ASUU did report that sharing formula for payment of #22 billion Earned Allowances arrears to be released on/before 30 October 2021 will be 75% to 25%,

If you remember the Federal Government has earlier promised JAC of SSANU and NASU through MoA in February, 2021 that #20 billion (as remaining balance for Non-Teaching Staff with respect to earlier #40 billion 75%:25% shared which resulted to #30billion for ASUU and #10billion for Non-Teaching released in February 2021) was incorporated into the assented 2021 Appropriation Supplementary Budget??

Presently, information reaching federal tertiary institution shows that the money meant for earn academic allowance in now in the school account.

If Assu is proposing 75% What will be the sharing formulary this time for the 3 remaining unions. Now that NAAT have pulled out of JAC.

Politics / The North Don't Care We Should Care by timstone(m): 8:01am On Sep 29, 2021
North vs South...

I like the communique of Northern governors after their enlarged meeting.

I like that powerful traditional rulers also attended.

I like that they have told us pointedly that power is not going to rotate between the North and South.

I like that, before that, one of them told us that they have the votes to produce the next president and that if they do that heavens won't fall.

I like it because it will drum some sense into the South.

I like it because it tells the Yoruba and Igbo that they don't determine what happens in this country.

I remind Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who told the Igbo in the last general elections that they cannot be trusted. Her husband trusted the North.

Let's watch, wait and see.

Buoyed by their support, the president has put the North effectively in charge of this country.

I like the fight over VAT.

It's at the Supreme Court. But let me bet you, the South will lose it.

Not because they don't have enough grounds to canvas that they be allowed to collect it, but because the North took their time to gerrymander this country to their advantage while the Yoruba and Igbo hated themselves and acquiesced.

They have taken over all arms of government.

They are not just in government, they are the government.

They understand politics.

Middle Belt cannot be part of the South. Forget it. No matter the maltreatment, they regard themselves as Northerners. They are Northerners.

We make noise and speak big grammar, appearing on television to talk.

They meet and decide how far our big grammar can go.

We think they are fools and unintelligent.

They think we are fools and arrogant.

Yoruba see Igbo as their enemies. Igbo see Yoruba as their major challengers.

Today, we know better, I hope.

So, if we have sense, as we claim, time to wake up is now!

The North does not care.

We should care.

zolajpower:

Bros I'm sorry to say this oo the binis will become more useless if they think they can wrestle with the ijaws
Ask the isekiris who are close to the binis In tradition , culture and norms how they almost wipe away the tribe called isekiri .. or ask the urobos ...... For the records the ijaws re the normadic Fulani or if you like call them the herdsmen of Nija delta grin . They don't fight to lose .... They in almost all the Niger Delta state including ondo . The only advice I have is live in peace with them all . They re small but mighty and deadly shocked

You don't compare your ijaws with urhobos
Go to aladja ask Ijaw people the battles there it was only the aladja not to talk of the urhobos
It's true ijaws have unity,we the urhobos respect them for that.
If you want to boast of prowess, leave urhobos out of it.
If the battle is too strong for the ijaws they will always becon on the urhobos for help.

The ijaws have been flexing muscles lately & the time to cut them to size is now. Ijaws feel they have the monopoly of violence simply cos they’ve been able to acquire little weapons right? The Binis need to show these animals from the creek who’s boss once and for all. Failure to do so then I’ll know that the Binis are very useless.

Uyi or ekpen what ever they call your name
The benis know a cockroach can never attend feast with the hen.

Some couple of months back, an Ijaw village call ikoro after ekenwan barrack in Benin city
Decided to have a new king your oba send Nigeria army there to stop and intimate them from crowning a king, because they believe only the oba can be king in Benin city.

When the day for the coronation came ijaws from different state came to that village through gelegele river the so call soldier were not bold enough to stop them .The king was crown and nothing happen.
The king is still there very soon they are going to start claiming all the neighbouring benin village around them to get local Govt head quarter for themselves
Then it will shock you uyiekpen and the so call benins who believes that their oba is superior

Even Governors of young states like Yobe, Taraba, Ebonyi, Osun, Delta will never give this kind of excuse. He is already giving a reason why it will likely take another 6 months. What happened to all those who worked hard to help him defeat APC? He can take from such pool with no hassles and reconstitute or just run with his last cabin hiet members to ensure governance does not suffer as he awaits a l8st from every ward in Edo state ( I honestly don't understand the meaning of his excuse requesting for list from every ward )

The Governor is money conscious
He believes they don't have any thing to offer
Besides he paid them off before they gave him the ticket.
So don't blame the man too much.
