Armenia fields very old soviet Era air defense systems like the Osa AD. No report on destruction of newer systems like S300 yet.

Maybe it’s just a matter of time. But Turkey is a light weight country that somehow is punching it out with the heavy weights I don’t understand what they are trying to achieve

Turkish drones have proven themselves and the missiles are made in turkey too. Russian air defense systems have shown that they are just useless junk. If they had s400 it would be in flames by now

Looks like pantsir has been upgraded

African countries should avoid Russian fighter jets, they have very bad records in air combat against western jets. Confirmed kills are in the hundreds. The F-15 is the only western fighter never to loose in air to air combat, the F18 has surprisingly lost to a Mig25 which has very poor maneuverability.

Considering the economic warfare the west has waged against Zimbabwe, African countries should prepare just in case. Even strong economies like Algeria or South Africa are not immune.

A good start would be using the West African Eco for intra-Africa trade, African countries trading with each other more, and a tax on any non-African imports

That's the truth. The Pantsir and Patriot are dragging the title for the worst air defence system. The Buk M2 and the Tors have proven to be very good.

Why I think the Patriot would fare better and will continue to post sales irrespective of performance is because the Americans control the media narrative and America is an English speaking country.

It's not the same for the Russians, they don't control the media narrative and they are not English speaking.

This was why I was concerned for the Russians with regards to the pummeling the Pantsir was receiving from Turkey. This only stopped when the Syrian deployed the Buk system.

Now Turkey has continued same thing in Libya. I read Drones will not be effective because they are slow moving and would easily be shot down, but what we see in Syria and Libya is they have been very effective against air defences.

At this point I would think users would dump the Pantsir for manpads.
