β€’ Selected applicants to get upkeep stipends

We Nigerians are just typically stupid.
Some are saying lori iro.

Let's come to think of it, is the loan worth it?
You increased tuition fee then roll out loan

Are they not supposed to lower cost of living?

Some students has graduated years now without good job, How do you fresh graduate with no source of income to pay your given loan.

Foolishness has taken over and beclouded their sense of reasoning.

FOR A FAMILY MAN? IN THIS PRESENT ECONOMY? Na how many Nigerians (married with children) wey dey earn above 50k monthly, get 600k in savings? How many casual workers earns 50k monthly salary in a "bread factory, pure water package company, wheelbarrow assembly factory".LET'S BE REALISTIC ABEG.

ARE YOU EVEN A NIGERIAN? DO YOU LIVE AND WORK IN NIGERIA? HAVE YOU STARTED WORKING (Not affiliate marketing, forex/Bitcoin stuff or some online something something) HAVE YOU WORKED IN A FACTORY AS A CASUAL WORKER BEFORE? ARE YOU AN EMPLOYEE OR EMPLOYER?? ARE YOU SINGLE OR MARRIED? DO YOU LIVE ALONE OR LIVE WITH PARENTS?πŸ˜ƒ

If the loan He's seeking is for business purpose, My advice to him . . . "NO MATTER HOW BIG YOUR IDEA OR PLAN IS, BE BOLD TO START SMALL"

However, taking a genuine business loans (not grant) with an agreement to pay back, from family members is not a bad idea. All fingers are not equal. A large count of people won't go to family members for help if they have other better and sure options, to avoid "see finish" - "Na Condition dey make crayfish bend."

"Big men dey take business loans. Big men dey support each other. E no easy abeg.

PLEASE, LET'S BE REALISTIC πŸ™

How can I love this comment a million times.

Please people I want you to know that the Nigeria that you are looking has gone far beyond what you are seeing.

Recently their yansh (hospital) started opening.

Alot of children are being swapped during childbirth, rich people buy children from doctors, someone that come for appendix surgery can later go home without the second kidney.

This things happen mostly at government hospitals.

If you ask me their is proof, it happened to a family member.

FACT.
Even if you increase fuel price to 5,000 per litre, Nigerians will still buy it and say GOD WILL HELLP US and that is where it ends.
Bag of rice went from 7,500 to 60,000. Spag went from 80 naira to 650 and we are still rushing to buy.

Same set of Nigerians will sell their votes for 2k when the next elections come and they turn around to blame politicians.

Please note: Alot of bad things are happening in Nigerian hospital for long now.

Kids are being swapped once you a woman give birth.

It has even gotten to its peak but people do not know.

A brother of mine has a case, he is AC so he married AA just to avoid trouble.

After the wife gave birth the third day problem began.

After a month the child begin to sleep in the hospital, when test was later done, the child is SS.

They went to series of hospital to confirm the rest still the same thing.

This happened in Ogbomosho Hospital.

Be careful out there.

Education / Re: ASUU, ASUP Express Doubts Over Student Loan by Timiblanko(m): 10:48pm On Jun 16, 2023
Sermwell:

But you said it's a nice development na! Why are you now complaining? Una go get sense las las grin

[b]Bruh na you suppose get sence o.

I noticed some people are happy about the Student Loan

Some even said "Tinubu can continue, he is taking hard decisions".

For that reason, I have decided to break down the smokescreen called Student Loan

It's just an attempt to remove "Education Subsidy" without causing an uproar.

Now let's dive in:

Who qualifies for the Student Loan:

The simple answer is: NOBODY.

It's almost impossible for you to qualify for the Student Loan and here is why

1. An applicants or his parents must provide tax clearance: This is not totally bad till you see number 2.

2. The Applicants or his parents must be earning total income less than #500k a year. Now slow down and so the maths

To earn #500k a year means that the husband and wife are earning less than #41,000 a month. That is #20,000 each

While minimum wage is #30,000

Which means if your both parents are earning, you are automatically disqualified because they are either earning more than #41,000 or they do not pay tax because you cannot pay tax on salary below minimum wage

3. Now here is the high jump of the Act: These 2 people earning less than #50,000 will now have to provide a DIRECTOR IN CIVIL SERVICE and a LAWYER OF 10YEARS IN SERVICE as Guarantor

Take into consideration, yourself doing good for your self, do you know DIRECTOR in Civil Service?

But that is not the worst part

4. The Director and Lawyer has to surety that if you default, they will pay the loan

Do you know what means, NO DIRECTOR WILL TAKE SUCH SURETY.

But here is the worst part

5. After you meet all these requirements, will you get the loan? NO!

The act said "Loan will be given when funds are available. In other terms, you are still at the mercy of the system"

In summary:

If you add your father and mother's income monthly, it must not be more than #41,000 a month or #500,000 a year

Your father and mother must look for a Director in Civil Service to Surety your loan

The Director will send his Payslip document to the Bank saying that if you fail to pay, he will pay. Who will do this one for you?

Did I tell you that the Bank MD will be the one to give approval? Bank MD !

Did I also tell you that if you don't start repaying after 2years of graduation, you will go to jail 😩

Many graduate have not even gone to NYSC in 2years after graduation

The worst part now is: School Fees will go up above the loan amount because Federal Government has announced that they cannot continue to fund University

So if you are reading this, you are not qualified for the Loan

It is a nice development. Kudos to Mr President.

But do we know that school fee payment will not be less that 100k and it would be paid per semester.

Good will help us
