Sure why not, though I can only say for sure concerning my type of decoder, not used strong decoder before.

At the screen of Satellite/Frequency/TP inputs, press the red button on your decoder, this will take you to the screen highlighten the current keys, sebc, nagra, viaccess etc, , then chose the columu you desire to change the key figures and change it, , well thats all.

Like I said before, I only use technosat decoder, have not operate strong decoder, though I want to believe the steps could be the same.

Try this and let me know whats the outcome.

Thanks for the directives given to me about the key, am going to try it out. For the Satellite my dish is pointing to, I may not be so sure it is Astra/Hotbird, however the inital installer that did it for me and from where I bought the Decoder told me so, with frequeny/Symbol rate (12722)V-26657, I also use 12520H-27500.

For entering the keys, I have done that before, like I told you in my last post, I got some keys which I enetered through Viaccess coloum ( the doecoder had serval key coloums: Negra, SECA, VIAaccess, conax and cryptowork) and which Help me to now view ETV, however the channels sound (Voice) is not working, but I can watch all the various programs shown on the ETV channels.

Moreso,is there other frequencies within the direction my dish is pointing to which I could get more channels?

Thanks for your concern to help. I had actually watched ETV long before when I just bought the decoder and its materials in Lagos, after which I relocate to Abuja. My dish is of 90cm or so I think since its a little bit bigger than the DSTV size, You know this size with MYTV written on it, and the satellite its pointing to is Astra and Hotbird. I can get up to 30 channels, with most of them been religious channels and other with $ (dollar sign) which opens if I get a MYTV access card, though ETV doesnt open with them.

However, I got some BISS codes (1234569CABCDEF67 ;FOX TV Serbia 13°E) from the net which I entered into the decoder (the name is Technosat 5500 ss) thourght its VIAccess option and the ETV channel just opened and I was able to view it, but the sound (voice) system for the ETV alone is not been heard, just the pictures.


What can be the problem.

I need your help regarding my Decoder, I use Technosat 5500 SS decoder and its been hell trying to watch etv channel. Any clue as what I can do to be able to open up the channel and also more frquencies I can point to, I reside in Abuja. Thanks

Well guys, I can rightly say something is wrong either with the text format/ marking scheme or Basscomm as a whole. I can't imagining me getting a zero in a test, even if its a rocky science, let alone English, maths and Aptitude.

I have a strong feeling that either they have already selected the people they wanted and just wish to set the text in order to fulfil all rightousness, or some other thing uncertain is happening.

I decided not to bother my self on it and whatever is the out come let it be. yesterday, today and in the future, even in my dreams, I can not have a zero (0) in any test, is imposicant.

I rest my case

Is it not horrible, when people try in their own imagination to out smart God?

Let me let you know my dear people: I dont have to defend God or compel anyone to believe that He (God) exists, nor will I ask you to join any so call 'religion'

However I can tell you that there is God and that christainity is not a religon. you and only you have thr right to decide what is best for you.

If you feel there's no heaven or hell, cos for some obvious reason you can't see or feel them, thats for you.

be that as it may: let me say this; for me God is God and He's the God of all creations, exists from eternity to eternity and he's ways are perfect, he gave us the choice to chose what kind of life to live and even so He advice that we chose a good life which is his ways.

However, whatever we feel, say, think or do can not in any way affect His existance nor His ways.

If I were you, knowing that he existed is not enough, but getting to know him better and believe in his awesome power and living for him will us good and most importantly we cant know him is isolation and thats were christainity comes to play.

thats what you get for been a nigerian, wen will things ever get better in this country. when FG cant support NYSC, my brodas, whats the need to continue the programme.
Ya, me I served 5 years ago and can tell you I strugled to get my self a related place with my course of study, and even at den since I was determine to succeed, I had to do lots  of things for seltling middle belt crisis (Food). However, I can tell you that the program had lost its savor, and no longer at easy.

When push comes to shove like this, its imperative to give it a break, why suffering pple who spent 5-7 of their years studing, where U had ASUU strike to contend, missing scripts, enuf and irrelvant test bboks and handout from leactures, while looking at your age, (as you shouldnt be in school after 24 yrs if not U re already out of luck for employment, only in dis Nigeria)

and after, some pple will sit somewere and say its time for quota, to which they will maanipulate the names and file in their children, cousins and relations.

This NYSC program is now useless, its aim and objectives defected and its high time, FG recoganised this and stop wasting its time.

I call for a drop of the programe.

Is this not horrible, when a federal Goverment can't take care of its own any more. just 2 bad for the present FG.
