Record odometer reading each time you service and schedule next service to 3,000km or 6 months - whichever comes first - if using mineral oil (them 20w50)

It all started with over heating and the gasket got burnt after which was fixed by the mechanic, Only for me to go on another journey of 2hrs and noticed the temperature was rising again, i managed to get home.... Few hours later, only for me to start the car and it never start again till date(over 2wks now) i called a mechanic to check it, he suspected that the timing was jumping which he corrected, only for him to see that it wasnt supply current to the plug and he said its a rewire's job.... Now the reiwre has checked all the fuse and all are okay...in the process of trouleshooting he had to check the brain box and realised the wires have melted together..he seperated the wires and ask me to start the car, yet he didnt come up which made him condemed the brain box, I bought another brain box and that one just got burnt too....PLEASE GURU'S IN THE HOUSE...KINDLY ASSIST ON WHAT TO DO PLEASE

Why?

Sounds like a transmission issue. Gear 1 doesn't easily engage or doesn't engage at all when transmission fluid is cold.
When was the last time you changed transmission oil?
Scan vehicle to see what codes will come up.

There's a faulty in your ABS, so you need a device that can communicate with the module to pin point the fault for you, and it should be operated by someone who can rightly interpreted whatever information is extracted.
Therefore go for a scan and diagnosis.

No, it's not difficult to maintain. Parts are in high demand, so prices are a little above average expectation but the parts are reliable. Overall Corolla is a good car.

That's a freaking lie. It Does not make Sense to charge 10k to change engine oil. Something you can do yourself. Just remove the drain plug and drain then empty your oil into the engine. Is that worth 10k?

With that 10k buy set of spanners, oil filter wrench and overall and you are in business, make the woman who bought Gazzuzz tokunbo scanner your front desk/ admin officer and you already have an edge over him.

Partner with that guy, you will be in charge of admin duties and equipments and parts purchase - you seem conversant with that - while he does the work. Your duo will do wonders to/with cars.

Confirm which seal it is, there's an oil seal between engine and transmission, if it's leaking, then the only remedy is taking out one of engine and transmission...

Start afresh by taking the car to a person who will scan the vehicle and give you codes, then adequately interpret the codes for you, not just to state he can 'fix it'.
With the codes, you can cone online and seek additional info/ recommendations.
