Men have gotten away with worse and their wives are still praying for change. Like I said, he isnt in the mood for the drama or he still wants to keep her as wife hence he just let it slide. A confirmed player would turn the case on its head.

He went against his marriage vows - if legally married - he got caught and did what's best to avoid drama.

Don't get me wrong, I do not think this woman's attitude should be the tape measure for other wives just as men dont go about congratulating other men for keeping quiet when they catch their wives red handed with a sugar boy or daddy and then buy food and go home to wait for her so they can discuss the issue in the privacy of their home. So I dont buy the idea that she is a better woman because she did not confront him for his cheating (NOTE I did not say fight with him)

No, it's not normal for the lights to be perpetually on.
Get a competent and trustworthy mechanic to inspect the car for you, there may be several other issues which you can't notice.

Hello All,

I intend buying a new car soonest (mt first ever)a, and i intend to solicit for advice from the senior men in the House. I'm at a dilemma between the above named brands - Peugeot 406 or Honda EoD. I got a 406 from a former assembly member in abuja, still in nice shape, very clean, engine OK and its Manual. Then there's an EoD from a friend (who is into car sales - we graduated from Uni together). the EoD is also clean, engine is nice and its Automatic.

Gentlemen, based on previous experience, how do you advice? which has more prospect in terms of - maintenance, fuel usage, prone to issues, 2nd hand items readily available, etc.

Hehehe... By the time you check now and it has been changed to another car and in another 3 months yet another car, and within a year maybe 5 cars would have the same c-number. I just tire for this country...

Oga mi that is a nice question o. But one thing is sure- some were actually accidented vehicle, but some were not accidented vehicles. They look pretty clean most likely recovered vehicles or maybe people that flout rules? I will find out Sha, whenever I go there again.
But from a technical perspective, Timi.fakay, what are the likely fixes for such vehicles. I know battery, tires, maybe upholstery might have gone south. Electrical systems also(rats) but will it require changing transmission/engine?

I was visiting a friend who happens to be a police officer. While in her office, I noticed some cars packed outside and that prompted my curiosity. She ended up telling me those cars will be aunctioned.

Pls share your experience if you have ever encountered such transactions.
Now to the technical aspect... Gurus in the house, do you think such cars that have been packed outside under the weather for months will still be worthwhile? What are the likely fixes to be made? Will such car amount to any good.

It depends on the location
Mega city (Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja) multi storey.
City- state capitals- (Ibadan, Abeokuta, Osogbo, Akure and the likes) single or 2 storey will sell, single preferably.
Town (Ogbomoso, Ilesa, Ago Iwoye and the likes) bungalows are advisable.

In a place like Lagos or Port Harcourt, the worst place to live is the ground floor. The compounds are hardly ever large enough to allow for adequate space between fence and building, and when there's enough space it serves as parking lot for residents- therefore high chance of windows being blocked by cars (especially SUVs), high likelihood surrounding houses are storey buildings, noise of all power generators in the compound and neighboring compounds are most audible on ground floor, ground floor apartments are most accessible to neighbourhood thieves or burglars and rodents... So alot of people in Lagos avoid ground floor due to heat, noise, high burglary rate. So the first and second floors are preferable, first floors even cost 50k to 100k more than ground floor in some cases.
City: there's still enough land for the city to expand so compounds are usually large, people are still very particular about ease of accessing their flat and frequent going out and coming in, playground for kids... than things people in mega cities consider. Living on ground floor doesn't pose extra discomfort. I've never heard of price difference in floors in Ìbàdàn.

Towns, people hardly build for the purpose of letting out here as demand is low, except in places there's a government owned tertiary institution, people build hostels around as pthe school never has enough hostel facilities, in this case storey building of self contained apartments (a room with its own kitchen, toilet and bathroom) is the most desirable.

I bought a C class because a mid size luxury sedan is what I needed at that time. When I needed a full-size luxobarge then I got the 740iL. I am not an exception.

Picture was my daily driver for the period that was all that I needed. In the garage was a C class, a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX SE, a BMW 528i. I certainly didn't buy the C class because I couldn't afford an S class.

You risk having leakage points if booth is drilled for spoiler to be installed.

I have to define luxury in the correct context of automobile.

I own what may be called luxury wristwatches, I collect Invicta watches. They look good, show opulence and keeps darn accurate time. A definition of luxury in terms of wristwatch or fine leather shoes cannot be lumped together with automobiles.

Mercedes Benz is an automaker that makes luxurious automobiles. Every single offering is a luxury model in its class.

I interpret the bolded to mean when compared to its contemporary made by other manufacturers.
My opinion is that the S class and G class are the actual luxury ride in comparison to all sedans and SUVs, but the C class isn't a luxury car when compared to all sedans.
The C class when compared with the Camry, Accord, Optima, Sonata beats them hands down.
But there's no Rolls-Royce or Bentley Mercedes-Benz C class can be compared to

In my previous example, my Evo is a bonafide performance car at 300hp stock from the factory. That it pales in comparison to a Gallardo doesn’t make it not a high performance car.

Most people shouting Benz or nothing have only experienced the C class... Which isn't a luxury line.
Just because a Merc is the best car you ever drove, doesn't mean it's the best that was ever made.
When you experience G class and or S class, you'll ditch the C class.

Benz A, B and C class are not, I repeat are not Luxury cars. The S and G class are the luxury Mercedes-Benz cars.

On the average, a Mercedes-Benz base model performs better than its Japanese counterpart of the same year, but that doesn't mean it performs better than every Japanese counterpart ever made or make a c-class a premium or luxury vehicle as being described by some people here.
Because if a c-class is luxury, what will the E, S and G class be classified as? How much more vehicles like Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Maybach... Koenigsegg, Ferrari, Lamborghini...

if you have ever driven a 2005 Corolla Sport you'd know that it's a pretty fast car. At least in a convoy the V6 car in front of me doesn't go to far before I catch up. Anyway I'm glad I could make you laugh.

I'm pretty sure the tail lights on the car were on or it was running on just a bank of the engine.
