makano: Hello Ominii
All through my years on this thread coupled with my experience with the Canada study application, I do no think I have come across the bolded message... Do you have an evidence that the message really is from an IRCC agent?
In case you don't know, its not the Visa officers that reply to your emails but a customer care representative, and if truly the message was sent to an applicant, then that is so rude from the Customer care officer because sending of multiple mails is never a criteria or reason to refuse an application and also its the Visa officer that attend to applications and not Customer care representatives....
Come and let us reason together, an applicant applies for a study permit application, he passes Background Check, he passes his Medicals, he passes his Eligibility review and overall meets the study permit requirement of Canada. And now sending several mails to IRCC over his delayed application, results in the refusal of his application... Does that make any sense to you?
Or have you seen in any GCMS note that the reason for refusal was because the applicant was sending too many mails?
Please lets be guided....
Peace Thank you but I actually have a friend that did it countness time and received that msg that she should stop and few minutes after her rejection letter came but I asked her to forward the message she has been sending to them to me huuummmm if l am the one self I go refused am. So I think the tone of our mes matter most too. |

makano: Hello Tinakem
The bolded is actually very funny....
Ask the person to tell you where it is stated that "disturbing them too much" will lead to a refusal.. When the person gets an IRCC source, then you can come back here to update me..
Now note: So far your application has passed the IRCC processing time for study permit and also if your resumption date is getting close, you have every right to send them as many mails as possible...
We have many applicants here and those I helped with their applications who sent as many as 10 mails everyday, and within a short while, they got updates on their application... I had a particular applicant early this year who I was guiding, I told him to send at least 5 mails everyday, but cos of his worry on his delayed application, he actually sent 10-15 mails everyday to at least 10 IRCC Visa centres and also sent several mails to his MP.. He got Medical request the next week he started and got his PPR the 3rd week...
The only time it is not appropriate to "disturb" them with mails is when your application has not passed the processing time...
Whites are not like we Africans that see things like this as disturbance.... You are not disturbing them, you are simply reminding them of your delayed application which supposed to have been finalised cos it has actually passed the processing time...
Let us all be guided...
Peace Thank you brother. My admission letter is valid for a year. Do u think that is why they are delaying me thinking that if l can go in September I can in January even till may. What can someone give as an excuse since this showing on the letter. Pls pardon my question abeg |

makano: Hello Gbemisola
You said you sent them lot of mails which prompted for your Eligibility to start, so why do you wanna stop now..
Keep bombarding them with more mails until you get your PPR... In fact I expect you increase the number of mails you will be sending henceforth....
Do not relent until you get your Love letter...
Peace Please bro, what do u suggest, my eligibility started on 14th September and up till now nothing. I sent them mail once and they responded that my application is still under review. Should I continue sending or should hold on cos someone said if u disturb them too much they might give u decision faster which may not be favourable |

Ogteri: Hello everyone!! I had to finally learn how to comment here so I can share this. Never knew how♀️♀️
PPR dropped on the 28th of September for myself and my 2 kids May 15th First time Applicant We all did upfront medicals. My son’s medical was updated to pass May 26th My daughter and I had ours updated to pass June 3rd After then Silenceeeeeeee!!!!
Ordered GCMS notes through @anon came out nothing much there.
BVL and PPR came within minutes of each other on the 28th of September.
PPR for both my kids same day as well, mins after mine.
I applied for visit visa for my kids as I didn’t know I could apply for SP for them then when I was submitting my application.
I used my other 2 kids, my hubby and my job as home ties.
I got Study Leave approval from work
My hubby was my sponsor though I submitted my personal savings SOA, I didn’t submit my salary account. I submitted my Appointment, confirmation and promotion letters.
My hubby used his company account, got a letter from the bank to say he is the sole signatory to the account, I am a director, showed documentation for that, also submitted his contract documents to show source of funds.
Submitted marriage certificate Birth certificate for all my kids, even those I didn’t apply for.
The visa pages on our passport for my kids and I My hubby’s data page in lieu of consent letter for the kids, in his sponsorship letter he mentioned he would be solely responsible for the upkeep for the kids and I while still being able to adequately care for the ones I am leaving behind.
I notorized the sponsorship letter, affidavit of support and my SOP
Submitted IELTS and 1 year MBS for all the accounts I used.
I thank God it ended in praise. The wait can be exhausting!! Gosh!!! For all the months I was waiting, it was all I prayed about, especially that my kids get approved. It shall it end in praise for others waiting for PPR.
Thanks to @frankrobbn for answering my questions via email.
Thanks @anon for answering my questions as well.
I appreciate Congratulations |

