the National Assembly complex yesterday.
He disclosed that the harmonisation process between the Senate and the House of Representatives had been concluded, paving the way for the final legislative action.
“Yes, the bill has now been transmitted. It is out of our hands and on its way to the executive,” Adaramodu stated.
The legislative package comprises four key bills: the Joint Revenue Board (Establishment) Bill, the Nigeria Revenue Service (Establishment) Bill, the Nigeria Tax Administration Bill, and the Nigeria Tax Bill. Collectively, they aim to modernise tax collection processes, broaden the tax base, and enhance coordination across all levels of government.
Originally submitted in November 2024, the bills underwent scrutiny, multiple revisions, and intense negotiations before being passed by both chambers. Adaramoduemphasised the necessity of the extended legislative process.
He said: “Tax legislation of this magnitude requires detailed examination. Our legal departments had to ensure alignment with existing statutes before the final transmission to the Presidency. It’s not something that happens in two or three days,” he explained.
He noted the role of joint committees, legal review teams, and document aggregation in shaping the final drafts.
Following the harmonisation, the final documents were signed by the Senate President and the Speaker of the House before being sent to the Presidency.
Just last week, Senate President GodswillAkpabio credited the eventual passage of the bills to what he described as “national interest, inclusive legislative engagement, and strategic leadership.”
Among the more contentious provisions was an initial proposal allowing tax-generating states to retain 60 per cent of Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue. The clause triggered fierce opposition, especially from lawmakers representing Northern states who raised concerns over regional economic disparities.
A compromise was later reached, reducing the retention rate to 30 per cent and replacing the term “derivation” with the more neutral “place of consumption.”
The reform process also faced pushback from state governors and divisions within the legislature. Nonetheless, Akpabio lauded the eventual consensus and praised House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas for uniting younger legislators around the national cause.
He said, “We must commend the courage of our governors who, despite initial resistance, accepted the revised framework in the spirit of unity.” If signed into law, the bills will usher in one of the most sweeping overhauls of Nigeria’s tax and revenue administration systems in decades—streamlining tax oversight, promoting fiscal federalism, and plugging longstanding leakages across government revenue channels. https://www.thisdaylive.com/2025/06/18/national-assembly-transmits-landmark-tax-reform-bills-to-tinubu/

Also in Abia, Mr President is building the Abia airport despite the Governor being a member of LP. In Anambra, Soludo couldn't be happier, In Ebonyi, several road projects are ongoing. Mr President has also created a SE Commission to rebuild the region which has been the clarion call of the people since the end of the civil war. Politics › Stop Disrespecting Tinubu - Maharaj Ji Warns Hakeem Baba Ahmed by TimeManager(op): 8:13pm On Jun 16, 2025 |
The Spiritual Founder of the One Love Love Family and the Living Perfect Master, Sat Guru Maharaj Ji has berated the former spokesman of Northern Elders Forum (NEF) Hakeem Baba-Ahmed for criticizing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, a former political adviser to President Bola Tinubu, recently on Channels Television criticised the current administration, saying it has failed to improve the quality of life of the average Nigerian and also the quality of governance.
“Clearly, the Tinubu administration has failed expectations that it was going to radically improve the quality of governance,” he said on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm programme aired on Tuesday.
Baba-Ahmed, a former Spokesperson for the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), stated that the removal of the petrol subsidy by the Tinubu government has significantly impacted the quality of life for average Nigerians.
Sat Guru Maharaj Ji, while reacting to Hakeem Baba-Ahmed’s critique through a press statement made available to journalists in Ibadan, the capital City of Oyo State. on Monday described his statement as mere rants and threats targeted at President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
A copy of the statement made available to DAILY INDEPENDENT stated this:
“By the Grace, I have listened to Hakeem Baba Ahmed’s series of rants and threats targeted at President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in almost all the grandstand.
“At this stage of Hakeem’s shameless public display of lack of common sense and decorum like the spoilt child of a rich armed robber, I insist that the former spokesman of Northern Elders Forum (NEF) must be put in his cattle place.
”President Tinubu gave childish Hakeem an appointment which he – Hakeem Baba Ahmed, dumped and went to town claiming and accusing all sorts against Mr President. Hakeem Baba Ahmed is at liberty to be infantile at his age but not to the extent of spitting at the President of Nigeria.
“There is a very big difference between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The former is the current occupier of the highest office in Nigeria, while the later is a regular citizen of Nigeria.
“As spokesman of Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Hakeem was (and apparently still is) the flippant mascot of Fulani political domination of Nigeria. If he has any axe to grind against the person of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he should wait till after Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s tenure as President of Nigeria expires. So long as Bola Ahmed Tinubu exists as President of Nigeria, Hakeem Baba Ahmed must give him his due respect as President, not as his political colleague or as his Muslim comrade.
“If Hakeem insists otherwise, I will personally see that he is deported to Mauritania, his original country (i.e. his actual country). So far, Hakeem Baba Ahmed has been a most nuisance member of the Koran – wielding and British (and Saudi) supervised feudalist coven that ran Nigeria aground.
“If in the estimation of Hakeem and his group of feudal Arewa fellows, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is bad, I say all members of NEF are far worse, individually and collectively. This is not the time to allow desert snakes and Sahel hyenas who insists Nigeria is their birthright; by criminal British colonial gifting, to have their way against truth, equity and fairness in our only country.
“All that Hakeem Baba Ahmed and his abominable feudal fellows want is political power in their grip to continuously pollute, plunder and destitute Nigeria.
“I make use of this release to deliver serious warning to Hakeem Baba Ahmed and his cohorts to stop disrespecting and threatening President Bola Tinubu and Nigeria as a country.
“Just take a peep through the windows of Renewal Hope Castle of Bliss for One Nigeria, You can see El-Rufai, Atiku, Amaechi, etc. all drying up of grandeur, and begging the Creator to give them another chance but the crying of farmers, technocrats, widows, students, lecturers unemployed youths, hardworking ladies and gentlemen, for a change from almajiri life to a new sane life where no one is suppressed, oppressed and defamed, electricity running, salaries paid duly and on time, policemen behaving as humans, drunkards now trying Kunu, Ogi, and Akara for a change, politicians talking about building heavy infrastructures, pipe borne water that runs all day, travel from Lagos to Abuja and Kaduna and Back without being stopped by the terrorists, El-Rufai, Gumi, and Atiku have been encouraging in the name of politics of ethnic, tribal and religious brigandage.
“It is therefore unequivocally apparent that the youths and the young at hearts should resist any attempts by this group to mould them into any acts of hostility against the new government by asking Hakeem and Co. to release the Chibok girls, leave the lands of the Benue and Plateau to mention but few if he is really part of the ambassadors of the new Nigeria that is fast growing now.
“President Tinubu is not a saint but he is certainly more serious than the entire ruling elites of the nation about laying critical administrative foundation for realistic, fair and balanced economic growth in Nigeria. He has just two options, namely: Stop insulting and Harassing Mr. President or Face the Karmic Fire of Humiliation and Disgrace.
“He should learn from other fellow Northerners who have seen the goodness in President Tinubu within the first half of the first tenure and who are doing everything possible to tap the dividends of the Renewed Hope Agenda blooming through the country to touch the North.
“Unfortunately, godliness as selflessness bequeaths respect, rule of law, equal rights, freedom of expression in the nucleus culture in the South Nigeria which all the hybrid countries and the jihadist are trying everything satanically possible to eliminate their history and to lead to total extermination.
“I have signed, sealed and delivered the victory of the 2027 Presidential Elections on behalf of the good people of Africa and the world to HRH, President Tinubu.
“President Tinubu is the winner to save the race, whilst Atiku, El-Rufai, Kwakwanso, Aregbesola, Pat Utomi, Pastor Ayodele, Oyakhilome, and the pen robbers, etc. are asked to cooperate with our President in the anti-corruption drive else they would find themselves in jail, one day. My Love and Blessings,” Maharaj Ji stated. https://independent.ng/stop-disrespecting-tinubu-maharaj-ji-warns-ex-nef-spokesperson-hakeem-baba-ahmed/

