I think recieved means ices has recieved your application and is working on it. Submitted is when you apply and pay. You can confirm from ices though in a mail

abyejecks:
Update! I just checked unilag website, it's still showing application received. I sent records @ unilag an email asking them if they've sent my docs to Ices. Will update the house with their response.

Congratulations

Bukzie:
Hello NL Family.

I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.

It's PPR people!!!

I don't know how to express my joy, relief and excitement. I will post our PPR story soon. It's been a long journey but I am thankful it has ended in praise. AVO has finally released us. To God be all the glory, honour and praise.

Meanwhile, I need some clarifications as regards what to do with the ADR we received 2 days ago. We would have submitted it this afternoon but could not because of the size of one of the files which we planned to reduce tonight.

We were asked to submit the following documents (ADR):
-Schedule A Form
-Additional Family Info Form
-Updated POF

In the PPR letter we were only instructed to submit the two forms. What do we do? Should we submit all three via Accra Webform and then go ahead to submit our passports with the hard copies of the forms mentioned in the PPR? When should we go ahead to submit our passports?

A big THANK YOU to all of you whose posts and responses to my posts (just 2 but the responses were very helpful) encouraged me. I'm grateful for the day (December 6, 2018) I joined this group of great minds. God bless you all.

PS
Age is just a number in this race if you are committed to the journey and depend also on God to see you through. I'll expatiate in our PPR story shortly.

Is this truehuh??

mbhs139:
They will count if they're the same job roles and functions, say for instance, not being a plumber on one job and a tailor at another. If you claim to be a tailor in the first job, stick to being a tailor or fashion designer in the other jobs. They're still related.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by TimmytimeHO: 9:08pm On Jan 31, 2019

Ifeoma77:
Yes you can
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by TimmytimeHO: 8:19pm On Jan 30, 2019
I sent documents from 2 institutions. One got there on December 28 2018 another on January 15 2019. Status changed January 16th 2019 to recieved.

adeptonlin:
For those that evaluated their credentials with ICES, how long does it take for one's profile to change from 'Application Submitted' to 'Document Received' ?
DHL delivered my transcript on Monday, 28th to ICES office.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by TimmytimeHO: 5:52pm On Jan 30, 2019
Dear family of Canadians, sorry to derail the thread. Please can I request an adjustment in dates for my IELTS speaking test?

Ifeoma77:
My name is Ifeoma J Trudeau and I found that link very helpful too

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by TimmytimeHO: 7:28am On Jan 26, 2019
This is quite serious. So we have to mail and mail. My second transcript got to them on Jan 15 and my status changed to recieved on 16th. I have been waiting to know when I will get an update. I guess I have to mail them next week.

shege45:
yes
They sent an email to my school,so i had to pay extra
money for my school to reply. I think they finished my case two days after they got the reply from my school. One thing I realized when i used ices was that they don’t notify you about anything. If you don’t email them to know how far, they won’t send you. Unless they might have changed now
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by TimmytimeHO: 7:14am On Jan 26, 2019
This is most likely

Topsmamen:
Yeah. I heard about this. So sad. There are speculations that the applicant used an agent who messed it all up. Hearsay tho.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by TimmytimeHO: 11:58am On Jan 20, 2019
Now I know.

jjohndoe83:
Ah. Thank you very much. Her posts answered my question perfectly.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by TimmytimeHO: 7:13am On Jan 20, 2019
I think so. The question will be how did your school get your file. You are supposed to apply and leave your application that way. Not to be personally involved in the transcript process.

The seniors will answer better

jjohndoe83:
Good morning sirs and madams
I am doing evaluation with IQAS. Please, is it advisable to send my physical application package to my school so that it can be sent along with my transcript, thereby saving costs. Will it raise any red flags. Anyone done this before? Thanks in advance.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by TimmytimeHO: 7:00am On Jan 20, 2019
I filled the forms online. Uploaded scanned copies of my documents to their site. Paid. Sent transcripts by courier from 2 institutions as I need to claim 2 or more certificates. They have recieved both now so my status has changed to recieved. Waiting for them to finish with the work.

adeptonlin:
For those that use ICES, did you submit the completed downloadable form from their website or the completed online form sufficient?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by TimmytimeHO: 8:15pm On Jan 18, 2019
Awww e-hugs dearie.

Golden Rule:

Do as you would be done by.
Treat as you would want to be treated.
Speak as you would want to be spoken to.

Nothing wrong in prayer (my view)....it's actually a call for help and especially when one has done all one knows to do...it's (to me) a sign of humility....you need to be down (and have worked hard) to understand...

I didn't pass my TEF...so humble ramblings......

i Hope ifeoma knows my business is her business to mind any which way she deems fit. She is helpful.realy.

Dont mind them my lady.

Please all of you keeping tge thread dont mind them thread killers

Tojued:
Pleese what was haughty about that response? How many people have you yourself helped with on this thread - whether haughtily or politely given?

Why ask for help if you cannot receive it in any shade? If you were now given a rude answer or heavily shaded through a meme I wonder how you for react. It is well o!

You shouldn't have splashed your question on a public forum if you wanted people minding their businesses.

Someone stepped in to ensure you did not pick up wrong info and all you could do was create a platform to express whatever beef you have boiled up for the person.

If Ifeoma decides she won't be forthcoming on this platform anymore now it's not as if you will come and fill the cretead gap.

All the best in your EE application and may your dreams come true.

PS: you don't need to answer me, all my questions were rhetorical. Just to engender reflection in 'silent readers' who come out of nowhere to spurn efforts of those who are keeping the thread rich.
If you do choose to answer me, I sincerely promise to do my best not to respond.

PS2: Ifeoma77 I don't know about the silent readers or beefers association, but I for one am amazed at how much you give back to this thread. Especially since I can never ever be similarly generous. Abeg, anyday I ask question I take God beg you help me mind my business. Daalu.

Treasury bills always pay interest upfront. You can even spend it if you like. It Is different from fixed deposit.

DadR:
While this is good, one should be careful too so that the VO won't think one is trying to play smart. Cos in the real sense, you've not really gotten value of the assumed 200k interest paid until the maturity date of the Tbills investment. This means that, if the Tbills investment is rediscounted (pre-terminated), the unearned interest would be deducted from the face value and the balance paid to you.

Just thought to share my view.

It can start with the very first. Tbills interest is usually paid upfront. Instead of the interest hitting your account. You can ask them to invest all together like Tojued suggested. For me it helps avoid temptation to touch the funds

Godisincontrol:
Ok. I guess it started with the subsequent transactions and not the first one
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by TimmytimeHO: 11:49pm On Dec 29, 2018
Its very possible. You invest the principal plus capital. The invest the interest to the last thousand for you.

Tojued:
That's how they do mine sha. I'm just too ignorant to explain it properly.
