Stephen is more than a customer to me. He is a very good friend. I really enjoy him as a customer cos he knows and like cars a lot. We can talk for days just on cars. Without not even buying anything.

Hello Bro, I know you must have really tried your best to help out. The truth is that your bro doesn't know anything about Honda so its just unfortunate that he got involved. The drive to also make some quick cash is the strongest factor for him to have ventured into a terrain he is unfamiliar with.
My concerns are as follows
* 40 % of the components that make up this gear that was fixed was gotten from my own old gear. I queried it since I believe the fault could be from any of the components. I expected that the bought gear should come with its own components and not completing it with components from a faulty gear.
* The gear leaks oil. I pointed this out to your bro, but he was just too confused on how to deal with it or how to face the people he got it from and he just wanted me to take the car away by all means so he could enjoy unmerited profit in peace. As soon as he learnt I had traveled, he called to say the leak had been fixed. From the time it was installed to today (Sunday), the gear box has gulped 9 liters of gear oil. sadly, when I gauged the gear oil level this morning, its was below the minimum recommended level. This quantity is apart from the oil that was filled in the first installed gear box that had to be drained off when the gear box didn't work. Note that the workmanship by the mechanic and electrician is over 30k for the trial and errors (borne by me of course).
* As I previously mentioned, the gear position indicator issue is still there. The gear gets stuck if I fail or forget to systematically maneuver the stick to the park position. Now I have been taught how to use screw driver to pull it out of that position. What a trick to learn.
* The drive gear does not work at all. for the car to move, the gear has to be on D3. You all know what that means. It means the car cannot go beyond the 3rd gear no matter how much you rev the car.
* The mechanic your brother engaged to the work is actually an inexperienced "professional". I was there when he commenced and completed the first procedure and from conversing wih him, I can confidently deduce that he was also at a loss of the events and was always quick to push the blame to the supplied gear box. At no point in time did he have a technical or logical explanation as to what could be wrong.
I can go and on but no be everything person go dey yarn jare. Deed has been done. i just had to get the car away from there as there is no ray of solution coming from those guys.
@Mazdaenginepart, I am not trying to discredit you o, as I want to believe you referring me to your brother was with good intention but I am only disappointed that you didn't know his his capability before vesting such confidence in him before referring him.

eghuan1: as you did write earlier, DL number cannot be changed, but if you post it here, and somebody copies it and uses it to create another DL which he then use for a criminal act, who have you helped? if you go to city hall in lagos island, there are guys who can get you a fake DL in two hours. all they need is DL number, your passport and signature.
But what do i know, you are following your instinct. help those guys with extra DL numbers to do what they do best.
Also consider if those guys are arrested and police find out you 'gave' them the DL numbers to use. this is Nigeria and you know how Nigeria Police reason.
I still don't get your point sir. Anyone who tries cloning a DL will the need the date of birth, issuance date, Issue number, class and expiration date on the original license. These are not revealed here.

ndego1993: Please I need help. I drive Toyota Camry 1999 model. Sometime last week, the car engine just went off while it was in motion. I tried to apply brake only to notice that it was stiff. All the indicator lights were showing on the dash board at the same time. I managed to clear and pushed the gear to park. I started the car after turning off the ignition and it came on as if nothing happened.
The same thing happened yesterday and its giving me a cause to worry as it happened on the high way yesterday and I was only lucky it didn't cause an accident. Please I need help/advice on the cause and what I can do to forestall any further occurrence.

Next time car goes off in motion do not panic, put gear in neutral, start car, return to drive. Car doesn't have to stop. Get your fuel pump checked, could be a clogged filter or its due for replacement.

The most likely reason is that the Rapid Eye Movement (REM) phase of your sleep cycle is disturbed. REM is a deep phase of sleep in which your brain renders your muscles paralyzed. This is so because it is the phase in which you dream. If your muscles were not paralyzed you could act out the dream experience. Like getting up from bed and running and banging into the wall or run into a road with busy traffic!
If that REM phase is interrupted abruptly and your brain has not freed the muscles from paralysis, you get that experience of being "pressed".
My deduction from simple anatomy/physiology is that most likely your breathing muscles also undergo a slight paralysis but good enough to enable you breath while asleep. But a rapid need to breath faster in that state of fear causes that feeling of dread when you cannot breath as fast as you would like. I stand to be corrected.

Got to local govt office, ask for licensing office, go inside and speak with a staff, lots of touts hang around those offices nationwide, so ensure you go into the office and deal directly with a staff, you might have to pay for previous years of vehicle licence and only current year of road worthiness and insurance. Same person should be able to help with drivers licence and you will need driving school certificate before getting drivers license. Or go find a driving school.

Your car has started consuming oil. Maybe you return to the old oil brand if the oil shortage just started when you changed oil brand. How many miles interval do you service the vehicle?

When both tyres climb bump at a time, chances of underparts (mud flaps, exhaust..) of the car touching the bump increases. But slant means wheel a climbs bump at a time and reduces chances of scraping the bump...

Moreover it's just an accessory which in no way affects car performance nor increase the risk of theft. Anyone who can afford this car won't even think about mpg.
My rav 4 2002 dashboard light and radio stopped working all together, but the car was still running. After a while the car wasn't raising again and went off. i had to tow the car to a safe place. what could be wrong sir. I am based in Ibadan, do you know anyone that can fix it.