Exposing Air Peace: 1,000 Lies And Counting
I was present from the beginning to the end of the incident, and I can confirm that Senator Adams Oshiomhole was actually standing up for the rights of the passengers. He was offered VIP treatment in an attempt to placate him, but he firmly rejected it.
Airlines like Air Peace often resort to invoking the “45 minutes before departure” rule to cover up their mismanagement—especially when they overbook flights and bring in smaller aircraft than required. In this case, over 200 tickets were sold, yet the aircraft provided could only accommodate 160 passengers.
Air Peace owes Senator Oshiomhole a public apology. Their press release was not only misleading but also typical of the airline’s pattern of behavior.
I documented everything and will make them public soon. Lucky George, Publisher/Editor-in-Chief: African Travel Times [Doctoral Researcher, Mass Communication]. 2006 Winner, European Commission Lorenzo Natali Prize for Journalists Reporting Human Rights and Democracy. |

Politics › Special Forces Arrive Benue To Tackle Insecurity by TimeManager(op): 9:54am On Jun 16, 2025 |
Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia announced on Sunday that a joint team of tactical and response squads has begun arriving in the state to tackle the ongoing security challenges.
Alia made the disclosure in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Tersoo Kula, and made available to newsmen in Makurdi.
The governor said the special forces and additional security deployments were for vulnerable areas.
He strongly condemned the attacks and massacre of innocent citizens at Yelwata by suspected criminal herders.
“I acknowledge and share in your pains and grief caused by these attacks on the community by criminal elements suspected to be armed herdsmen.
“The state government is consistently engaging with federal security agencies, traditional rulers, community leaders, and relevant stakeholders to strengthen security interventions and provide lasting solutions to these persistent attacks.
“We assure citizens that more tactical teams have started arriving in Benue from the Federal Government, and additional security deployments are being arranged for vulnerable areas.
“Response squad teams are also deployed and will be in Benue from Sunday; strategic community dialogues are ongoing to enhance active intelligence sharing.
“The state’s joint operations units are also being strengthened, and the government will not relent in its utmost commitment to defending the lives and properties of all residents,” he added.
Alia further called on religious, traditional, and political leaders across the state to sensitise and guide the youths under their influence against unlawful gatherings or confrontations that may spiral out of control.
The governor appealed to the public to make use of official communication channels to report any suspicious activities and to stay informed through credible sources.
He said that the state government remained committed to justice, peace, and security for all.
Alia said that his deputy, Mr Sam Ode, had visited the scene of the heinous act to identify with the people.
He assured the people that he would not rest on his oars to ensure peace in the state. https://punchng.com/special-forces-arrive-benue-to-tackle-insecurity/
