lalasticlala:This so-called news from the people that specialize in lies, propaganda and fake news (reminiscent of the Biafra fake news/propaganda machinery) doesn’t deserve to be given any space within a newspaper. No citation fit the source of the so-called 350 people nor times/places and location. Nigerian journalist are the worst set of professionals, you can buy them for a cup of tea. This same organization didn’t report on the number of police and military killed by the IGBOS in the southeast nor mention the numbers of barracks burned down with ammunition stolen? These are the reasons why other groups do not and cannot take the IGBOS seriously because there own lies pass ‘Lie Mohammed’ own |
Icumsa45:“An Onitsha-based human rights group, the International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law, Intersociety, Saturday, alleged that no fewer than 350 Igbo Christians were extra-judicially killed by Fulani-dominated security personnel between January and 10th June 2021 in South East and South-South regions of Nigeria” And that’s the news you based your comment on. It was written by an Igbo group without any citation to the source of the number but rather defaulting back to lies, propaganda and fake news which are the stock of the IGBOS reminiscent of the Biafra war. Now you see why I said you lack basic comprehension and understanding skills. |
nedekid:For your information I’ve been living in Nigeria since 2017 permanently. I only go abroad to visit my children and grandchildren. We are Nigeria together and we have to make it better. Before 2017, I visited Nigeria once a year for 34-years. |
EMMY76:Another propaganda machinery reminiscent of the civil war era - lies, deceit and mischief are the traits of the IGBOS. |
thatsleepboy1:You can sit on your hands and watch all you want and for as long as you want, PMB will serve the remaining of his terms whether you like it or not. I rather advise that you work to make it and take full advantage of the situation (bad, worse or worst, whichever way you see it) t better yourself and your family. |
Angelfrost:What you need to understand is that your perspective determines your enthusiasm and how you work at improving the situation. These countries that you mentioned, are people not thriving there. You ought to ask yourself, why foreigners - Americans (like myself) and Chinese are thriving in Nigeria. It’s because they see opportunities and take advantage of them. While you see failure, they see and perceive success and work at making the best of the “worst” (since that is what you see) situation. While you fold your hands and surrender to the worst situations that you see, we come over thousands of mile to take hold of the situation and turned it around for our good. The British envoy said Nigeria is their own worst enemy and that if Britain experienced 10% of the chaos caused by Nigerians for themselves, Britain would not have developed. THINK AND PONDER ABOUT THAT FOR A CHANGE. I WISH YOU WELL. |
BennyDGreat:Sir, they are not trained to be tolerant. Their orientation is to bring situations under control using whatever means. You need to see how they responds to situations like this in the United States and you will understand better. |
Icumsa45:Did you say innocent Biafrans? Definitely, you are not n this planet. The numerous killings of the police and military makes them innocent or you are not aware of that, even as you claimed ignorant of the many news on the killing of bandits and Boko Haram? The burning of police barracks and stealing ammunitions all in the Biafra region makes them innocent? Like I said, simple research skills you lack. No need to respond to your ignorance anymore or else I will find myself in the mud - God forbid. |

Julianaa:You are free to express your fundamental rights but that freedom stopped when you infringe on the fundamental rights of others to free movements. When you blocked roads and streets, then you are infringing on the rights of others and no ones rights is superior or inferior to theirs. In the US, there is freedom of right to protest but you cannot block roads/streets/neighborhoods without incurring the wrath of the police/Sheriff |
Nemere2020:Same pictures were used for both Lagos and Abuja protests. Please which is which and are these pictures even fro today’s protest? |
Achico:Talk about yourself. The country is truly finished for you and you won’t be blessed by the country. This country Nigeria is blessed and the country will be a blessing to me in Jesus name. And so shall it be. |
thatsleepboy1:Everyone needs to be dealt with in the language they understand. If violent is what they understand then violence shall befall them. No more tolerant action from the military and paramilitary authorities. This unnecessary protest needs to either stop or be stopped by all means. Have you seen any children of the elite and rich lead or be part of any protests, have they ever been cut in the crossfire? But rather they will be fueling the protest from the comfort of their houses with their family hidden from danger while the children of the poor/middle class suffers the consequences. Better be wise and don’t let anyone used you for their selfish purposes anymore. |
ogododo:And you called this a protest, a group of 20 people with placards now become a worthy protest requiring mentioning not to talk of been in the news. Daily post is not a newspaper but one man show writing from his living room. |
Icumsa45:It seems you are intentionally been selective in reading, understanding and comprehending the news that are available in the public forum: Have you not read nor hear about bandits been killed and arrested? Have you not read nor heard about Boko Haram been killed many times during the military operation? And easterners that are killing military and police, burning down police stations and barracks are the saints in your eyes and should not dealt it. PMB should have applied same tactics that Obasanjo used during his time - have you not heard how Obasanjo dealt with the town when an entire place was leveled down, when military on a peace mission was massacred. |