Lianna2020: I actually didn’t send to mp after bvl as she had already told me that pp is being processed .
I only continued sending to Nairobi with urgent as title and I didn’t tell them I have seen bvl. My case and yours can’t be same , hopefully this helps .
Kindly see below
Subject : urgent
Dear IRCC,
I (name), is a Nigerian citizen who is currently studying her master's degree in University Canada West, Vancouver, Canada.
I am contacting on behalf of my infant and Spouse application, I will be going back to school on the 3rd of October for my studies and I needs to travel with my baby as i cannot leave my five month old baby behind.
I left for studies on the 29th July 2021, but had to come back after a month because my baby fell ill (attached medical report). My baby has been sick, ranging from Diarrhea (due to change in Diet), refusal to take formula and drastic loss of weight.
I could barely concentrate on my studies being that I’m a new mother and I was afraid this would negatively affect my studies hence my coming back to Nigeria while i see how my family can join me.(attached chats).
I’m appealing that at least - the baby’s application be treated as urgent to help me be at peace when i travels back to Canada.
Kindly find below details:
Main Applicant: Unique Client Identifier (UCI) Application number: Passport No: Date of Birth:
Child's name: Unique Client Identifier (UCI) Application number: Date of Birth: Passport No:
Thank you very much in anticipation.
Warm regards, (name) Waoo, thank u So much for all u do. Did u actually come back or just camouflage. Will they find out it wasn't real if someone put it this way |

The Way God did it for me, he will do it for you all waiting on your approval. All the best. Indeed what God cannot do does not exist. Congratulations to u. I tap into this testimony |

PaPaJayden: My Timeline Guys, I'm overjoyed. May everyone on this stage who is waiting and hoping for the same miracle feel the excitement and relief I felt today, after such a long time. This mission began in the year 2019. I was in the Express Entry pool, and there didn't seem to be any hope. I had also applied to provinces in Canada for their various PNPs, but had never received a response. I started thinking about going using the study route in December 2020. I began researching into it — on the internet, on YouTube, on Instagram, and so on.
Long stories short: Applied, May 15. Biometrics, May 20 (Silence followed afterward). Medical Request Letter, September 9. Medicals Done September 13 (I nearly fainted when IOM called me for a repeat chest X-ray the next day). Medicals Updated to Passed, September 17. BVL & PPR, October 1, 2021.
Documents Submitted: o LOA University Canada West. o SOP (I spent 1 month writing this and after submission, I still felt like I should have added some more info… lol…). o MBA, 2 years. o I am self-sponsored, with 8 years of banking experience, and 3 years of FMCG experience. o My Salary Account bank statement (MBS, 250k balance, turnover N35m, for 8 months period thereabout, and account is 8 years old). o Another personal savings account statement. I use this account mostly for transacting my private business (MBS, nearly 13M balance, turnover N140m, for a 9months period, and account is more than 5 years old). o Company registration docs (I didn’t attach the company account statement. However, there were series of funds transfers from my company account to my individual account) o Receipt of CAD 7900 tuition paid. o Certificate of Occupancy of bequeathed landed property from my dad to me, after his passing (land allocation receipt, survey reports, ground rents, etc. included). o Marriage certificate. o Birth Certs for my two kids. o Family Pictures, showing my wife, kids, and me. o O’level, Degree, and Discharge Certificates. o Several Professional Certificates (NIM, NISP, ACCA Diploma in Accounting & Business, Advanced Excel Training, Business Writing, Udemy certs, EDX certs, etc.) o Driver’s License o 2 South Africa Visas and histories of a visit to SA o Raised a webform and sent emails to Lagos and Nairobi for the first time 5 days ago. o Applied & received the first GCMS note on August 24th with nearly everything blank. o Second GCMS note should arrive in a week or two. I'm sure I left out a lot in sharing this experience, but I hope this would be helpful to someone. My landing gist would come next. Perhaps then I'll be able to provide a more complete summary. Despite the fact that I discovered this site after submitting it, I've learned a lot here and feel compelled to give back. May everyone still waiting to receive good news eventually, Amen! Congratulations may Canada favour you |

cutemelv: Timeline Application: May 14th Biometrics: 10th June Medicals: 14th September Medical passed: 16th September BVL: 1st October PPR: 1st October couple of minutes after. First time applicant.
Sincerely I wasn't optimistic about my application because I didn't pay first year tuition and I used a friend in USA as sponsor(didn't upload my statement, IELTS, employment letter and all the numerous documents I have come across here). I discovered this forum after I had applied. I uploaded very few documents and seeing people upload a lot more discouraged me further. But I thank God it ended in praise. I have work experience in a multinational here in Nigeria and have never travelled. My program is M.Eng Computer Engineering.
I sincerely wish all those waiting for decisions a successful response. And hope this encourages someone out there. This is grace, I tap into such grace oo. Pls was ur medical upfront |
