I don't think this project is a good development. It is wasteful, not feasible, and besides a project we cannot afford right now. It is only being done to satisfy the selfish interest of some region. Kaduna refinery failed largely because it was starved of supply by those aggrieved in the south about the state of their exploited communities and those problems are still there today.

Why would any sane government even transport oil from the coast to an inland landlocked location for refining and then back to the coast for export without any inland pipeline infrastructure for delivery and transportation to other nations in place?

This national quota system has truly destroyed this country. Simple business decisions that we are supposed to be making, we will just be overcomplicating stuffs.

Can we see the exact map and plans of this pipeline please, because I'm hearing plans for power stations in the North but none for the southwest and east.

There are too many unknowns to just keep on playing politics and shouting Africa first. If they want to do this thing, they should do it right and publish the results of the clinical trials with all the key stats.

Instead of arguing with the OP and calling him names. You all touting the magical cure should ask if Madagascar's government has undergone all the standard clinical trials and certified the drug.

Their cases are too small of a sample size to draw any reasonable conclusion in a widespread pandemic of this nature. We don't even know the age distribution any other factors in their clinical trials.

Because if Nigerians import their medicine and start giving the citizens without proper certification then it would also be the same as testing unproven western vaccines on the populace.
