And from DV Website amongs the requirements no such thing. Why the sudden concentration on it?

My first intview was in (july 10th 2013) I got 2 the embassy around 6.20am and we do all the security check and we march in 2 the main intview hall, I sat down @ the font of window 14, I was lookin hw he was intviewn pple and I was also preyin dat he shld be the one 2 intview me and i thanx God my number was flash frm window 14..

Medicals: 3 days for result to be out.
Police: same day
Interview: 1 day
visa pick up: maybe a week after interview.
So you can actually do your medicals and Police same day. You will get your police that very day. You first go for medicals that morning when you are through, go for police, they are around. It takes 3 days for the medicals to come out. So with this I believe you can plan your leave. A 10 working-day leave should suffice from medicals, police, interview and probably visa pick up if things being equal.

kennex89: Hello house, I have been following this forum and i will like to thank everyone for there unflinching support to this forum it is really helping us that are new to the dv lottery stuff. well, My wife played the dv lottery some years before we got married that was in 2012 and we decided to get married through marriage registry on the 6th of april at the registry and to our utmost surprise when the result was released on the 1st of may, she won the dv lottery and we were advised by my cousin that she could fill my details as husband and send to kcc which we did and we have been following it, our case number fall around AF.........833.... and we were informed by a reliable source that our interview will be coming up in Nov but when i checked the monthly bulletin for the month, they stopped at 7500 just so down. Please i will need help on the house to know what are we expected to do now that we got married before the dv result was released what are our chances and also when do you think we can be invited for the interview and what documents are we expected to arrange for chances.

Please i will need your reply as it will help us to make preparations.

Is it not the month when one is current that one has the interview? I think you are mixing it up here timimoyegun. Please house correct me if I'm wrong. The date of your interview could be shifted by the Embassy and they will contact you of the changes. I know of some forumites in DV2013, whose interview were shifted due to one reason or the other.

1. Each applicant will need to obtain an original birth certificate issued by the official custodian of birth records in the country of birth, showing the date and place of birth and the parentage of the applicant, based upon the original registration of birth. Submit to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate at your interview. Important Notice: All Immigrant Visa applicants must submit a long form original birth certificate. Short form birth certificates will not be accepted.

The certificate must contain the:





Person's date of birth;
Person's place of birth;
Names of both parents; and,
Annotation by the appropriate authority indicating that it is an extract from the official records.

2. if you can get your transcript, its good but if difficult to get, gather some proof of studentship given by your institution and evidence of NYSC, with these I feel u r good to go.
