Am I the only one that noticed the copy and paste strategy of our army response to news about them... *The Nigerian Army wishes to unequivocally state that this story is baseless...... *Contrary to the insinuations peddled by the online medium, Nigerian Army troops deployed in the North West are committed.... *The general public are therefore urged to disregard the fake news as it is concocted to denigrate Nigerian Army troops..... |

This is a new airline by a very young entrepreneur, it will be a boost for the state and the airline itself... it's a good move for them, atleast airpeace and ibom air will face little competition. But this aircraft looks old, I'm sure the young man needs more fund in getting more planes. |

Lacklustre Juventus began life without Cristiano Ronaldo by suffering a shock 1-0 defeat at home to promoted Empoli in Serie A on Saturday. Juve, who this week agreed a deal with Manchester United to sell Ronaldo to the Premier League club, looked shorn of ideas up front in the Portuguese forward’s absence. Other than some fierce Federico Chiesa strikes from range, the hosts did not threaten to score in the first half as Empoli edged into a surprise lead when captain Leonardo Mancuso swept the ball home at the far post in the 21st minute. After the break, Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri introduced Alvaro Morata, Dejan Kulusevski and new signing Manuel Locatelli from the bench but, even with all that firepower on the pitch, they created few openings of note. Empoli saw out their first win back in the Italian top flight in relative comfort, leaving Juve on one point from their opening two matches of the season. |
Cristiano Ronaldo said his goodbyes to his team-mates at Juventus' Continassa training ground on Friday and later boarded a private jet to Lisbon; Juve boss Max Allegri says Ronaldo told him he has "no intention" to stay at club; Man Utd now in talks to sign Ronaldo as Man City pull out. The Portuguese international was initally offered to the Premier League champions after they missed out on a move for Tottenham's Harry Kane City sources say Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes offered the former Manchester United forward to them after they missed out top target Harry Kane when he decided to stay at Tottenham. However, City’s have decided against pursuing a move after for the 36-year-old, with United now considered as a possible destination. 'Martial's gone backwards' - Misfiring Man Utd forward not the solution to Solskjaer's striking problem. What's been said? In a press conference on Friday, Guardiola suggested City's squad will remain the same despite failing to replace Sergio Aguero who left for Barcelona at the end of last season. "The position right now this is my feeling that I am more delighted with the squad I have and we will say the same," he said. "I am incredibly happy with the squad I have more than satisfied. We are the same squad except one player leaves Sergio and we have Jack [Grealish]." United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, however, refused to rule out a deal. “I don’t want to speculate too much. Cristiano is a legend of this club, he is the greatest player of all time," he said. "He’s such a tremendous human being so let's see what happens with him; everyone who’s played with him will have a soft spot for him.” The bigger picture: Juventus boss Max Allegri confirmed at his news conference that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has no "intention of staying" with the Italian club. He was seen leaving Juventus' training ground on Friday morning while the rest of the team began their session, before Allegri confirmed he wants to leave. Goal confirmed on Thursday that City held some talks over the possibility of a deal but there was no agreement over terms with the player or club. The former United player was believed to be open to a move to Etihad Stadium despite saying in the past that he would never line up for one of the Red Devils' main rivals. Juventus are looking for around €29 million (£24m/$34m) from any potential buyers, otherwise they would suffer a capital loss.