Alex80s:“I decree this morning through the power of the Holy Angels of God : Michael, Urie Holy Raphael , Michael, Joseph, Cherubim and Seraphim !!!!!!!!!!!!!! to bring agony, regret ,despair upon anyone and his or her entire generation supporting evil, encouraging killing in anyway in Nigeria in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit :Amen.” I SAY AMEN TO THIS PRAYER FOR IT INCLUDES EVERYONE IRRESPECTIVE OF POLITICAL, TRIBAL OR RELOGIOUS AFFILIATION. MAY THEY BE VISITED WITH THE WRATH OF ALMIGHTY GOD IN JESUS NAME. |
frog12:Again, one of them that can’t read. Go and read it again and then come back to answer your question and if u can’t read then get your leader hiding somewhere to interpret for you. |
floss:AS USUAL DEM EMPTY BARRELS MAKING THE LOUDEST NOISE. ALL TALK NO ACTION. PLEASE ALL IGBOS PACK AND LEAVE NIGERIA AND IF YOU REFUSE TO LEAVE THEN U NEED TO GO AND HUG A TRANSFORMER QUICKLY AND EXIT YOURSELF. |
Vulcanheph:Comprehension is lacking in some of these people. The prayer was for all sponsors (irrespective of who, political, religious and ethnic orientation) of evil should die a painful death and instead of saying AMEN, you are spewing gibberish. Please go back to school and then come back when you can read, comprehend and write. |
nedekid:Mr. man, you can ask Omokri to provide you the amount of times, GEJ and wife have been abroad for medical treatment since you choose to bury your head in the sand during GEJ and now removed it during PMB. For your information, I schooled and work abroad and hence do my yearly medical abroad. My children schooled and are working abroad. There many civil servants at Director level and up position that are budgeted to go abroad for medicals and so are justices of the court system in Nigeria. But you don't want to acknowledge or research that but instead copy, paste and follow follow what others are saying. YOU BETTER EXERCISE YOUR BRAIN BEFORE YOU LOOSE IT. |
I hope the Federal government delegation realize that they cant trust any of these people from the Southeast. They are all reporting to the coward in Europe that is directing the Igbos on what to do. Don't reveal details of any operations to them, they are all moles. A word is enough for the fool. |
post=102590672:Thank you for this compilation of facts and removing sentiments. May you live long. Nigerians includ8ng the educated ones embraces everything said by the US government as the truth. They have rules and laws against spreading of false news and making inciting statements and actually have a term - terroristic attacks based on words spoken or written. A lot of inciting words have been posted on Twitter against the sovereignty of Nigeria and the Nigerian “herds” did not raise an eyebrow. But when the President responded in the same languages that they will understand, then Twitter banned the President’s twit. Isn’t that selective and by the way Nigeria is not the only democratic country that have banned Twitter. PLEASE EXERCISE YOUR MIND BEFORE LOOSING IT. |
EMMY76:My friend, respect begets respect. Do the Igbo or Ibo respect the President? Check that before commenting. They are killing police and military as if they are chicken and you expect the President to fold his arms. Go and research and read what Obasanjo did when military staff were killed during his Presidency before opening your mouth to cry. |
Why are these old people that constitute themselves into this afenifere crying more than the bereaved. They have no political or economical relevance even in the southwest. Empty barrels making noise for relevance |
Agreed totally and completely. If the US, as big in size and population and with many regions only have nine(9) Supreme Court justices, Nigeria doesn’t even need the 16 proposed by the CJN. We copied and bloated it up consuming a lot of money to meet the bureaucratic needs. |
This Ezeife man must be on weed. He needs to check the history of his people before making such statement unless he is smoking something that becloud his memory and speech |
IPOB members approach Cardinal Arinze in Rome and ask him to talk to the Pope to endorse actualization of Biafra. He gave them an answer they probably didn't expect! (video) IPOB members approach Cardinal Arinze in Rome and ask him to talk to the Pope to endorse actualization of Biafra. He gave them an answer they probably didn IPOB members in Rome approached Cardinal Francis Arinze, who is from Anambra state in Nigeria, and tried to convince him to get the Catholic Pope to speak in favour of Igbos getting Biafra. In a video shared online, the IPOB members are seen standing with the Nigerian Cardinal in a building in Rome while making their request. However, Cardinal Arinze, 88, was not on the same page with them as regards secession and he made this known. "It is those who did not see the civil war who are talking 'Biafra, Biafra'. They have no idea," Cardinal Arinze told the IPOB members. The Cardinal added that citizens being separated is "not the mandate Christ gave to the Bishops." He encouraged the IPOB members to join politics instead and bring about the change they want to see in Nigeria. He said: "It is for people like you. You get into politics and work hard with others." Cardinal Arinze was one of the principal advisors to Pope John Paul II. He was also considered a possible candidate to be elected Catholic Pope before the 2005 papal conclave, which elected Pope Benedict XVI |
Islie:I agreed completely and totally to the scrapping of either the Senate or the House of Representatives and make representations to be part time. The US that we copied didn’t spend 20% on the Congress of what we are spending on these dishonorable honorable. They are a pest on the people they are supposed to represent and a houseful of corruption. |
There was a time when a fool and his money were soon parted, but now it happens to everybody – Adlai Stevenson |
Curious345:Speak for yourself that you will die!!!!! Always be positive |
These so-called rally are no more than 20-50 people and the press hype it up. Those that gathered don't even know the reason for the gathering but rather stop to just see what is going on. Nigeria will not break up in Jesus name. Nigeria is God's own country. |
