Good morning mamas, can't say am sad right now but I'm not happy, but in all I pray to God for a miracle if I won't be able to bear d prob, I guess God gave me the best answer to my prayers. while some mama's have been rejoicing that they got a job while pregnant am sad dat I just lost mine,in dis harsh economy, dh really needs d support as his work is not a rosy as it was. av been coping with this wicked senior colleague that has made it her aim to make my life miserable at work upon d 50k wey I dey collect. am even scared I will develop HBP cos am always scared of going to work everyday. she finally convinced my boss to sack me yesterday, it's just painful that my said boss who I hold in high esteem has never asked for my side of d story. it was my aim to work till Dec. so I can save some money to start a small laundry service, then I can av time to Takia of baby when he come in Jan. but I believe God is still in the business of doing miracle. I just got a washing machine and I intend to save to buy Oda things for d biz, but dat is no longer possible, as I don't want to get a loan for a biz am just starting.
pls mama's dat lives in Lagos, when I finally kick start d biz abeg patronize my service, I want to concentrate on pick up and delivery service, so we can pick ur laundry from ur office or home. and dh is an immigration consultant pls holla at us if u need an international passport. his office is at immigration office in alagbon Lagos. pls help a sister in need.

Thank you all for your advice but unfortunately I am alone in this.
My now chicken hearted idiot (no apologies because that's what he is right now) of a husband sees nothing wrong with his cousin breastfeeding his child.
Infact, he was more concerned whether I caused a scene or not.
He just asked "Is that all?"
He just told me not to be angry. And that made me even more angry.
I have decided to talk to my MIL. I don't care what happens after that.

i used to be a wheat fan not until i went for scan one day &was made to listen to the head nutritionist of my clinic.
Apart from the inflammations, GIT disturbances & other issues it causes in the body, wheat causes spikes & swings in blood sugar levels ironically.
Alot of people have stopped eating wheat in the last 2-3years, after research confirmed these & they were sensitized.
Most people have since switched to a healthier & better option - 'Oat'. So the fact that some others still eat wheat doesn't make it the healthiest of all choices.

God dey, You & LO are very safe though my dear.

Sorry , you hear. It's gestational diabetes abi or you have always had high blood sugar? If it's pregnancy induced diabetes, with proper care it will disappear once you put to birth. ...You can eat unripe plantain too....you can eat oats too....

Sorry about your experience. Google is right.....bitter leaf is not safe for pregnant women especially in concentrated form as you took yours. How many weeks gone are you ? I want to believe if you are above 20 weeks or so , you should be relatively safe. Pray about it. Ask God to protect your LO. Take bed rest for a day or 2 if possible. You will be fine.

As for the diabetes stuff, just chill it may be nothing. I was told to do fasting blood sugar test and it came out clean. Do the test and be sure, no need worrying about it
