I dont know what part of the world your in but where i am it is never a problem. Most guys have certain respect rules for single mothers and dont use and abuse them. Most guys dont go for a single mother unless they are serious. Here, us single mothers are not desperate for a man and most work and keep their home. Others i know like me are focused on raising our children and providing for them. There are some that are desperate but most guys stay away from them. As i said, i dont know about other cultures.

Can someone please explain to me why he would marry her anyway if he doesnt want her. Why doesnt he marry someone in America??

I had a tshirt once that said 'My eyes are up here' with arrows pointing up. When a guy talks to your chest, its creepy and i have no further interest!! They need to learn to not let us seem them being sleazy!!!!

You wont be able to trust the first two so why would you want to marry them if they already have shown their true selves. The widow will know what it takes to be a wife and by what you said she is trustworthy and settled. Her child should not be a problem. Love it as your own. The child lost her father and needs a good father figure in her life. Just cos you didnt make her doesnt mean she wont bless your life and vice versa. If your seriously thinking of marriage then you should be old enough to pay no mind to what others say. Its your life and her life, not theirs. If you marry what others choose you will be miserable and blame it on them. Search your heart not your mind for the answer.

I cant comment as a Nigerian women but i can comment as a woman. There are plenty of strong Nigerian women on here that dont need any man to provide for them. They seem to be doing well all by themselves.
You guys are all just bitching cos a rich woman can provide for herself and doesnt need a man for anything, whereas a rich guy still needs a woman no matter what. Women can live without you but you cant live without them. As a women if i was rich the idea of a poor guy would not be a turn on cos a poor guy means no strength, no passion, no get up and go, no dreams, etc. But it is natural that a guy with money means he is all of those things a poor guy is not. Its not the money its the personality that got it.

Has no one read that the father is working. Doesnt sound like he is old and frail Sounds like a dodgy dad to me. As parents we are supposed to raise and educate our children then they go off into the world to make their own way. If parents are still earning income why would they want to be a burden on their children. Sounds like the father is bad with money. Maybe the father needs to hear the word 'no' as many children did to learnt to be responsible for himself.
